"I've gone to Mythos at least 5 times for dinner over the past 3 years or so. I've always been been very pleased with the food and service. We usually make a reservation but most times we have gone there seems to be room for walk-ins.
Location is a bit unusual. It is in a building at the front of an apartment complex. It is right on West Chester Pike but easy to miss if you don't look carefully. But definitely worth looking.
Anyway, this is supposed to be about our visit on Sunday, April 21, 2013. There were 3 of us and we shared several small plates in addition to our dinners. The food and service were excellent as usual."

"Wow, we can't begin to tell you how fabulous this place is. We had a little trouble finding it at first, but now that we know where it is, we will be going again! The menu, food quality and prices are all outstanding. Delicious! Our server was friendly and made great suggestions. There was even live music (keyboard) playing great Greek melodies. This is a great "find" and we're telling all our friends about it."

"We have been to Mythos several times. The food on this visit was excellent as always with several fresh fish items to select from. Love the tzatziki dip & pita. The restaurant was packed on a Friday night, very lively with several large celebration parties. Mythos is consistently a great pick. Highly recomment a reservation, especially on weekends - word has gotten out! Don't forget BYOB."

"This was our second time in Mythos. The food was not as impressive as the first time, or perhaps we just ordered the "wrong" items. The roasted red peppers with feta fill were extremely acidic/vinegary. The grilled octopus from the hot appetizer menu was very good though, and so were the mussels with tomato sauce.
Several items from the menu were not available. For instance, we asked for ekmek for dessert and the waitress said they do make it, but they were out that day."

"We had high expectations based on other reviews, but we were very disappointed in Mythos. The food was just so-so, nothing special. The "jumbo lump" crabcakes were 4 small cakes of mostly filler - don't order crabcakes in a Greek restaurant! The salads came out and were okay, but the entrees arrived only minutes later - goofy. My special lamb shank was the worst lamb shank I have had anywhere, and was really small. The "rack of lamb" was five pre-cut lamb chops; it may have been a rack of lamb at one time, but was not cooked or served that way. On a Saturday night, it was just half-full so it is certainly not over-whelmed with patrons. We have no plans to go back again."

"We are English and haven't been in the US long. We've struggled to find European cuisine such as Greek in our area so we thought we'd give Mythos a go. It wasn't bad but having experienced a lot of Greek food, and especially in Greece - it was a bit of a disappointment. We've had better hummus and skordalia in the past. The meat platter main course wasn't bad but not spectacular. We would like to see a mixed meze starter of hot and cold dishes as this is always the best part of a Greek meal.
In summary, if you've not tried Greek before then we do recommend as it is a taster of what Greek food is like. The restaurant is not in the centre of West Chester, on West Chester Pike it's a bit of a drive out but worth it for something different."

"We went to Mythos for the first time Saturday (5:30) evening. Found both the food and service to be very good. By 6 pm the place was very busy, but the service remain very good. We don't know a lot about Greek food but our waiter, Mike, was very helpful in explaining the food and making choices. Had to take some food home. Look forward to going back."

"As always, Mythos never fails to deliver an enjoyable evening. The staff is polit and attentive, the atmosphere is relaxing and the Greek food is authentic.... You can have a light bite or a full meal. I prefer weekdays since it is a little less hectic. But that being said, even with a full house on the weekends, the meal is prepared and presented without issues. The staff knows how to handle volume."

"Went to Mythos for Valentine's day 2013. My wife got a shrimp dish, which she really enjoyed, and I got a sampler (4 items) which was also delicious -- included Moussaka, Pastichio, Spinach Pie, and some beef/lamb strips (can't remember the name). Also delicious, and quite large. Soup and side were also included, at a reasonable price of $20 a plate. I could only eat about half of the sampler, so my leftover box provided another quite hearty meal the next day. My only complaint was that I had a $10 off coupon which they would not honor because it was Valentine's day. The coupon itself didn't say "not valid on holidays" but there was a handwritten sign about not accepting coupons that day, posted at the entrance."

"We were very excited to try Mythos for the first time this past Saturday night. It lived up to our expectations. The layout, the ambiance, the service and the food all lived up to our expectations. While a bit of a splurge, you must try the Octopus appetizer and the Lamb Chop specials. Both are worth the price and delicious. The traditional greek "pikilia" sampler platter was also excellent. We will return very soon"

"We had dinner on Saturday evening. We were greeted promptly and led to our table. Our waiter did a great job. The food reminded us of some of the places we had eaten in Greece. We both had fish and it was well prepared. The crab meat stuffing on the grouper special seemed a little heavy on filler and light on crab. This isn't "Greek Gourmet." It is good Greek food with plenty of olive oil, lemon and oregano. Mythos is a nice change of pace and we will be back,"

"What a great surprise! We were just out & did a "Find a Table"" search & chose Mythos. We can't wait to go back & try it for dinner!
