"Went for lunch and it was outstanding. We told the waitress to commend the chef who later came out to introduce himself and even share the recipe. Definitely will go back and will recommend to others."

"Went to the outlets in the area for the first time on a whim and knew nothing about the area. Used an app to find restaurants nearby so we could await the traffic and long drive home with a full belly and came here a little apprehensive, but the instant the warm bread basket came out with the beautiful pad of butter, roasted garlic and olive oil I knew it was the right place. Loved the swedish meatballs, and thoroughly enjoyed the Kobe beef burger (great cheese!), and had I been hungrier I would have loved to try more items on the menu. Hope to go back some day!"

"This is a real gem. We have been there quite a few times and it consistently has excellent food, great service and great atmosphere. It's a nice place to go with a couple or small group. The menu is American fare. Ordered the filet mignon cooked to perfection. Give it a try. Made our reservations thru open table."

"Nice place for locals. Good quality food and cooking. Clams casino app very tasty. Tilapia was light and delicious. Beef stir-fry had a little kick which was nice. The Mango Mai-tais go down real easy!!"

"Nice local find. Superb service, delicious and eclectic menu beautifully presented and expertly prepared. The drinks were made perfectly also. We are so happy to have this nice restaurant in our neighborhood. It's one of our favorite places already."

"I took my boyfriend to Ludlow's Bistro for his birthday and we were very pleased. The food was great and the waitress was very friendly and helpful. We made reservations but found we didn't really need them. I'm not sure if it was the time of day or that it was a Thursday, or if the place was not well know but it was empty, except for two other parties. The place was small, romantic, quiet, smelled nice and offered a decent wine list but I thought it was a little pricey for the setting, neighborhood, and interior decor. I hope this place was having a slow day and that business picks up because we thought it was awesome!"

"This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. The "hidden" part is that the outside appearance is extremely lackluster (almost off putting) and not inviting in the least bit. The ambiance is very poor (bedsheets or old style curtains are the only thing that divides the restaurant from the bar) and the acoustics make for a very loud eating experience. HOWEVER, the food and our waitress are the only two things that will have us return for the "gem" part. The food is excellent and the portions are very good for the price. I would not suggest taking a first date here (she will think you dont have good sense), but I would take a girlfriend (who will already knows you have good sense) as she will definately appreciate the food."

"My husband likes this place so we went for his birthday. The atmosphere is good and the service is also very good. The food however could be better. I ordered a special of ravioli with chicken and tomatoes on top. The tomatoes were mealy and not very tasty, the chicken was just that plain cubed up chicken breast dumped on top. The broth that the ravioli were in was tasty but the other components just seemed an afterthought and not much effort put into it. I would also like to see some vegetarian entrees and more salads to choose from."

"Great food. The French onion soup was off the hook. The little sacs were the best thing I have eaten in months! They have an awesome house Pinot noir. The place is small and it was on valentines day and there was no crowd at the bar and no people waiting but the dining room was full. They must work reservations very well. Everything was way better than expected. I give it a rare 5 stars all around! Excellent."

"This was my wife and I's first time at Ludlow Bistro. We have always wanted to try it out since we are in the area but we never got a chance to. We decided to have dinner their on Valentine's Day. It was a very nice experience and the food very good the only problem that we had was for the money they certainly do not give you a big portion at all. In fact if you don't get an appetizer and bread you will walk out hungry and going to Waldbaums next store to make yourself dinner.
We did however like the quality of the food but for the price I think you could go to other places and still have some money left in your pocket."
