"I took 2 visiting friends to Il Mulino. This was my first time in the Miami location. Everyone was so impressed. The whole experience was just amazing. As soon as we sat down we were swarmed with people welcoming us, bringing out cheese, bread, bruschetta, garlic bread, mushrooms. They literally filled the table. My friends both turned to me and said "wow, they just make you feel so welcome, like they really want you to be here." They were attentive, but let us chat away. The food was delivered promptly and was fantastic. The dinner ended with them bringing out grappa. What more could they have possibly done? And the location ... that hotel is just stunning."

"I have been going to this location for over 8 years & this was my 1st BAD experience luckely it was with the service not the food.
The food was great & the service started out GREAT then after the main dish it went SHARPLY DOWN HILL!
Waiters were gathered to talk among themselves while cleaning wine glasses. Not only in plain view of our table but their spanish chatter was way to loud...The bill took over 30 minutes to get after I asked for it & for the 1st time in some 20 visits, my waiter decided NOT to offer us the house's complimentary digestive.
I was as usual satisfied with the meal we had, Branzino (not in the salt) & Gnocchi pomadoro both were delicious !"

"What can I say - this restaurant is fantastic. My wife treated me for my birthday here and they were just great to us. A lovely table by the window with a view of the Atlantic. The meals were wonderful and the service was superb. We visit this restaurant every time we are in Bal Harbour."

"Theis was our third visit in three weeks. The osso buco, ordered by my wife, was gigantic in size. That being said, the meat was perfectly cooked, tender and tasty and among the best, she said, she has ever had. I ordered a black pasta with lobster and it, too, was perfectly prepared. We had a desert of mixed berries and cappuccino to end the perfect dinner. The food is wonderful and the ambiance is excellent. All in all, a wonderful dining experience."

"For Miami, this place is a cut above. Very Italian. Make that very, very Italian. The welcome you with cheese and antipasti, and then it moves on from there. Solid wine list.

My only complaint, which many will not accept as a complaint, is that the portion sizes are probably a little on the large size. I would have been happy with less."

"We went for my 64th birthday. We were seated immediately, and waiter danced around us. They brought italian sausage and fine parmesan chunks, which were delicious. The bread basket had wonderful crispy crackers with cheese and olive oil (maybe a bit too much oil), but delicious as well.
Wine list has few wines under $ 100 and I found it somewhat overpriced. Chose a bottle for $ 85 that was no more than average.
Menu is varied and I ordered the double veal chop which was served with grilled potatoes. I ordered a side plate of pasta with mushroom and oil which was absolutely tasteless. M'aitre should have suggested something else. The chop was best I have ever had.
The birthday dessert was really special and excellent in every way."

"party of five and four of us loved the plate. one wasn´t as good as expected, but they heard the person saying that id did not love it, and ofered to change the plate for something else. my friend did not accept, but this was very nice of then. Portions are big, so you can share.

"We have been here several times in the past for dinner and it has always been excellent. This was our first brunch. Instead of a buffet, there was a menu - 3 courses plus dessert. Again, everything was just very nice. We ate outside, overlooking pool and ocean. A perfect way to start a Sunday."
