Perch Pub
Perch Pub offers patrons a perfect spot to kick back and 'roost', in comfort, above Broad and Locust Streets with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Philadelphia's Avenue of the Arts. With a menu of delicious American-inspired comfort food, Perch is a relaxed, unpretentious pub. The interior has a timeless feel, with rich mahogany finishes and exposed brick and metal beams. In addition to boasting one of the best birds-eye views in the city for people watching, the pub offers separate areas for a pool table and dart board and features additional amenities including a juke box, HDTV's and a large drop-down projection screen in the main dining room for watching major sports events. The Perch has a broad selection of fourteen craft beers on tap, an extensive bottle and can list (104 entries and growing), as well as full bar featuring a prominent selection of bourbons, whiskeys, and Scotches (including house-infusions).

"Went on a Saturday afternoon and really enjoyed it. I liked that you could choose from both the brunch and regular menus. Food was delicious and service was great. Loved sitting near the windows overlooking Broad Street, a perfect spot to show visitors a little piece of how vibrant Philadelphia can be."

"This is where my husband I meet before the Orchestra. The service is friendly and reasonably quick and the food fresh and good. They have many beers on tap which they rotate daily. Last night my husband had they lamb burger special and I had the mahi mahi special with julianned vegetables. It was the best meal we've had there to date."

"Good location for before and after the theater, this was my third visit becaus eof loaction, extensive beer selections, food is standard, would reccomend the grill meatloaf entree if you are a meat eater. Had the Mahi Mahi special that night, bland and pretty tasteless dish. I would say that this is more of a sandwich place."

"The location, right across the street from the Academy of Music, makes this a great place for lunch before or after a show. Not a super-extensive menu, but a good variety of sandwiches, burgers, salads, entrees. I had the soup-of-the day, which was a velvety butternut squash, scented with sage, & it was divine! The Mediterranean sandwich was a winner, too, & served w/ mixed greens, was enough to take half home for the next day. The view down Broad Street for tables in the front is a bonus."

"My husband & I went to Perch Pub after going to the Walnut Street Theatre. It was a beautiful day out and we thought we go somewhere new. What a find it was, we will definitely go back!!! Our waitress, Melissa was wonderful:-)
I had the 'Mediterranean Melt' which included grilled eggplant & squash, caramelized onions, roasted peppers, carrots & spinach with melted cheese on a foccocia/ciabatta roll. This was absolutely wonderful, I loved it:-) My husband had the 'Apple Salad' with arugula, apples, candied walnuts, blue cheese, red onions, with a light vinaigrette drsg. with a whole chicken breast added to it. He also really, liked it. We both started with the soup of the day which was Potato Leek, which we both thoroughly enjoyed. Thank"

"I checked the menu online before going. I was intrigued by the soft pretzels and wanted to try them. But when I arrived for lunch they were not available. So on my second visit I again wanted to try them. This time I couldn't get them cause it was brunch and they aren't on the brunch menu. Then to add insult to injury, as I was eating my brunch, I could smell the pretzels cooking! The smell permeated the entire restaurant! Sorry, but I will go somewhere else in the future. Somewhere where I can order what is on the menu when I want to eat it."

"We went there before a theater performance. The menu was fun, the beer list was incredible, and our waitress was as nice as could be. Helpful, but not intrusive. Cheerful. Our table overlooked Broad Street and the feel of the city on a cold January night was just great.Plus their coffee is outstanding. Wish that they sold it. Would go there again for sure!"
