Mahogany's steaks are the finest custom-aged U.S. Prime Midwestern Beef known for its excellence in marbling, texture & flavor. "We went for our 15th anniversary. We have been to many fine steak restaurants and this one ranked right up there for food and service. I was very pleased with the entire experience, from appetizer to steak to wine to service. If you have not been, put it on your list to try."

"Well this past weekend a friend and I decided to try out this high-end steak house. Both her and I agreed that nothing was special about the food. The food taste just like something that you make right at home...not impressed. The server was very knowledgeable and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Seems like a wealthy locals get away. This is not a place that I believe that I will return..."

"We were celebrating our anniversary and wanted a special evening. Granted it is not your 'go to place' several times a week or month, unless you have a large dine out budget. Our meal included a filet steak and baked potato. We drank tap water and enjoyed complimentary bread. The cost for the 8oz steak and a baked potato (times 2) was almost $100 and with the tip the final cost for the evening was $110. We enjoyed great tasting food and incredible service but the crowded room and extreme conversation noise from others didn't provide a pleasing dining experience."

"The service was great - very attentive. We asked for a quiet area as both parents have hearing aids. We were seated in a nice area. Both parents raved about their meals and started planning reasons to come back. My steak had a line of hard gristle running thru it but it was delicious on both sides of that line. A little pricier than I'm used to paying for, but it WAS Mother's Day, and she was happy. Yes, I would recommend it, but couldn't afford to go there very often."

The food was excellent, but a bit overpriced - The calamari appetizer was very good, especially the sweet-spicy sauce. My ribeye was delicious and cooked to a perfect medium-rare. While our house salads were nothing special (especially for the price!), the scalloped potatoes were delightful. My wife ordered her lobster without butter. Unfortunately, it arrived with butter drizzled over it. Our waitress insisted that she receive a new one, delivered promptly and removed from our bill. Handled very professionally!

"It was our 48th wedding anniversary and we're looking for a fine dining experience. We don't eat out much but on special occasions like to have a special evening. This restaurant was recommended by a family member. It turned out to be a perfect steak dinner with a fine wine and we're very pleased with the service and quality of food. I would recommend it to friends and family for a special occasion."

"I took my wife here for an anniversary dinner. The mood was perfect. We didn't select the table, but we were fortunate to get a circular booth with high walls, which gave us a great feeling of coziness and seclusion. The waiter was very knowledgeable, and the food was terrific.
We dined from 7:15 PM until almost 10:00 PM. Our waiter arranged the pace of our meal perfectly."

"The waitstaff was very polite and attentive. The atmosphere was very nice. The food was just so-so. My wife ordered the filet and it was tuff. The filets from Crest supermarket are a lot more tender. I ordered the ribeye and it was okay, could have poured less butter of the steal. The sides of asparagus and green beans were nothing special. The coke from the bar was either flat or was Pepsi, either way we switched to wine.
They should invest in some Lawry's seasonings.
We will not be returning. I could have done this at home for $40 instead of the $200 I paid."

The food was of good quality. The lobster bisque was fabulous.
My only complaint was it was too dark in the restaurant. I know that lights are dimmed to create ambiance, but it was a little too much for me."

"The wait staff was very good. This was our second time to dine here. The first they sesoned the steak with so much black pepper I was unable to eat it. This time we oredered the special of lobster crab and steak. I did ask for no pepper. We also ordered the mash potatoes and asparigaus. Now being rasied on the farm and my parents and grand parents haveing asparigaus patches I know that if it is bigger around then my little finger it is going to be tough and not much flavor, this was as big as my thumb nasty.

"We've dined here several times (usually for special occasions). This time was our son's 14th birthday. The entire staff was so kind to him with many well wishes and made his dinner quite special...As always the service was top notch!The cowboy ribeye, salmon and Mahogany chicken were wonderful! We also got baked potatoes, asparagus and salads for sides. The potatoes were good (probably could have split two between the four of us), asparagus pieces were huge and prepared just right, but the salads were a let down (especially for $9 each).Would recommend Mahogany for a great meal or special occasion."

"Mahogany is always a great choice for birthdays, special occasions, etc.. We had a wonderful evening. We went for my birthday, had flowers delivered to the restaurant via OT (although the card was missing, not sure if the restaurant misplaced it or the flower company). Service & food were divine, as always. It was a memorable birthday dinner & I highly recommend Mahogany for any special occasion as they will do whatever necessary to make your time there memorable."

"Could be quieter - they were very busy. I saw some private dining was available. Would have done that if it were a very special occasion. We had a trio of filet, rock lobster tail and alaskan king crab legs - it was perfection - could not have been better. The fresh asparagus with hollandaise was divine. Service was second to none. "Mahogany is really an adult dining venue with no kid menus. However, we were in town with two grandsons (6 and 14) and ate early in the evening. Staff was very accommodating and food and service were the expected "excellent". We would recommend this restaurant as a must for a fine dining experience."

The language, noise level and subject matter at the table next to us put a bit of a damper on the evening, but I don't fault Mahogany for this, just a couple who were never taught the difference between a roadhouse and a fine restaurant.
