Morton's The Steakhouse, the nation's premier steakhouse group, specializes in classic, hearty fare, serving generous portions of USDA prime aged beef, as well as fresh fish, lobster and chicken entrees. "This was my first time visiting Morton's. For the price of the entrées being almost $50 per plate, you would think you would receive top service and great food. However, that was not the case.
Not child friendly:
•No Child menu~ What child is going to eat a full steak or piece of chicken.
• No changing table for infants~ They basically make it well-known that children are not welcome in that restaurant.
Bad service:
Food is not up to par:
If you are going to pay $30-$50 for an entrée it should come out like you are at Ruth Chris.
Your steaks should be sizzling and your sides hot as it is if they can write out of"

"We went to Morton's to celebrate our engagement. The staff went above and beyond to make our night memorable. The host greeted us at the door with a "Congratulations." The staff had menus printed with a special congratulations message and our names printed at the top. They also took our picture, printed it and gave us a paper card/frame with a nice message. As for the service, food, wine and overall experience those were amazing as well. Our experience that night at dinner was the best I've ever had. I highly recommend the Morton's Troy, MI location."

"My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at Morton's. The Wait Staff, Pauline and Kelley were outstanding!
I loved the personalized menu's. The food was delicious. And it was fun to celebrate with two other couples who were seated nearby and were also celebrating their wedding anniversaries.

"it was very nice however, the service was up to par nor as attentive as I thought it should be for the caliber of restaurant. Our glasses were empty many times, only one glass of wine throughout the entire dinner because the waiter never offered again and was never around. He, the waiter, seemed more interested in the parties that had more than two in them.. his loss, he only received a 20% tip when I would have given at least 30-40%. Also there was a lady taking photos of the guest at some tables and then she would give them the photo. She never offered us and I was not able to get her over to our table. I would have loved to have a photo of my daughter and me who were having a mom and daughter special weekend."

I couldn't really complain about a thing.
Oh, and if you're wondering about which steak to try, their prime rib's are the top-choice selection ... I typically go for the filet, but someone made the suggestion of prime rib to me, and I was not disappointed in the slightest."

"This was my first time dining at Morton's and I wasn't overly impressed. I don't know if I will dine at Morton's again. The service was not us to par for a fine dinning experience. The server seemed to run us threw the normal let me take your order & get you your food. He didn't come to see if we liked our steaks, mine was room temperature & cold by time I was done. I thought maybe the sever was new because of his lack of service, but he said I have been here 6 years! Some of the food was great but not fine dining."

"We were warmly greeted and escorted to our table where personalized menus were on the table congratulating my son and his fiancé on their engagement; a very nice touch. Unfortunately our server, Stacy, was not attentive as we had to request our water glasses be refilled several times, as well as our drinks. Our food was prepared to order and two of us enjoyed the mixed grill entrees, which were excellent. The Marconi and Cheese side dish was over cooked and dried out. We ordered the Morton's chocolate cake and waited and waited for our coffee. A restaurant with Morton's reputation for excellent food and service disappointed us on this special celebration evening."

"Absolute top quality meat and seafood prepared perfectly. Found the raw tuna tacos appetizer innovative and excellent. Have been there for dinner on special occasions many times and have never been disappointed.

"We've been excited to go to Morton's and we finally went for our anniversary and though they were accommodating for the special event (free dessert, picture taken) I could have made a better meal for less. Even if the food had been good, it was still overpriced. However, the steak was overcooked and lacked flavor, the cake was dry and crumbly while the frosting was too sweet. The soups were disappointing. And the mac and cheese that was recommended as a side was gritty and neither of us liked the taste. The service was slow, though they were not busy (Tuesday night)."

"Took my parents to dinner for the 30th anniversary. They loved it. The waiter was attentive to their every need and they said several times they felt very "special". I have been there many times, but my parents are not really $60 steak people (although their daughter is), they agreed it was worth every penny, which is saying a lot from two people that save every extra penny! I thought the service was fantastic, and the house red (they purchased the vineyard) is amazing... thanks Morton's... great times."
