"Excellent service. Our server was knowledgeable about the wines and individual dishes. Her suggestions were good; food very, very tasty. I'll go back again and again."

"The food was very good and the selection was very large, but our waiter was inattentive and was difficult to understand. A meal that should have taken an hour and a half stretched to almost two and a half hours because our waiter disappeared after the entree. It got to the point where we had to get up to find someone to give us the check."

"One of the best Indian meals I've ever had in my life. I usually judge an Indian restaurant by the quality of their biryani, and that was the best biryani I've ever had or at least one of the best. My girlfriend ordered Chicken Makhani which was unbelievably good! We are definitely coming back to this restaurant!"

"Jaipur is one of our family's favorite restaurants in the city. The food is always amazing- so rich and flavorful. Everyone is so nice there. The decor is very inviting."

"This place is grossly overpriced, offers small portions, and has mediocre service. The waitstaff was less than attentive, placed food and drink on the table very hastily, and I didn't feel like a welcome guest.
On the positive side, the food was pretty good, the restaurant was comfortable to be in."

"It's a nice place in the West Loop, which boasts of a variety of cuisines. I went there for a team lunch and found it rather pleasant. The lunch special is probably a great option to go for since they provide you with a good chunk of Indian dishes, vegetarian and chicken. If you're ordering an entree, they will ask you how spicy you'd like it to be; go for the medium. It just has a bit of a tangy taste and is not spicy at all! The only reason Jaipur gets 3 stars from me is that the service wasn't up to par. There was one host managing 5 tables with about 7/8 people at each of them and 2 waiters. Lack of coordination meant sauces went missing, soups unserved, refills forgotten. Will go back for the food; definitely a nice place to try out"

"We went with a group of 7- having no idea what to expect except for a few Yelp reviews, and we had a really great time. Surprisingly great food, helpful and energetic server, and great drinks for a very modest price. We can't wait to visit again!"

"This place has very good food. I am not very familiar with Indian dishes but I know good taste when I... taste it. We had their bread with cucumber dip, Lamb Chops, Masalla Sauce as well as Peanut Curry Sauce (delicious!). Quick service and attentive staff! Quite pricy but that was to be expected in this neighborhood. If you care for the look and feel of a restaurant - they could do a better job with decorating the place - it seems somewhat random."

"Jaipur is quiet and romantic, qualities that have all but disapppeared from the Chicago restaurant scene. We had a special occasion, and our group enjoyed cocktails and present opening in the lounge area before moving to the dining room. Our service was tip top throughout our very relaxed and unrushed stay. Diner was delicious and we thought the tandoori was way above average. We will definitely be back again!"

"I have not had the most positive experiences at Indian restaurants in the past, because of my aversion to very hotly spiced food. At Jaipur, my tastes were accommodated and everything, and I mean everything, was absolutely delicious. Definitely a place to return to in the West Loop!"

"I wish if service was more timely and better. They forgot bringing our appetizer for very long time and brought it in the end. They also were running out of few items. However, food was good and had enough varieties."

"The ambiance was very nice and our service was fairly attentive. I was diappointed in the food. I have had the pleasure of dining in Indian restaurants from the low end to the high end of the scale and though it seems Jaipur is aiming for more high end, the food missed its mark. Our CTM had a very odd smoky flavor, which I think may have been artificial smoke flavor, the dal was just ok, nothing to rave about, samosas were your standard and the naan was fairly good. Not sure that I will be coming back."
