"Overall we were disappointed.I had been reading about Patria for sometime now and was looking forward to our evening.While in Florida I even came across an article touting the hottest chefs and chef DiCataldo was mentioned.this whet my appetite even further. Imagine our surprise when the first thing that greets you is the valet parking for the restaurant that actually charges you $10.00 to park your car!!$10.00 for what?The privilege of eating in their restaurant?? And it wasn't even courteous where they come to your door to let you out...they stood in the back of the lot and make you walk to the restaurant door!The food was lukewarm,small portions with the shrimp in my dish miniscule.Although tasty,it wasn't worth the hype.The mixologist?"

"This was another wonderful meal at Patria. The ceviche completo and the steak tacos were fabulous. The paella was very good with each seafood item added sepately so as to not overcook anything.The rice was more like a risotto but very good. We also enjoyed the cheesecake dessert. The servers were very pleasant and the service was well paced. We can't wait to go back."

"Atmosphere & service was excellent. Appetizers were very good. Two out out of four of our dinners were disapponting. Steak & short ribs mostly fat & not seasoned enough(especially the steak. Paella was good. Dessert fondue was very small. Not enough fruit for the price. Cheesecake was good. Overall we enjoyed our night out for one of our birthdays. Wonderful birthday performance by staff. Menu selection not enough. We may try you again."

We had a large group, we started with special martini's at the bar, each one better than the other.
We then went to the table.

"This is a truly beautiful restaurant and the ambiance was ideal for a romantic Valentine's Day dinner! I was disappointed in the special prix fixe menu that was offered on that evening, as I felt the choice of entrees was very limited. The food was all well prepared and beautifully presented. We did not visit the downstairs bar scene, but by the time we were leaving, it appeared to be crowded and lively!"

"My experience at Patria was mixed: hostess harried, service slow, and we were asked to move after seating. A complementary appetizer of chips and salsa helped smooth those ruffles.
Our entrees were mixed: Lomo Saltado=excellent; Paella flavorful/seafood plentiful; Seco (short rib)underseasoned & sauced; Cornish hen special disappointing. It was a birthday celebration so the dessert came with a sparkler and the waiter sang and played guitar--very nice.
This place has clearly become a party spot which takes away from the dining experience a bit. It was Friday night so I'll give it a pass on that one. Reservations are a must! The menu was interesting and the prices right so we'll give it another try."

"Been to Patria a handful of times. Can't go wrong with any of the appetizers. Absolutely delicious! My entree was not so great-- tasted old and reheated. I had to send it back (and I rarely send food back to the kitchen, but this dish was inedible) Server was very pleasant replaced my entree with another, which as okay- not great. Dessert tasted like freezer-burn. My advice-- ask your server if what you are ordering is fresh or you will be dissapointed. Overall, I will keep going to Patria. Even though my last experience wasn't the greatest, I'm confident the staff will do their best to fix any issues."

"The food of the place is always great. It's a lil pricy but worth the food. It was my mother's birthday and overall they did a good job on making her day become what she expected to. HOWEVER, service from the weiter was not the greatest and in fact it was a huge turn off for me to go back there for dinner. He was polite but was not attentive enough. He forget to bring the coffee, took to long for the food to come out, and took too long to get us the check. They shouldn't have 3 people taking care of the same table, everyone should be assinged to their own."

"This was my second time to Patria, which was much better than the first. The service, however, left much to be desired. The staff was apparently overwhelmed with the crowd who was probably going to attend a nearby concert. The time between ordering and receiving our food wasn't bad. Unfortunately, we ordered dessert, vanilla ice cream - nothing fancy, and ended up cancelling it when we did not receive it after 20 minutes. The first time we were there, we were seated on the bar side, which became bombarded with a birthday party of about 30 people. The noise was overwhelming and ruined my dining experience. We waited about a year before returning and might consider another restaurant in the future or wait another year before coming back."

"This was the first of many visits to Patria. The food was very tasty and the ambiance was nice. Perhaps not ideal if you are trying to host a business meeting.
