"I went here for fathers day and the service was prompt and the food was very tasty. I loved sitting outside right by the harbor. The meat tapas were cooked very well and I would go back again. My only suggestion would be to offer more drinks without alcohol."

"Laughably poor service and mediocre food. Drinks took 25m. Came simultaneously with food. Failed to deliver an entire flight of the tapas. Loud, impersonal, completely disorganized."

"If you’re looking for shopping mall quality “Spanish tapas”, this is the restaurant to try. I put Spanish tapas in quotes because this restaurant should be ashamed of itself for advertising their food as anything but reheated, frozen nonsense with a variety of sauces. This place is seriously atrocious.
The only reason I am rating my overall experience at La Tasca as fair is due to how my husband and I had our complaints addressed. The instant resolution we were offered was to pay only for the courses we found edible. My husband and I were shocked to receive such a substantial discount with very little negotiation. I imagine this sort of thing happens often but it will NEVER happen to us again."

"My boyfriend and I first found this restaurant for our 6 month anniversary and absolutely loved it. They're prices for Happy Hour are awesome, great for struggling college students like us. I would recommend La Tasca in a second."

"We have eaten at La Tasca before and enjoyed our meals, so it seemed like a good option for Mother's Day. Maybe not. Our reservation was for 4:30; perhaps the kitchen was by that time exhausted. When our tapas arrived, we realized after the server had left that he had not brought the children's hamburger ordered for our 4-year-old. We chased someone down to request the hamburger. Then we realized that they had brought the wrong kind of skewer. After about 20 minutes for the hamburger and fries appeared; the seafood skewer emerged after we had ordered dessert. The waitress was flustered and very apologetic, but apparently at the mercy of the kitchen staff. Still, dessert was delicious and the view was good, so we ended on a positive note."

"Went here for a quiet romantic evening. There was prime seating available on a Friday night with resevations. Waitstaff was professional. Food was quick."

"Great spot on the harbor right in front on the USS Constitution, with a nice view. Attempts at real Spanish tapas are inconsistent. The patatas bravas looked good enough, with the right amount of browning but were not cooked through. Tortilla served a bit too cold and with mayonnaise, lettuce and tomato in between two slices as though it were a sandwich. Crab underneath the scallops was terrible, don't know what was in there."

"This was our first visit to La Tasca. Very impressed. We arrived a little before our reservation. They offered a table to us, but when we decided to wait for our reservation, they sat us at the bar and gave us a complimentary cocktail. The food was muy delicioso, our service was fantastic. Our waiter Tommy, took good care of us. We highly recommend La Tasca and can't wait for our next visit to Baltimore and La Tasca!"

"A couple of tapas were overcooked - particularly the pork. But, on overall, the tapa experience was very good. I would have rated the food higher except for the overcooked pork. Good experience, but one I would reserve for a special occasion. The spinach salad (Ensalada Espinacus) and strip steak (Buey a la Plancha) were excellent as were several other individual tapas. The shrimp tapas (Gambas al Ajillo and Brochete de Gambas y Vieiras) were very good also. We did the Easter special of unlimited tapas for $30, so did not actually look at overall menu. I did, however, have about 15 tapsa. There is a La Tasca closer to me in Washington DC which I will probably eat at again."

"Excellent food. This is the third time I have been to La Tasca and thry never cease to amaze me with their food. I went with my significant other for the Easter Sunday unlimited tapas for $30 a person and we had endless, fantastic food for an excellent price. Did I mention dessert was included?"

"We went to this restaurant in Great Britian and couldn't wait to go to the one here. While the food was comparable, the service was TERRIBLE!! The wait staff clearly would have preferred that they not have to wait on tables and had trouble with English. We had to get our own fresh plates that are usually on the table at a tapas place. One of the cooks kept coming in and out of the kitchen wearing a Fogo de Chao chef's coat. This restaurant is across the street! The bartender had to seat us as there was no one at the hostess desk. When we left, the staff was all near the front door wrapping silverware and no one said a word when we left."

"Not good service. Waiting time for normal order is more than 20 min. Then no body came to ask anything. We wanted to order more and because of these worst service, we had whatever we ordered and left. Worst service that I've never seen."

"We've been dining at La Tasca for 4.5 yrs. It use to be great, but it has changed drastically over the past couple of years. The portions are much smaller, yet the prices are the same or higher. The quality has suffered. The special "cherry blossom sangria" tastes awful. The once delicious cheesy bread was a tough, dry, bready mess. The tres leches cake is still great but half the size it use to be. Definitely won't be returning."

"Enjoyed dinner very much. Food came out very quickly, and was tasty. While we were late for our reservation, we called ahead, and the restaurant was great about holding our table. The tapas-style menu is great for sharing, so would definitely recommend for small and large groups. Many of the tables look out on the inner-harbor, and we enjoyed the view we had. While service was overall very good, there were a few points when diners at the table were ready to order another drink and it took some effort to get our server's attention. Having said that, this is a minor nit, as service was solid, and our server was otherwise quite attentive. Diners at our table really enjoyed the sangria. Wine list was decent."

"We had a nice dinner out at La Tasca. Our server wasn't as pleasant as she could be but she did take our order and checked in on us occasionally. Our water glasses were never refilled and we had to ask about getting our other drinks refilled. Other than that, it was a nice night out!"

"La Tasca has an excellent view of the harbor. It also has abundant outdoor seating which I'm sure is very pleasant in the spring. Service was friendly and prompt. I had the pork belly, which was good, but I wish it had more apple and less onion with it. The Brussels sprouts were very cheesy and well-prepared (not bitter as Brussels sprouts can be). I also had the octopus, which comes with potatoes. The potatoes were a little bland, but the octopus was good (which is the important part, after all)."

"Lovely view of the Inner Harbor from this restaurant which is located on the 2nd floor of the Pratt Street Pavilion of Harborplace mall. Food was just average. Fried eggplant chips were dissappintingly greasy and soggy although the dip they came with was okay. Lamb kebob was overdone. Scallops, jumbo shrimp, and paella were pretty good."

"Excellent small plated tapas, good for sharing. We especially enjoyed the small portion of paella and the eggplant "chips" with dipping sauce. Restaurant overlooks the inner harbor and has a glassed in porch which would be lots of fun in good weather. Hard to gauge the noise level as it was uncrowded (probably due to bad weather)."

"We got a lovely table overlooking the harbor. Very romantic. Many interesting varieties of Sangria; we tried a delightful peach Sangria. The 2 of us shared 7 different tapas. all were very good. Less inspiring were the desserts. Service was prompt. All in all, a very enjoyable evening."
