Equator in Old Town Pasadena specializes in Asian Fusion cusine with additional American and Mexican dishes for a well rounded eating experience. There is something for everyone at the Equator including gourmet coffee drinks. Equator has the best happy hour ( 4PM to 11PM)specials Monday thru Thursday. Monday Madness-All appetizers and well drinks are half off. Tasty Tuesday- Your first well Martini is a dollar and we have Chicken Satay sticks for a dollar. On Wine Wednesday's you save 50% on all Wines and Sake's. Thirsty Thursdays we have $3 drink and selected appetizer specials. On Saturdays and Sundays Equator is the only place in Pasadena where you can enjoy Dim-Sum Brunch. Brunch is served from 11AM to 4PM. As an added bonus with the purchase of brunch you can enjoy $10 bottomless Lychee Champagne or Mimosas. Equator is available for private events. Equator is the place to be..Modern, Edgy, Chic, and Sexy...Experience it, the night is young!!!

"I've gone several time for dinner with friends to celebrate birthdays. They have great happy hour specials that change nightly, such as $3 martinis and appetizers, $1 martinis and satays, and more. We always order several small dishes and share. I've never been disappointed with anything we've ordered, and the martini cocktails are delicious too. The service is always friendly, though sometimes a little slow when busy. This hasn't been a problem for us since we don't come there to eat in a big hurry. The decor is fun and quirky (seems to be the same as it was when the place was a coffee shop), and that just adds to the nice, casual ambience. Prices are very reasonable, especially if you take advantage of the happy hour specials."

"This place is on a little alleyway with a few other restaurants. The staff was professional and friendly. We shared chicken satey and shrimp roll- both excellent. My husband had fish encrusted in mashed potatoes and I had the honey encrusted shrimp. Both were very good especially the fish dish. It's a trendy place for the young, but we felt very comfortable (we're retired)."
