With all of our restaurants, we have tried to bring something new and exciting to Coronado. Leroy's Kitchen + Lounge will specialize in Urban Eclectic Food from sustainable natural sources as well as Cocktails and local Craft beers! Leroy's is about great food – without being expensive or fancy -- made with passion and the freshest ingredients for the most prominent flavor paired with "stiff" drinks and good wine! Our menu is intended to be exciting, unexpected and most of all fresh and flavorful. Overall, we hope to provide a place for our guests to relax and dine in good company.
"Excellent menu and well-executed dishes, served piping hot, but like so many chefs, waaay too much salt used. Fast and friendly service. We had squash blossom app, pork chop with potatoes and veggies for DH and Mary's brick-baked chicken with farro and veggies for me. Wonderful all around- I can't remember the last time I was served perfect fresh enoki mushrooms - but the salt caught up with the meal later. An excellent "Sweet Heat" cocktail and french press coffee made for a lovely dinner. Too bad we couldn't talk once the competent cover band in the bar started up - the industrial ceiling made their performance too noisy for conversation, unless seated on the busy sidewalk out front behind the speakers."

"Leroy's is in a good location close to several other restaurants/bars and the bar seating next to the roll up garage doors that overlook the sidewalk for people watching are really good. I can imagine that it's more fun later on in the evening and it has a large bar that looks like it would be fun at night. Our cocktails and dinner entrees were both very good. However, our waiter was very inattentive. He didn't check on our table to ask about whether we needed another drink or how our entrees were for nearly thirty minutes but saw him have plenty of time to mess around with the bar staff & other servers. Not enough to ruin our experience but definitely didn't do anything to make us want to come back again."

"I really loved the food at Leroy's. Our server was fantastic and very patient with us considering the other couple joining us was over 30 minutes late. I had the quinoa fried rice and it was great! Overall, the food was outstanding and we'll definitely go back again!"

"I believe out servers name was Dave. If not you are more then welcome to check from our reservation on Saturday 5/11 at 10am. He was extremely patient with us as we had two little ones. He offered great recommendations from the menu and even interacted with the kids and had them laughing. He seemed to be genuinely engaged with our overall dining experience. The good was really good however it did take longer then we expected, but well worth the wait. The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back and will recommend to others!"

"Love Leroys...great place to dine before going o Lamb's Theatre. Food is very tasty, though happy hour is not the best when they only feature a couple of wines."

"Everything was great for the most part, except the beginning. We were greeted promptly and the restaurant for the most part was empty. The hosted led is to the far back table in a corner that wobbled. I was a little unhappy and asked if they could fix the table, but took us to another table in the same general area but with a wall blocking any view and in another corner. Otherwise the food was great and the server was very good too!"

"4 of us dined here. 3 of the entrees were delicious. However, one of us had the lamb that was stringy, dry, and over-cooked. The waiter and manager were very apologetic and understanding. They credited our bill for that entree and handled the situation with care and concern. We will return as we have had many delectable meals at this restaurant in the past."

"Went in for a late lunch during the week and it was an awesome experience! We were recommended by a friend the deviled eggs and the truffle grilled cheese. I also had the chicken quinoa salad and the agave vinaigrette was refreshing. I love the local farm to table idea of this restaurant and the participation in the Passport program!"

"I love the feel of this this restaurant - casual and comfortable, a place to hang out with friends. Using fresh, local, sustainable ingredients David Spatafore elevates the image of comfort food to a higher level of eclectic sophistication. The Brandt Braised Brisket is outstanding, and, which harkens back to your mom's pot roast. In addition to a great selection of beers, the bar offers drinks from the past too, like a daiquiri, or an old fashion. If your looking for comfort with a twist, you won't be disappointed dining here."

"Food is very good. Poke tacos and brussel sprouts are outstanding. Service is subpar -- not enough waiters. We waited forever and then didn't receive our entire order. We're locals and have been to the restaurant a few times now. Very disappointed with service, but the food keeps us coming back."

"Food was FANTASTIC. Service was rather poor, no one greeted us or brought water for a good 8-10 minutes after being seated and the restaurant was not that busy. Then throughout the night no busser or houseman ever came to our table so we never had waters refilled etc... I am still giving a 4-star review because the food was THAT good!"

"Great food and drinks, but our waitress was rude and didn't seem smart. Also, I verified ahead of time that we could bring our baby in the stroller. She didn't cry or disrupt anyone but our waitress and the hostess made sure we knew that they thought our daughter was an inconvenience. The salads were boring but the chicken was incredible. The sangria was some of the best I have ever tried. Didn't have dessert since Mootime ice cream was on our walk back to the hotel :)"

"We really like the food--and approach to food--at Leroys. We went there for lunch recently; although the menu is limited, it has some gems, among them the ahi tuna tacos and the mole short rib quesadillas. This time I had the quesadilla (I usually cannot resist the tacos) and it was awesome. The mole meat, the beans, the crema (and I do not usually like mole)--yum. The tortilla was large and crisp. The greens were unusual and excellent watercress, but they needed to have snipped off the large stems. My companion had the beet salad, which was larger than last time (maybe they have listened to feedback) but not as good, because they had skimped on the crispy. stuff. Service was fine. I wanted one of the tasty cocktails, but resisted."

"We always enjoy the food at Leroys and that is why we have returned several times, but let me say this: You guys need to get your act together in the service department. From the minute you walk in the door a diner is treated to carelessness, inattention, a small dose of disdain and a smidge of fakery. We noticed that the servers seemed to find something to compliment each table on the other night -- first our shirt, then the ladies' purse next to us, a pair of shoes over there etc etc... is this supposed to endear us to you? Try bringing us the correct drink order. There ARE other places to eat in Coronado guys... pick up the service or we'll go elsewhere."

"We had a wonderful Valentine's Day meal. The food was delicious. Our server was helpful and informative regarding the 3 course choices. We had tickets to the Lamb's Players' show and were short on time for our desert. Our server encouraged us to return after the show and finish our dessert. It was delightful! Plant to come back....."

"Celebrated my boyfriend's 23rd here and it was so hip! The restaurant was clean, modern, service was great, and they had our table ready when we got there, on a Saturday night. Everything went smooth and the food was great. I would definitely recommend this joint and I will be coming back."

"I ordered the Jedori Chicken, and it was absolutely delicious! Our server was pleasant and attentive. The icing on the cake was the entertainment! I've heard this gentleman previously at other venues, and he is wonderful! He plays guitar and ukele and sings beautifully. I plan on returning!"

"We had a very good meal. My wife ordered the fried chicken and they put gravy on it, which she did not like. The gave her a new order which was great. If you don't like gravy on fried chicken tell them. Great meal and great beer."

"I just spent 5 days on Coronado Island and Leroy's was by far the best dining out experience I had that week. The food was excellent, the menu interesting, and the wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. The brussel sprouts and bacon mac and cheese were true palate pleasers. I enjoyed dinner at Leroy's so much that I returned two days later for lunch. You will not be disappointed."
