"This is my second visit to Christopher's and will be my last. We ordered the bruschetta for an appetizer and the bread was hard as a rock. The waitress was nice and had then remade, but they were just so so. the steak we ordered was bland and tough, not at all what you'd expect from a steak house. The restaurant lacks character and energy. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant too anyone."

"In the past we have always had superior service. Not this time. Our waiter forgot to get at least 4 things we had ordered. We had a table of 11. The buffet was good, but our food which was ordered was barely warm when we finally received it. It took a very, very long time to get our ordered items. Our waiter was totally "out to lunch". We were not at all impressed with him. I am sorry I recommended this restaurant to my friends for Mother's Day. I was imbarrassed to be the one in our group of friends who called for reservations. When I did call I was assured we would have a private room off of the main dining area. We were seated right in the middle of everyone else in the dining room. What a disappointment all around."

"While we LOVE Christopher’s for dinner, brunch was not at all good. The food was mediocre – not at all the quality this restaurant is known for. At least two of the desserts were the exact desserts we buy frozen at the local warehouse club and the other desserts appeared to be store bought as well. We expected better quality from Christopher’s.
The service was terrible – we had to wait 15 minutes for our first cup of coffee and then had to ask our server and the manager for a refill before we got it. We sat right near the buffet and saw and experienced a number of issues. They were continuously running out of food (especially bacon) and clean plates which held the line up for a fair amount of time."

"Christopher's offers a nice combination of steaks and continental cuisine. I really like their prime rib, creamed spinach and the wedge salad which were all excellent!
My favorite appetizers were the calamari and the lobster corn dogs which are "off the charts" good. I topped it off with a crème brule which I would compare to anyone's in the state. A nice place, and it is in Draper!"

"As another patron said, you'd get better food for much less money at Outback. Our waiter was visibly upset that I only wanted to order a heavy appetizer. Upset is ok, but conveying this to patron is not. To my husband's amusement, I ordered crab cakes (in Utah!) and was sorely disappointed. With such exorbitant prices, I expect any food item to be at least worth eating. The crab cakes consisted of a lot of binder, heavy spices, and some kind of tinned meat. My husband got the tenderloin medallions.His meal was average. The sweet potato fries were so over-salted as to be almost indelible. His steak was good but didn't merit its cost. The ambience was mediocre."

"Basically an average experience. Nothing stood out as outstanding, but nothing is bad. Biggest hangup is the ambiance. For the price of the meal more detail should be paid to lighting and mood. Draper facility is too general and feels like you are in a hotel meeting room / banquet hall not a fine dining restaurant. Won't hurry back as there are better places for value/ambiance - thinking Tuscany, Tiberon or Franck's for the same kind of $$."

"Very slow service (on a Tuesday night!) due to under staffing. Waitress did not know how to open a bottle of wine or wine sevice protocal. I had to send my steak back because it was cooked incorrectly. So I watched my wife eat dinner then she watched me. The worst thing though was every employee who walked behind my chair would, in a loud voice say "Corner." Unbelievablly annoying, all dinner long.

"For the price the food was not good enough. The steak would have been good had it been hot. It was just above room temperature at best. Not sure how a steak that comes out of a 1500 degree broiler can be cold but it was as well as the chicken and pasta. Server was friendly but slow. It took at least 20 minutes to leave once we got our check. Perhaps the slow service is why our food was cold. I heard the table next to us complaining about their food being cold as well and she said it was because been aisle sauce couldn't be heated which may be true but still. Won't be going back."

"This was our first time to Christopher's. We went there for Easter brunch and were blown over. Once we're seated we observed the "brunch" table. It had salads (which were amazing), sausage and bacon, then the deserts. Lots of breads, bundt cakes and the best little cheesecake bites--ever. We ordered off the menu for our entree. The variety was good, the food was great. The price was really good for what we had. Last year we went to the America hotel and I will agree everything was over the top but at $55.00 per person so was the price. I loved the atmosphere Christopher's offered and now that they plan on having brunch every Sunday I'm even happier."

"The service was terrible. Server/Waitress hovered until we ordered, and then it seemed like our order was lost. We waited 30 minutes for salad's and appetizers, and over 70 minutes for the entree. My steak, ordered medium, was scorched beyond recognition. Server never came back to check if food was cooked to specifications. It was a very poor experience for a "upscale, high priced" restaurant. For our party of six, we paid well over $300 for a terrible experience."

"Was a bit disapointed. The overall atmosphere was good, however there were people with kids and babies crying, could have got this at Texas Road house for 1/2 the money. Service was very slow, 15 minutes to get our Ice tea. "Waited more than a half hour to be seated even with reservations; waiting over 25 minutes between salad and entree. Food was tough (prime rib); potatoes were cold. The server never asked how we were doing; never asked whether we needed a refill; didn't bring steak knives for our dinner and when I asked for the knives and horseradish, he brought the knives (after 5 minutes) and then I had to remind him about the horseradish which I finally got when I was finished with my dinner. And on top of that they put a 19% tip on our bill without asking. We normally tip 20%; however, we don't when we have poor service and poor food. We had planned to give 15% and I resent the fact that I was not given that opportunity."

"I thought the food was good. Not five star. The Service was normal. They told us about the special being a lobster corn dog. However, we did come for the prime rib. The Prime rib was good. The plate was not much of a presentation. Service was OK. However for the price they charge is the reason we did not give them a five star rating. For getting OK service and not five star service in this economy is a real mistake. I would go with a coupon or some type of price special. The wine list was long."

"Food was great, the atmosphere there is not the best but okay. I took my boyfriend there for his Birthday dinner and he really enjoyed their prime rib. I had the filet and it was really good, very tender and great flavor. The prices are pretty high but the food is very good. For the prices I think the service should be a little more formal."

"First of all, the food was great. Other than that, the whole night was a huge disappointment. The service, from the hostess to the server was very poor considering the $$$ being spent. We made reservations. We get there right on time, the hostess finds our reservations, she says they are cleaning off a table. 15 minutes later, she looks at us and asks if we are on the list. I said, I have a reservation remember? Her response is "oh, right." From then, the service was brutally slow. Our waiter barely came to the table. Our food was delivered by other servers. The manager never stopped by the table to check on us. An hour and 45 minutes later we finished our dinner. Won't be going back."

"I took a couple of guests from out of town here and it really was not good.
We wre kept witing 45 minutes for the table we had reserved the previous day.
It took 20 minutes for our server to take our wine order and a further 15 for him to come back and say they didn't have the wine we wanted. He didn't have a bottle opener when he came back with our alternate wine and after he went and got one he managed to put cork in the bottle.
The Clam Chowder was cold when it eventually arrived and we had to send it back
The appetizers were good then after we had eaten them lo and behold - the Clam Chowder re-entered. Too late - we sent it back.
The steaks that we ordered for entrees were really quite good.
Embarassingly bad. Never ag"

"I heard so many good things but was very disappointed. We knew it would be busy since it was Valentines so we went early. It was not crowded but service was slow. Food taste was good but temp was mildly warm. We would be told several times that we would get drink refills before it happened. Deseret was brought out before we had our dinner plates cleared and we weren't brought spoons. Very stingy on bread. We each got a one small roll. Very disappointed for the cost."

"Christopher's Steak House in Draper was a wonderful experience. I took my wife their for Valentines day and the ambiance was quiet and romantic. We had a wonderful waiter, and the food was superb. We ate the BBQ salmon, and I'd say it was the best salmon I have ever had. It was moist, tender, and flaky. We also had the Kansas City Sirloin. It was cooked perfectly (medium rare), and was very tender. In hindsight, While the sirloin was great and knowing how well they prepare their beef, I should have gone with the Filet Mignon. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that is looking for a special place to take a loved one."

"After being seated, we sat for 20 minutes waiting for server to appear. Other servers (serving tables right next to us)didn't even offer water. Tables around us sat unbussed for 15 minutes or more.
Once our server did appear, he did a good job and made an effort to get our ticket reduced because of what he considered a poor experience at the restaurant. We did not request a discount or refund."
