"Restaurant located in a beautiful bal Harbor mall. Besides the location I can't say anything nice. The service was so so and the good was terrible. We ordered escargots, mussels and trout. Everything was tasteless. We could not finish. My advice go to carpaccio."

"Hostess distracted, not smiling nor warm. Had reservations, but wanted inside. Went to bar for drink, bartender NEVER took our order or looked at us. Returned to hostess who apologized about our experience at the bar. Tables open inside, a group of pshy women, which arrived after us without reservations, seated outside, moved to an inside table , we still waiting. Brought this to the hostess' attention, apologized again, she said, "The manager does this all the time." Really? She said something to the manager who never smiled nor spoke to us, now taken to our table inside. Service just not there for this type of restaurant, customer not that important, it seems. Food was good (mussels, trout almondine, chocolate profiteroles)."

"excellente excellente! incredible food, delicious every morsel..couldn't stop saying OMG after every bite. Comfortable booths...the bread is so delicious and the carpaccio with the truffle oil and the burrata....so fabulous...(this is what we tried!) what we ate was actually Italian...we had yet to try the French part of this french cuisine restaurant.....next time perhaps....got another coupon for this wonderful find! thank you for introducing us to this place Open Table!"

"We made a reservation for Valentine's Day and had a good time there. The profiterole is delicious! But we became very disappointed when they told us they were out of teas and waffles on that day. Next time I'll go to Carpaccio, right in front of La Goulue. At least I know they always have Carpaccio there."

"Superb, tasty top notch French cuisine. Indoors is a brasserie type decorand there is plenty of outdoor patio seating. Service was spotty, but that is usually always a problem in restaurants where the tip is included in the check."

"Great food . Nice outdoor seating. Great service. They went out of their way to make my wife's birthday an excellent experience. The host was accommodating to a seating request and very personable. A complimentary dessert with a sparkler was a great touch and conclusion to an excellent evening at La Goulue."

"On the last night of our long weekend in Miami, my family and I had the pleasure of dining at La Goulue. Aside from the fine service we received, it was really great for my wife and I to enjoy the great french selection of appetizers/courses for adults while our four year old daughter had wonderful simple choices from the children's menu as well. Visiting Miami and dining at La Goulue were two firsts for us, but it will not be our last. Highly Recommend!"

"I had their trout almondine, which was exceptional. Their onion soup is excellent. Our salads were delicious and chock full of veggies. The desserts were wonderful. The service, ambiance and food make this restaurant a WINNER!!"

"My birthday celebration was absolutely perfect! My two daughters and I had a reservation but had to wait approximately 15 minutes as the place was extemely full. We ordered pink champagne by the glass. it was cold, delicious and surprisingly a large quantity. Our eclectic cravings were satisfied with the Chef's superb fois gras, a hot dish of escargot adorned with mini puff pastry, a scrumptious Croque Madame with egg atop and the beef carpaccio plate accented with truffle oil. Our server was well informed and had impeccable timing. Believe me, I will not wait another year to go back!!"

"We have had one of the best Easter lunch ever, great food and service we enjoyed the special lamb dish, nice bottle of rosé wine and macaroons with ice cream to die for. Service has notably improved here lately .. The only issue with their manager short Bonaparte look a like Russian guy never smiles and always rude.
Also notice to Bal Harbour shops why are you close on Easter......"

"We've eaten here several times and have never been disappointed in the food or service. Eating outside is fun, but the indoor seating area, including the bar, is quite pleasant. by the way, they make good Bloody Marys. La Goulue been a wonderful addition to the repetoire of Bal Harbour eateries."

"I don't think people appreciate this restaurant enough. They always line up for the restaurant next door (Carpaccio) where the food is mediocre at best. Granted, La Goulue is probably a bit pricier, but the food is SO much better, it is worth a few more $$s. I would recommend the trout, if you like fish. It is prepared perfectly. I also split a first course and a dessert with my dining companion and they didn't have any problem with that. The restaurant was busy, but the service was quick. They did NOT rush us however; instead, telling us we could take as long as we liked. I like to sit outside and people watch, even though it is a parking lot. The downside is they allow smoking outside, so beware if this is an issue for you."

"Could not have asked for a better place for a romantic V Day dinner. Our feeling was that we were teleported to Paris. The bistro look and feel, the French wait staff, the French speaking patrons surrounding us, it was amazing! The wine selection is by far one of the best we have seen in Florida, and it works well with food pairing. The food was very tasty and not in the usual minimalistic portion sizes of high-end eateries. Great service. Will definitely recommend to friends and family."
