"We came for my husbands 60th and we didn't even tell the waitress but she must have heard us because she came with the birthday cookie and ice cream and they sang Happy Birthday to him. That was very Nice. Food was excellent and so was the service. Haven't been there in years and we will be back more often."

"Never a disappointment! I have always had a pleasant experience at BA--loyal customer since 1995, age of 16. We love spending our date nights there. Sunday was Easter so the kids joined us and want to return this weekend. They loved it! So there you have it, customers now and in the future! Thanks!"

"The process works well, they were ready for us and seated us immediatly. The order taker was knowledgable and attentive, treating us well. He made eye contact smiled, and made light conversation. The food was the only negative, one prime rib as served rare not medium and it was warm not hot when returned. The steak another person had was chewy and had a lot of fat on it. The salads, Au potatos, and cheesecake were excellent."

"From the moment we walked in and said we had a reservation, we were treated very well. The restaurant was busy so food service took a little longer, but nothing to complain about. It was the night before Valentine's Day, so we expected worse and were pleasantly surprised. Our server was engaging and helpful with our orders and consistently apologized for delays, which we assured him was not necessary. We took advantage of a package dinner dear. We were very happy with the available options, the food was delicious, cocktail was yummy, and the service was very nice."

"The service was very timely and courteous. Four of eight had the Prime Rib and Prawns. We thought the Prime Rib was wonderful; however, the prawns were VERY disappointing. Tiger shrimp would have described them best. I have eaten at the Ventura Black Angus were the Prawns were a meal alone. Overall, the family enjoyed the venue and certainly would return.
The server and staff were highly efficient considering my party was delayed but the restaurant was very prepared for our large party."

"My husband & I go to Black Angus often. We love their selections on the menue.
The high booth's are so nice for privacy and if it is a busy night, helps the noise level which is pretty good.

"We arrived late in Montclair for our reservation on Valentine's Day, but we were still seated promptly even with many guests waiting to be seated that arrived before us. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. The food was outstanding! Steaks were served at correct temperature and the timing of our foods arriving at our table was perfect. Overall, Black Angus still stands out as one of the best dining experiences, formal or casual, lunch or dinner."

"We were given a table ASAP. Food seems to always take a while. My fish was under cooked and my soup was totally forgotten. Server had a great attitude and his accepting humble attitude made a difference for me to still leave a 20% tip. Manager passed by and asked how food was and I said "mmmmmm" and it really surprised me he did not take the time to ask how he could satisfy my needs so looks poorly on his impression of not wanting nor having time to satisfy me and my family."
