"Outstanding experience all the way around. I reflected the fact that we were celebrating our 35th anniversary in the reservation and asked for a quiet table. While the area our table was in was pretty noisy, everything else was perfect, to include a red rose and little hearts sprinkled on the table, and a card wishing us a happy anniversary. The staff that handled our table wished us happy anniversary several times. Nice touch! Food was excellent and service top notch. Would highly recommend for anyone celebrating a special occasion, or just wanting a great meal."

"We are regulars at CG and were not disappointed. Great place for fantastic food and outstanding service. This visit we were celebrating my wife's birthday and our favorite server rolled out the red carpet treatment with rosé petals, special dessert for the occasion, and a personal touch that made the evening for my beautiful bride. Could not have been better!"

"Capital Grille was incredible, once again. Warm Spinach Salad was awesome, as was the Filet. (I don't like all the fancy stuff on my steak -because I want to taste the steak, but if you like special stuff, you'll love this place - Try the Kona rub.)
Edward - our server was most knowledgeable about the menu and was highly passionate about several of the dishes and made several recommendations. You could sense his excitement over the food but in a refined, professional way.

"What can we say . . . Capital Grille, you didn't disappoint!!! Started off with drinks, followed by an appetizer (stuffed crab cakes). Wow, they were great!!! Service was adequate. Server was knowledgeable about the menu. Had the french onion soup. It was loaded with cheese and onions. Yummm!!! Steaks all around, done to perfection. Mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach complemented the dinner. In all, outstanding dinners were had by all. We look forward to our next visit."

"Our waiter up-selled us the entire meal from the moment we sat down when he offered us a choice of bottled waters. I couldn't say one thing, order food, or even be served food without him trying to sell me more food, wine, etc. I clearly wasn't interested, but he kept pushing things.
The food was decent, but my steak was overcooked and not very good. We loved Capital Grille in Miami & Fort Lauderdale, but this was a huge disappointment, and I doubt we'll ever go to a Capital Grille again."

"Had dinner here on 25 May 13. I wish the person who pours the water came around more often. I had to drink the wife's water twice as mine was not re-filled. For the main course we had the Chilean sea bass and the Delmonico steak! wow! both were cooked perfectly and was amazing. The bass was a melt in our mouth kind of experience. Another great dish worthy of mentioning is the truffle frites! Double yum. Excellent wine selections but limited wine by the glass. Overall, a good place to dine. Don't like the fact they allow folks to dine here with shorts and t-shirts... kind of lowers the dining expectations. #captialgrille #orlando #dining #visitorlando"

"It had been several years since my last dining experience at Capital Grille - I Drive, but the top-notch quality remains. The friendly and courteous staff, the ambiance, and last but not least...the food, impressed not just my team, but also our client. Many times places for business lunches or dinners are too loud to carry on conversations, but the Capital Grille does not fall into this group. The waiter also was very patient when he happened upon us and we were in the middle of a discussion, waiting until we finished instead of interrupting. Thanks for not changing and keep the quality as high as I remebered it!"

"To be honest, this was probably the weakest Capital Grille experience I've had. Our server inroduced herself and said that she would be taking care of us along with another server. We never saw or met the other server. Both the lobster bisque and the chowder were served luke warm. The oysters were just OK, at $3 ea. This was the first time that no one has offered to serve the side of lobster mac & cheese to the table. Usually the staff will do this, it's always a nice touch. Coffee cups are too small and my wife never got hers refilled. All of the entrees were amazing, as always. The sliced filet, the sea bass and the big winner of the night was the Prime sirloin. Roses on the table were a nice touch for Mother's Day."

"The food and service at the Capital Grille are both well above what you'll find in most places. However, I would caution anyone going there with a group to be adamant about being seated at a large enough table. On two separate occassions I've taken a large group to this restaurant and both times we were seated at tables that were too small. The first time I had a group of 8 and we were seated at a table for 6. After I complained about it we were moved. This past Mother's day I had a party of 10 and was seated at a makeshift table for 8. That time I didn't complain about it, we just shifted one chair to the end of the table to make room. Other than that, this is a first class restaurant with fantastic food and well worth a visit."

"If would you like to make a reservation two weeks in advance and be seated at the worst table in the restaurant . This is your place! "We've eaten at a few Capital Grilles. Unfortunately this was our worst experience so far. The noise level was extremely high due to being surrounded by a large group. Then the waiter brought the wrong wine, and it was ok, but I went along with it bc of the noise level, not worth effort to explain. Also, our food did not seem as freshly prepared as I would have liked. Overall what was usually consistent for us is not as reliably consistent now based on this experience."

"Only the food lived up to expectations this time. I booked through OpenTable and left a message for that this visit was for my wife's 50th. When the waiter came to the table, instead of asking for Mr. Kelly, and then identifying the Misses, he blindly wished my sister a happy birthday. Obviously a rookie move, and things went downhill from there. No questions about whether we would like additional bread, water glasses and beverages unfilled without specific requests, when taking dinner orders said we would discuss side dishes after accepting main entree orders, but then walked away without coming back to the matter. We chased him down and he explained that some others had ordered some sides, but still... Never had bad service here before"

"The place is Outstanding! I just didn't have luck with my lobster, it was cold and with no taste at all. Unfortunately I had a bad experience! My Husband and Mother loved their food. The desert was delicious!
They were very nice to me when i didn't like my food and offered to pay our bill.
I would come back but choose another option. I don't red meat and I think their Lobster wasn't good.

"My wife and I were away from home. We had a difficult day and we were looking for a good meal, great wine, and warm, friendly, efficient service. The atmosphere was perfect. Our waitress was a delight. The food met expectations and then some. The restaurant has an excellent wine list. We chose a relatively high end wine and we were very pleased with it. The coffee and deserts equally met and exceeded our expectations. When we are back in Orlando we would go again. The restaurant is a chain and there is a location near us. We are looking forward to very soon going to this location near us and having a similarly wonderful dining experience."
