"I am not into online reservations, but I am so glad I took the chance to do it for Black Angus. It was so simple and took no longer than a min. I liked the immediate email confirmation and the phone call the day of the reservation. I requested a table for a wheel chair and the table was perfect. Thanks for your easy and efficient reservations."

"My family and I have been going to this Black Angus off/on for about 30 years. You can bet that 9 out of 10 times it’s all good. Very rarely is there a problem with the food and they have some pretty stellar servers with obvious experience. Unfortunately, on this night, the service was lacking. Although very nice and affable, the service was slow, and the server a bit dingy. We will continue to patronize this establishment. However, unless you don’t mind waiting and correcting your server (more than once) I would hesitate going anytime on or near a holiday. This, it seems, is when the less than stellar servers are scheduled in force."

"The serving staff was excellent and very good at offering extras, but won't tell you about the extra cost unless you catch it, so be careful or you'll find surprise extra charges on your bill and then wonder how your bill got so high! I give big kudos for that. The only thing I frowned on was making sure my drink was okay. I had to ask to get a refill as my glass was very empty and needed a drink badly. However, it was minor, but I would return again. Oh, and the parking is terrible. I had to park in a different lot across the way."

"We love the Campfire Feast. We usually choose the Wagon Wheel appetizer, pick 2 steaks and our 2 sides each, and then either the Fudge Cake or the Mud Pie. We always leave happy and often take some food home. Making a reservation online ahead is helpful. The manager often comes by to see how everything is going and is very friendly."

"Your lunch menu said to ask for gluten-free options. When I asked, the waitress was clueless saying something about the grilled cheese sandwich on the child's menu. I
mentioned it to the hostess on the way out, to educate their wait staff. I ordered what I thought was a good gluten free choice, which was salmon with 2 side kicks of fresh vegetables, but you never know how it is prepared. Also many good salad selections. Was great for our group of 6. Found a very quiet corner table and stayed for 2 hours. Highly recommend"

"My family made a reservation to done there on Easter. I ordered chicken, which was tasty, my oldest granddaughter ordered a chicken sandwich and said it was delicious. My husband and daughter ordered top sirloin. My daughter said hers was inedible. She said it was dry and flavorless and seemed to be a cheap cut of meat. My husband drowns his with steak sauce. My daughter was offered a free dessert, which was nice. This was the first time in years she has dined there. She probably will not order a steak next time. The waitress was very friendly but busy, and there were no busboys offering to refill drinks."

"OUTSTANDING service! From bus boy or girl to the floor manager, every single employee gave 100% in ensuring everyone's experience was top notch.
In particular our waitress, Dawn E (Chk #1633 Tbl 55/1), was exceptional. We were there celebrating my son's birthday with his family. This included a five and one year old. Dawn interacted equally with everyone, despite having multiple tables - her attentiveness was perfect. Knowledge of the specials, what the menu offered, and other suggestions she gave were also greatly appreciated.
I didn't catch the name of the male manager that evening. His professionalism was also noteworthy. Sincere greeting at the door, multi-tasking with a smile, never looked rush and never stood still. :)"

"The overall experience was good.
My meal was sub-par when compared to Outback or Loanstar. The sqaw bread was warm and soft and tasty. The salad was mostly yellow iceberg lettuce with decent Ranch dressing. The prime rib was suppose to be medium and had no pink and very little flavor unless dipped in the Au Jus sauce. It looked like it was reheated in the microwave. The steamed Broccoli could also have used some seasoning to give it more flavor.
My wife's meal of the Top Sirloin and green beans with a potato was excellent and made me wish I had ordered it instead of the Prime Rib. The mud pie for desert was great and just the right size to share.
The best part of the meal was our server Linda. She was outstanding! Very attentive at fi"

"The service was the best part of our dining experience (Dawn was our waitress. She was very friendly and provided fast courteous service. There was a great amount of food for your money. Steak was cooked to perfection. Seafood (shrimp and lobster) was only cooked "fair". Both lobster and shrimp had more of a translucent texture with crispy edges. In my opinion shellfish is best cooked until opaque and consistent throughout."

"Steak soup was a little salty. However, I was warned before I ordered it, that other customers had said that was salty, but since I like salty, but I enjoyed it. My suggestion would be to add some potates to the soup, it may take that salty taste away. My only real negative comment on the soup is that I got only one tiny, tiny piece of steak the rest was carrots. Looking back, I wished I had order the broccoli for my other side."

"We were told that Linda would be in the restaurant later; but come to find out it was only 15 minutes later. I would have waited for her service, but instead got a waitress with a smug look on her face and lacked personality. This experience left us feeling as though we were let down. We spoke with the Manager and he mentioned that he had told someone to call and let us know that Linda would be available at 5:15pm; if we would have known this, we would have waited the additional 15 minutes for an evening of excellent service. We do also like the manager since he is always courteous and accommodating to our needs."
