"Each experience at this restaurant has been as wonderful as they are varied. This particular experience was for a larger party of 15 people and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. Great Service as per usual. Previous experiences have been for smaller parties of 2-4 people. Indochine has a beautiful ambience and incredibly tasty food. I recommend the coconut milk martini, YUMMMMM."

"The phone call the day before our reservation asking if we planned on dining more than an hour foreshadowed the meal... We did get bombarded at the end of our meal by servers (maybe 3) asking if we wanted to box up our meal. This was a friday evening meal. I also felt the servers to be intrusive and not very experienced. The food was a disappointment. Curry was not very deep in flavor, tasted like it hadn't been cooked long enough to meld spices and flavors. For the beautiful venue and price, it didn't live up to my expectations. My wife ate here for lunch 3 days prior and she felt the same dishes were much better at the lunch. Wondering if there was a key person missing in the kitchen this particular evening?"

"I had no idea Indochine even existed! I really loved the ambience of the restaurant, the food was very good, service was friendly and attentive. My only complaint was i orderd a martini...... i could not taste ANY alcohol in the very expensive drink! I would never order another drink with alcohol in it there!

"Excellent food, great service, doesn't look interesting from the outside, but the inside is very nice. Beautiful woodwork, candlelight, and an indoor pond. Their food is flavorful; they have many interesting dishes to choose from. The seafood dish I had recently had went down in quality compared to last year. The taste was still excellent, but the quantity of seafood was reduced. For those hard of hearing- This place is usually busy with high noise levels; some seating areas are better than others in this regard. I find the booths/tables along the walls are better for conversation if you have communication challenges. IMHO: I do highly recommend Indochine, however, taste is subjective, so I will simply advise it is worth your investigation."

"This is the second time I have been to this restauarant. I was introduced a few weeks ago while in town visiting my son. I brought the rest of the family back for a special event. The drinks were great, the curry is fabulous. If I am in town again I will make every effort to get there"

"Flagship of the Indochine restaurants in the area with a downtown UW Tacoma location. Outstanding authentic Thai food. Do not miss the fresh spring rolls as an appetizer. Another of our favorites is the Green Curry. Go with the spice at 4 or 5 stars if you can handle it, because what is Thai food without the chilies."

"Loved it! And my father, who is an extremely picky eater, said its his favorite Asian restaurant. My only "negative" comment would be about the center area seating around the fountain. While beautiful, it was less than ideal for my senior parents since it is bench seating with no back. Just know you can request seating with a back when you make reservations. There are other options. So go and enjoy!"

"This was my first time here & I would definitely return! My husband & I shared a tofu appetizer. I had the green curry w/ tofu. Wonderful flavored & assortment of vegetables. My husband had Pad Thai w/ tofu & enjoyed it. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. The desserts and gelato in the display cases were tempting!! If only we had room after dinner! "We were greeted by friendly hosts - our waitress was wonderful explaining the menu and helping us out with our selections (we had a group of 16 year old girls at one table & 2 adults/1child at another). "I made reservations for 7:15 pm. When we arrived at the restaurant we were told our table wasn't quite ready yet. I definitely understood so we just stepped to the side and waited patiently. After about 20 minutes of waiting we asked if our table was ready yet... and they still told us not quite yet. We then proceeded to watch people walk into the restaurant without reservations and get seated before us. Finally after about 30 minutes (what was the point of making the reservation?? ) we finally got seated. The hostess seemed so frantic the entire time. When she walked (slow jog) us to our table she threw the menus on the table and just walked away before we even reached the table to sit down. Horrible service, food was great."

"We don't drink so can't comment on bar or wine list and we don't have kids but, I'm sure kids that enjoy that cuisine would love it. The food was excellent! This was to celebrate a birthday and we were brought a delicious complimentary dessert. This was the first visit for my fiance celebrating his birthday and he loved the food. Parking is a bit of a challenge but, the restaurant is worth a walk of a block or two. At least we did find free parking."

"I brought a friend here to celebrate her birthday. I reminded the restaurant prior to coming of the purpose of our dinner via email and when I arrived shortly before my friend. Our dinner came promptly and was good, but the Lemongrass Chicken was spicier than what the waiter had said ("very mild"). The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing at 5:40 PM when we were seated, but became very loud and difficult to hear and converse by 6:30 PM when the place started filling up. It is obviously very popular as most of the seats were filled when we left shortly after 8 PM. I will not return because I like to be able to converse without yelling and that was impossible once more people showed up."

"Everything we great except for the fact that we had reservations, and still had to wait 30min before being seated. They did give us free spring rolls for waiting, but it would've been nice to pick our own free app considering neither one of us like spring rolls."

"I made a reservation on open table and to my suprise I got a phone call from the hostess letting me know that I can only be at the table for 1.5 hrs Never in my life have I got such a call limiting my dinner to any time The hostess was nice and the waiter was nice but they are instructed to do something that I think is not good for business Needless to say I had to eat quickly and leave 5 minutes before the time limit Needless to say I will not go back Too bad the food was good and the service was good but i think I got the message"

"First ushered into a rear dining room,extremely noisy & dark ,dark,dark..could hardly read the menu..there was plenty of room in main dining area...4 different servers, no one server in charge...frantic, hurried service..They could not turn the table quick enough...and then I rechecked the main dining room in the front and it is half filled....never again and i will tell all my friends about the experience.."
