Clementine likes to tell a story using food. Sometimes the story is a history lesson, sometimes it features the latest culinary trend and, usually, its a mixture of both.
We change our dinner menu daily, using local and seasonal ingredients as much as possible, make our own charcuterie and, in general, offer fabulous food and drinks for not so much dinero.
Our award-winning bar offers a rotating, hand-picked selection of unusual (and exceptional) boutique wines, craft beers and artisanal spirits. We even offer retail wine sales during open hours! Sunday, too!!!

"As always, dining at Clementine was a pleasure. My husband and I have dinner here about twice a month. The menu changes daily, which means we can always try something new. The wine list has very reasonable prices, but if you go on a Thursday they have great specials. On our last trip to Clementine we decided to skip a main dinner and work our way through the appetizers. We started with their own pate and worked our way through oysters, scallops, meatloaf sliders, and finished with rabbit. What a delight! Always looking forward to our next visit."

"We had been to Clementine a year ago and the food and service were very good. We went back for a return visit and it was awful. It took an hour for our food to be served and when it came to the table it was cold. When we sent it back to the kitchen they warmed it up but only returned with half of the breakfast potatoes. They were very skimpy on the one strawberry they served with the waffles as well. Definitely not returning!"

"Outstanding from the staff, food and knowledge. This was our first visit to Clementine and it definitely will not be the last. We had a reservation, but we decided to stay at the bar. Our bartenders were attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and the variety of beer, wine & liquors that they offer. The manager also checked on us on multiple occasions and made us feel very welcome. We are already looking forward to our next visit and we plan on bringing our friends."

"Returned because of our 1st family breakfast experience was enjoyable and positive. Great food, good portions, nice charm, friendly and attentive server staff. Grits are spectacular and the chorizo omelet was very tasty. Really enjoy the coffee since it is better than the known coffee chain store pushers."

"Had a great dinner on a recent Thursday. It was half priced wine night as well! Toddler made friends in the play area and he loved the generous portion of macaroni and cheese (that I also helped him eat...it was sooooo good). Will return to try brunch. It is close to our home and may become our go-to place for dinner."

"Had a fabulous experience on 5/4. Food was great as always and our server was excellent. I don't know here name but this is the second time in a row she has been our server and she is pleasant, enthusiastic but sincere, attentive but not intrusive, and generally makes for a great dining experience. We were the 4-top closest to the doorway in the side dining room if that helps identify her but she's fabulous!"

"As an appetizer, we ordered the roasted oysters which were delicious. For the entree, we ordered the Roseda rib-eye. It was flavorful, but very fatty, and the seasoning was over-loaded with salt.They were out of the bread pudding, which was our dessert choice. I found it odd tat they would be ut of their dessrt specialty. We would consider this restaurant again, but would order fish."

"Clementine always comes up with fare that's different, and usually delightful. We particularly enjoyed the turkey/sausage/bean soup and the duck breast salad. The monkfish was tasty, but could have used a more generous side portion--two small chunks of potato and a couple of asparagus spears left the plate looking sparse. Dessert (yellow cake with peanut butter and chocalate frostings) was delicious, but it seemed odd that the only options were three kinds of cake and a cheesecake. Clementine's ambiance is fun and a bit funky--and a bit noisy on a Saturday night; it may be somewhat quieter in the second dining room. Overall, a pleasant dining experience for a casual night out!"

"This was not our first visit to Clementine. The staff was gracious and helpful, and our server, Emily, took care to keep things moving without pressure. "Clementine has a consistently interesting menu. The appetizers were particularly attractive, so we made a dinner of charcuterie, mussels, pork belly and oyster appetizers. Being Wednesday night also meant that pints of Tell Tale Ale were $3. This unusual dinner was perfect for us. With free, easy on-street parking this makes for a stress-free outing. The restaurant isn't fancy but service is good and the food always enjoyable."

"After many recommendations from friends we finally got to try Clementine's and we were not disappointed. Don't be intimidated by the bold choices we were a party of four and everyone got a different dish and everyone went away happy. Try the duck sliders if they are on the menu!"

"We've been to Clementine several times with a variety of different friends --it was a hit will all of them. This weekend we took my parents -- and they loved it as well. A very inventive menu (my mother had the rabbit and pappardelle) with a great variety in entrees -- from a mouth-watering ribeye to a vegetarian cous cous. Our server Brandi was terrific as well. Eight thumbs up!"

"This is a wonderful find with a varied and interesting menu. Our group of 9 people ordered a fairly extensive sampling from the lunch and brunch menus, including a vegetarian soup and the Elvis Presley Belgian Waffle! Each dish was superb. The house-made sausage was unbelievable--not only the regular sausage, but also the day's special, which was a chorizo hash made with sweet potatoes. The seasonings were flavorful and fresh and unique.
The decor was relaxed and intriguing and the service was excellent. It seemed that we waited a bit for our meals to arrive, but they were well worth waiting for, and one is reminded by the menu that food is prepared fresh on site. I highly recommend Clementine!"

Her recommendations were wonderful and our food was amazing. The one glitch was that the kitchen was not able to keep up with orders in a timely fashion. Emily apologized, kept us informed of progress, but the wait was still long. The manager delivered his apologies, gave us crudités to munch on and covered our drinks. We all forgave the delay and appreciated the personal attention they gave us. We will be back soon!"

"This review is based on this one encounter. I had been there before with better experience. This time I was part of a larger party, and the service was disappointing. There were several times where we had to flag down the waiter - at one point we asked another waiter for bread, which was delivered much more promptly, but the bread was cold. We had to wait quite a long time for for our main course as well. For what it's worth, our party was satisfied with most of the food - if there was anything the party didn't like it was due to personal tastes, so it's certainly not a dig at the chefs. I know that while I will be back - especially for the mac and cheese, I'm not sure I can convince the majority of my party to return with me. *sigh*"

"My daughter in law wanted to put going out to restaurants on hold because her daughter , 18 months old, had a meltdown at another restaurant. We suggested Clementines for their great food and family friendly - to include a space for children to play with toys - atmosphere. Everyone loved it - we felt so welcome and were not rushed. She said that this food was the best she has had in a long time and we all (6 adults) agreed! Oh, and the drinks were to die for too! Clementines is a revolution in food and in how to treat customers. We love it."

"We were greeted warmly by the general manager who made us feel very welcome and like we were long time customers; this was our first visit.
Our waitress was prompt and attentive. They have a nice beer selection with more than the "usual" selections everywhere else. I ordered the Daiquiri which is NOT what we all are used to; this is actually based on the original and NOT sweet, but very refreshing.
The winter squash /gorgonzola dip was great; sweet & salty;just the right size for an appetizer. The scallop pot pie was also very good & a nice appetizer.
The $15 dinner special, Chicken stuffed pablano peppers was very large and absolutely wonderful; great flavor. The rock fish was also very good."

"I took my fiance and his mother here for Easter Brunch. It was a super experience. We were seated right away without any issues. There was a nice crowed but it wasn't too busy. Our server was very sweet and knowledgeable about the menu. The brunch offered several sweet and savory options. I chose the duck hash-it was delicious. Both my fiance and his mother were also very satisfied with their vegetable quiche and vegetable egg scramble. The restaurant has a nice open feel to it and is well decorated, the staff is kind and efficient, the food was excellent. I can't wait to go back to try dinner here."

"We went to Clementine because it had expanded since we visited with our grandson.We had chosen it at that time because it was child friendly.We found it a very much improved facility.Six of us went for brunch on Easter morning.We were greeted in a welcoming matter.My husband and I arrived just as they were opening for business.My daughter ,husband and their sons arrived and were shown to our table.The waitress was very patient and the appetizers arrived in a timely manner.The food was hot and tasty.soon our main dishes arrived and everyone was very satisfied.The food was good.The atmosphere was welcoming nd the service was excellent.We will be returning to check out lunch and dinner."

"Food was inventive & tasty! Service was very friendly, knowledgeable and well-timed. Caitlyn (sp?) delivered a fantastic experience from the first approach to our last bottle of wine that we took home with us after dinner. One of us is a very choosy eater, and he really enjoyed the experience. He is already looking forward to coming back for the Scallop Pot Pie. Rabbit linguine was yummy, and the Thursday night wine deal is definitely worth coming back for!"
