"Every aspect of our experience was excellent! The waiter was very attentive and charismatic. The experience lasted 2 hours but the time flew by. We dined on a very busy day but the service did not suffer. Reservations recommended!"

"We were in Columbus for a volleyball championship and we wanted to find a special place for our family to enjoy dinner. The Melting Pot was a great find...the we all enjoyed it and the food was outstanding...I would come again..It was a great fun experience that my family and kids will remember about our trip ..they are still talking about the wonderful desert at the end.....thank you for the wonderful service and great food...."

"My experience at The Melting Pot overall was not a positive one. First of all, this is one of the darkest restaurants in Columbus. The poor lighting combined with the somber music create a very downer mood overall. The first song we heard was Bill Withers - Ain't No Sunshine, and that song set the tone for the rest of the evening. We were celebrating an occasion (graduation) and our server's first comment was how hard it was going to be to find a job. The food was bland but the wine was excellent.
If you've never had fondue, by all means try it. But if you're spending 80 dollars or more on a couple for dinner go to any other fine dining establishment. Any 25 dollar steak would blow The Melting Pot out of the water. I will not be back."

"The experience was fun, the service was excellent, the food was very good. Dinner for 4 came to almost $300 without tip. We had 4 beers and 3 glasses of wine besides food. Although it was nice, we wouldn't go back. It would be a perfect place just for dessert."

"We had heard a lot about fondue dinners and were excited to experience the Melting Pot for ourselves. Needless to say, we weren't disappointed. From the decor, environment to their friendly, courteous and knowledgeable staff this was a true experience. Our server was very helpful in providing us "first timers" with suggestions and tips. We selected the 4 course dinner of which I ordered the Fondue Delight and it was absolutely delicious! I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a true experience in fine dining."

"I made reservations to take my girlfriend out to somewhere new.. The staff was great, quickly seated, & promptly served. Waiter did a great job of explaining the menu. We choose the 4-course option, with a bottle of wine.
Meal started with Fiesta Cheese Fondue Sauce. We loved it with the veggies, not so much on apples, & of course it was great on nachos.
For the salad, we both opted for the House Salad, & were glad we did. Very nice. Good size, fresh & crisp taste.
We choose to opt for two different entrees to maximize our tasting experience. She choose the Pacific Rim, and I had the Fondue Delight. The food was great. Awesome in fact.
Desert was the Smore' treat. Mmmm, it was very good.
Over all a great time."

"The level of service was outstanding! The waiting staff was very helpful and more than happy to share their advice, if you want it. The quality of the food was pretty good and served in just the right portions. It was just my wife and I, and we both ordered their 4 course meal. Taking this route was a bit more expensive, but it was a special occasion and our first time, so we went all out. Cost for two draft beers, an 8 oz glass of wine, and the four course dinner option for two was $133 which includes a $20 tip. I forgot my credit card there, but the manager gave me a call (I made reservations with my phone number) and within 5 minutes of leaving, I had my credit card back."

"It's unfortunate that I left not feeling full. Although the portion sizes didn't match up with what I'd hoped a $100 meal would give us (to be honest, they rarely do), everything else was stellar. Amazing quality food, great service, polite staff, A+ all around. Although I may want to eat at home after lifting before coming (a relatively common theme for me) I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with a normal appetite looking for a quality and unique dining experience with great food and a fantastic staff. Trust me on this - don't skip desert."

"I have been a long time patron of your establishment I was more frequent of a visitor at your old location on high street. As this was my first visit to this location I feel that you have lost some of the charm and atmosphere. Not to forget that your pricing is way to high I will not be visiting you again nor will I recommend to my friends. "Prices went way up! Love the food and atmosphere, but it's far too expensive for how much food you get. I wouldn't recommend it anymore unless you're willing to spend $100 for all of the courses."

"I took my wife to the Melting Pot for our anniversary this weekend, it was our second time eating there. We absolutely love this place, the food is terrific. The service is always really good and its really a great spot for a romantic dinner for a special occasion. I would love to go there all the time but its very pricey. Its very expensive but the food is worth it and the fondue experience is worth it. I would recommend it to everyone."

"This is a great place to go for a nice romantic evening, High backed booths kind of separate you from the other diners, the sound still travels, but for the most part it is quiet. Small groups like a double date work well here also,"

"We had a wonderful time at The Melting Pot. We went for our 1 year anniversary and were not disappointed. Our server was wonderful, he had a plethora of knowledge about the menu and what went well together. The tables for two were cozy and comfortable. The only complaint I have is that you have to walk down stairs (no elevator) and you have to sit in a booth(there are no stand alone chairs). Having family who are elderly, whom I would like to take but am unable to, this is presents a problem. Overall I would highly recommend The Melting Pot. We are planning on going back very soon."

"Dined for lunch during the week. Very romantic atmosphere. First time eating at Melting Pot. Waitress explained all aspects of how the fondue experience worked. We chose the four course experience and had a great time! We ordered their classic for our entrees. All meats were delicious. The sauces that came with the entrees were also great additions. Almost too much going on at one point as we had skewers, plates, sauces the pot all on the table at the same time. Dessert was the best part as we were able to dip various fruits, marshmallows, rice crispies treats into a thick pot of chocolate!

"We've been to the Melting Pot several times and have always enjoyed it, but this time we left disappointed. The cheese was cold, it did end up getting hot when we got down to the bottom of the pot. The salads were good and the entree was fine. But then the chocolate was cold also. This is the first time we've been since the new menu, so didn't know if it was a reflection of that? perhaps new cooking style? When you spend this much at a restaurant, you expect to be wowed, and we left feeling everything was just fair. Won't be back anytime soon."
