"After a wonderful wedge lettuce salad and steak dinner, our waitress brought a great warm chocolate chip cookie with ice cream and 2 candles. It was a nice surprise and we really enjoyed it, The service was somewhat lacking. We had to wait a long time for drink refills and had to ask for bread when our meal was half gone. I just happen to see the next table get some and asked for ours. We would go back, though because the food was so good."

"Joe & I had a wonderful experience celebrating our 40th ann. File Mignon was tender and tasty..baked potato was delicious and brocolli was cooked just right. The shrimp was very tender. The waitresss, Jennifer was attentive and your staff treated us to a Cowboy Cookie, ice cream and sang to us. We live in the Corona area and miss Black Angus there!"

"We went for our anniversary and had a very nice dinner. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere which allowed us to talk without yelling! My filet was tender and very tasty and good size portion (so I had enough for a salad for lunch the next day, YUM). The crunchy shrimp were good. My dinner salad was big, but my husband polished off his and mine. All in all was a very nice evening."

"The food quality was fair at best. I ordered a filet mignon and received something of a much lesser quality. (I doubt that it was filet mignon.) The drinks were much to expensive for what was served. I have liked the Black Angus Steakhouse in the past, but your quality now leaves a lot to be desired."

"We dined here on a Friday night. We had a reservation at 5:45 - and got a nice booth away from the traffic flow of the restaurant. Very surprised to see how packed it was by the time we left after dinner. Service and food were excellent, prices reasonable, with several items on special. Like this Black Angus, wish there was one in Escondido!"

"we were celebrating our wedding anniversary so when we got our appetizers and we were done came our salad and as soon as we were done eating that our dinner took like 25 min to get our table i had never waited so long for dinner and it wasnt busy"

"My Prime Rib was cooked just right, and possibly the most tender in recent years of eating at steak restaurants. All items on my plate was hot (yay!)so service was expedient and very friendly."

"My wife and I come here pretty regularly this last visit though the food and drinks where a little off. I got my mojito without any lime in it so it was just booze and soda water. After that was fixed and the food came out I could tell my plate sat awhile waiting for my steak the onion rings were only warm on the outside and the mashed potatoes had that weird discolored shell on them that they get when they have sat out to long in the air. The steak was very good at least. For my wife her prime rib was very dry. We would have talked to the server about the food but it was very busy and we didn't get to a chance. The food was passable for the most part so we ate and left. We will still be back be back because we know this isn't typical"

"My husband and I went to have a nice dinner on Wednesday for the primerib and mudcake. The waiter we had was the worst ever. He asked us for our drink order which was a diet pepsi and an ice tea..it took him at least 15 minutes to serve our drinks. Then it took 30 minutes before he brought out the bread and then other 10 minutes before he brought our soup and salad. Finally we received our main course. He didn't even refill our drinks we had to keep on asking for refills. It would be understanding if the place was crazy busy but it was't it. Just wanted to have a nice enjoying dinner with my husband by having a horrible waiter it totally ruined my evening. Will think twice before going if this kind of service persist."

"There's a nice ambiance with the tall booth design of the restaurant. It buffers sounds of a busy popular dinner house and gives a warm romantic feel. The prime rib was very good and was cooked just right. We also liked that the booth tables do move so you can have more room if you need it."

"The steak was a little to "pink" in the middle, but everything else food wise was good. The waitress came around in the beginning, but didn't really see her when we were eating."

"This visit wasn't as good as previous experiences we have had here. Maybe it was because it was such a busy day. Our server wasn't very friendly, and seemed like he really didn't want to be there. My steak was over cooked, and for forking out $100, I wasn't real happy. But as I said before, previous visits were much better, and though this visit wasn't really up to par, we will be back and would still recommend it."

"The service was okay, but that's all. The steaks were cut strangely, so parts of my ribeye was 1/4" thick varying up to 3/4" thick. As a result, most of the steak was over-cooked. The rest of the meal was fine, but when you're steak is poor, kinda ruins the meal. Didn't see the server for 10 minutes after we were served and we had somewhere to go after dinner, so we just ate the over-cooked steaks."
