"Took my cousin, the sushi fanatic, here. We hadn't seen each other in a while, so it was nice that it wasn't too loud, so we could catch up. The selection of food, and sake, was outstanding. Looking forward to going again."

"A reasonable place to eat, in an over-priced neighborhood. The tables are small, but in an open space, where you feel you're sitting outside. The service was very attentive to our needs, and the food was quite good. We both had fish that was fresh and done perfectly. Unless you want sushi, which we didn't, the menu is limited. The sister Amber on the west side is more expansive. The traffic noise is noticable, but not too deafening. A good find!"

"This place is really great for food, but a tad overpriced. It is listed as $$, but should be $$$. Overall it was a good experience. I sat by the window and it was not as noisy."

"Good neighborhood sushi spot with a few different locations in NYC. I prefer this one to the one in Kips Bay. A little pricey for a neighborhood spot though"

"Although the food was good, and the atmosphere nice, I won't return soon, because the value is lacking. $22.00 for a sushi entree is reasonable, but usually you also get soup (or salad) and tea included. By the time I paid for my soup at 3.95 and tea at 3.50 my meal was close to $30. That's more than I would ordinarily pay for what is actually a local sushi place. I will say that the tea was better than most standard places, though."
