Rhett's Piano Bar & Brasserie
Our full menu features wonderful entrees such as Roasted Duck, Organic Herb-Crusted Grouper, Roasted-Shallot Lamb Chops, Barolo-Braised Short Ribs, Espresso-Rubbed Filet Mignon, as well as great starters including Lump Crab Cakes New Orleans, Goat-Cheese Crouton, Lobster Bisque and much more.
Our wine list is second to none in the area, and we have the finest selection of Bourbons, Scotches and other fine spirits.
Rhett"s has live jazz-piano entertainment every night featuring torch music and sentimental love songs primarily from the 30s' 40's and 50's. Our music holds close to the great jazz traditions, as well as to the melodic structure of the blues. During the week you will primarily hear solo jazz piano. On the weekends we add the flair of outstanding torch singers. You'll see the singers walking through the dining room, singing table side and insuring a fun-filled night of wonderful entertainment for all.

"We loved the entertainment, piano and singer were great.
The friendly crowd at the bar were a little to loud to fully enjoy the music.
I ordered boneless chicken but it came with bones. The waitress was very kind and offered to exchange it for something else but I declined as I only eat chicken breast or vegetarian (I ended up taking it home). There was no vegetarian on the menu that I could see and my wive's meal was already served.
I will go again but I wish the noisy, late bar crowd, were kept in check and at the back. I would order the tomato and cheese starter."

"I surprised my husband with a trip to St. Augustine for his 30th birthday. After reading reviews, I thought this would be a great place for a romantic/fun atmosphere, with really good food. It was romantic, but we were disappointed in the food... especially for the price. We'd definitely come back for the atmosphere and to have some wine. However, next time we'll plan on eating somewhere else."

"The food at Rhett's is excellent once it arrives. We had a reservation and still waited almost two hours for the food to arrive. The manager did not seem to care and only made excuses. Once we finally ate, the waitress was too busy to bring the check to the table in a timely manner. Next time we plan to spend over $300 on dinner, it will certainly be somewhere else."

"We went specifically to see a friend sing on a Saturday evening. Interior ambiance was as expected for a nice piano bar. I had a Guinness, and my wife a Sangria. Both were served in a very tall, narrow glass, making it difficult to determine just how much you were getting. My guess is they were 12 ounce glasses, at best, which would make their Guinness way overpriced. We had one appetizer, eggroll, which was nothing special. I doubt it was actually made by anyone in the restaurant. Tasted like something out of the freezer, and warmed up."

"I've wanted to eat at Rhett's ever since it took the place of my favorite spa! It's right next door to Scarlett O'Hara's which I've frequented for years. Scarlett's has a cook; Rhett's has a chef. Both are equally fantastic. I'm in town only once a year, so this was the year to go to Rhett's. It was my husband's birthday and I insisted! The server whose name was John was the most genuinely friendly, entertaining and caring server I could have asked for. He was truly a delight. The menues (get this) light up at night! I had to take a picture of that. The choices were varied and moderately priced. John suggested an appetizer of Goat Cheese Crouton with Mushroom and Maderia Creme Sauce. He was right on about that one. Our entrees perfect!"

"The Valentines day meal was not up to the usual Rhett's standard. The beef wellington appetizer my wife had was dry and tough. My main course the pork was hard from being over cooked. It was very disapointing for a $120 meal without tip! I'm not one to send something back. I'll give them a second chance & if this continues we eat somewhere else and listen to the music at the bar. Thank goodness the music was great as it usual is that night."

While we were scheduled to dine upstairs in a more romantic atmosphere, we asked to be seated downstairs to listen to the entertainment. They accommodated our request with no problem. While it was "active" downstairs that is what we wanted that night. I have never dined upstairs but went upstairs to check it out. If appeared to be very a nice atmosphere with quests still able to hear the pianist downstairs. The atmosphere upstairs reminded us of a wonderful dining experience in New England in a quaint Inn we frequented. A+++. Pricing was moderate/high but worth every dollar. Great menu with varied pricing."

"We dined at Rhett's for Valentine's Day. I was expecting a nice quiet restaurant but it was exactly the opposite. After a few minutes at our table which felt like we in the middle of the the dance floor in front of the piano player, we actually enjoyed it! The food was exquisite and the atmosphere was electric. But not a quiet place. The piano player/singer was phenomenal and we just really had a wonderful time!"

"Food was amazing. Live music and ambiance is so appealing. Overall, great experience and definitely worth going, worth the price point. Service issues specific to waiter/waitress. Place was very busy, yet staff was socializing with other employees at hostess stand rather than checking on our food or refilling water. However, when refilling our wine, she filled it to the top, which indicates need for staff education."

"I have been going to St. Augustine for over 40 years and am excited to find a fantastic live music club/restaurant. The food was delicious, the drinks great, and the atmosphere intimate, but vibrant. Will definitely make this a must-do everytime we come to St. Augustine."

"From walking through the door until leaving the restaurant, the wait staff was GREAT. All were friendly, courteous, and very accommodating. The atmosphere was fantastic,
I wish I could say the same for the food. Wedge salad was very fresh and tasty; however, the fish I had was served COOL without much taste. Total experience was GOOD. I would defiantly go again for the jazz bar."

"My husband surprised me with a weekend in St Augustine and dinner at Rhett's. the steak was perfectly done and the veggies sweet and crisp. The french onion soup was rich and had just the right amount I'd cheese. The scallops and mushrooms were grilled but not too much. The desserts were a bit heavy. The piano player seemed to know every classic and modern tune the audience requested."

"I've been coming to Rhett's since it opened in 2010.
I love the ambiance (very unique), food, dessert,
wine, the staff and last, but now least, the entertainment.
We love coming to see the wonderful, chanteuse, Peggie
Black, with her own style of jazz combined
with a flair all her own. She delights us with her
tales of the jazz greats, walks around with her wireless
mic and sings/talks to us individually, all along
wearing dresses (all with her own style) that
convince us that we're in NYC or Chicago! Her voice is all
her own, as she takes the standards and adds
her own charm to it!"
