"Took a friend here for her birthday. We had an excellent meal. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because although my halibut was delicious, it was barely warm. My husband had the pork chop and my friend had the trout, and they were both awesome. The waiter recommended a very good bottle of wine (we were looking at rose') and it was one of the cheaper ones on the list! We called to tell them about the birthday and they told us to let them know which one was the birthday girl when we arrived, which led us to believe they would do something special, and all they did was put a candle in the one dessert we ordered. Not a big deal, but a little disappointing. All in all a great meal."

"Staff was very accommodating and service was quite good. The menu is limited (no salads listed) but the waiter was eager to offer a house salad when we enquired. Entrees are significantly overpriced, even for the Park City restaurant scene. ($55 steak, $45 pork chop, $40 halibut filet - all ala carte...)
We ordered an $18 Charcuterie plate, two green salads, and split a halibut entree. Those, along with two glasses of Oregon Pinot Griis ($11 ea) produced a bill of $100.
The meat plate and the salads were both quite good, though probably not $30 good. And the halibut was very fresh, perfectly cooked, with a very nice sauce. Our waiter was very friendly and attentative. Bottom line - a nice meal and experience, but noticeably overpriced"

"Fairly limited choice on the menu . Good service . We ordered the short rib and the fried chicken and both surpassed our expectations . The short rib had good flavour although rather chewy meat - perhaps a slower cooking process required to give that melt in the mouth tenderness which is possible with short rib . I'm not a big fan of fried chicken but this was succulent and very tasty ."

"The restaurant is trying too hard to be trendy and hip as the dishes were different but not necessarily of gourmet quality. Although they pride themselves on organic food and local fare, the choices were not necessarily appealing. It was noisy and although they offered an extensive wine list, they did not carry any beers on draught. The server was over zealous in asking us about where we were from and why we were in Utah, but not necessarily interested in checking on us after our food was delivered in which I ate only one bite of my entree as it was that bad."

"The rainbow trout was prepared the way we used to cook 'em in Canada...gutted, heads still on, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. Beautifully done and it took me back forty years to the days when we pulled brook trout straight from a cold river and dropped them into a fry pan. The Farm prepares real food in interesting ways and gets it to the table pronto...my favorite kind of restaurant...long on quality, short on pomp and process. The wait staff supports this kind of kitchen very well...friendly and helpful but directed at getting the food and drinks on the table without a lot of baloney about the provenance of the menu or the restaurant's pet recipe for risotto. Easily our best dining experience in the Canyons/Park City area."

"Food was good but portions were rediculous! The beet salad for $16 was barely a few spoonfulls - how much can beets and lettuce cost????!!!! The pork chop was mostly fat that should have been cut off. Other members of our party felt the same way. The restaurant has potential but they need to make it a better value - left feeling hungry after spending a lot of $$$$."

"This was a disappointment. The food although nicely presented was not exceptional. The waitstaff were very helpful but that did not improve the food experience. It was very noisey and overpriced for the rather ordinary dining room decor. I would not go back. There are too many other restaurants in Park City that offer better food and better value."

"After making the reservation I read a few reviews and they were spot on great food but horrible service. I had hoped that changes would have been made but I was wrong. Arrived approximately 5 minutes before reservation time and we were taken to the bar to wait for our table. That is where we met the unattentive bartender who was not busy and took almost 10 minutes to get two glasses of the same wine. Finally seated about 30 minutes after the reservation time. Once seated the service improved slowly."

"We had a group of 5 people attend on a Friday night. The food was outstanding and service during our meal was enthusiastic and friendly. The organic honey and cheese starter was the best.
The only reason I did not give The Farm 5 Stars is because we had to wait for nearly an hour for our table to be ready despite arriving on time. (The people using the table ahead of us took over an hour and a half to finish their desert and drinks and could have been moved to the bar area.)"

The wine recommendation/description was head on and the wait staff was attentive and helpful. "The Farm is located slope side at the Canyons in Park City. The menu is based on organic sustainable and local ingredients and they combine them very nicely, I had the beet salad and the wild rice and both were very fresh and tasty. My husband had the pork belly and short ribs and they were delicious. The total bill, not including tip and with 2 drinks came to $120. The service was very good."
