"The food was not well prepared. We did not see our waitres until at least 10 minutes after we received our entrees.Only Jesse's gracious personality saved this from being a very disappointing experience.I don't know what problems they are having in the kitchen, but my scallops were noticeably undercooked, and my wife's swordfish was overcooked, dry and tough. We had already complained about the quality of the lettuce in the house salad, so by the time we received our entres, we were resigned to tany hope of having a memorable meal... and no one asked us about the entrees(!) Restaurants where we are going to spend $100+ usually get just one shot at us."

"I always enjoy the Museum Cafe and dine there frequently with friends. Our table was excellent and the food was good but a little saltier than usual (the Gumbo- a luncheon special). We stayed to talk and drink coffee. (It was not an overly busy lunch, and there were diners who were still in the dining room when we left). However, we did have trouble getting someone's attention for coffee and coffee refills. There was very little waitstaff left in the dining room to call and our waiter, who had been very attentive during lunch, had disappeared.
We both found the absence of waitstaff unusual. (We only saw one at the far end of the restaurant, although there were two other parties beginning to dine in close proximity to us.)"

"We've had brunch at the Museum Cafe several times before attending Civic Center productions. The location works out perfectly. Service can be a little slow but this time it was very timely. Can be a bit expensive for brunch but it's a nice treat."

"First you notice the friendly staff, then you experience the delicious food. We had the special appetizer and it did not disappoint. I wasn't terribly hungry and ordered the caprese salad for my entree, the waiter suggested I add shrimp to the salad and it was perfect. Great location for anything happening at the Civic Center."

"On this day, the Museum Cafe was particulary busy. For a while it was quite full and quite loud. As a result of being so busy, the service was a bit slow. This is not the norm for this establishment. There was a mix up with our order, in that it took an inordinate amount of time. We advised our waiter of our need to be able to make a time committment. He worked with us, was able to serve our meal in time, and as a consolation of the problem, we were given a discount on our meal. Not necessary, but a surprise and very much appreciated. I always have a pleasant experience at the Museum Cafe and enjoy eating there, and more importantly, I enjoying taking guests, especially out of town gurests."

"We had to wait a bit longer than anticipated for our food, nearly 40-minutes, but the rest of the service was nice, appetizers were our relatively quickly and they were quick with our drinks."

"Our table was ready when I arrived and the waitstaff was helpful and accomodating. Our food choices were delicious. The Museum Cafe is always a good choice for an excellent meal enjoyed in an amenable ambience.
Thank you hostess, waitstaff and chefs!"

"Previous dining here was outstanding. Great food and great service at brunch a few months ago. This visit something was very "off".. Table mates meals were terrific, and the Lobster bisque of our table mate was full of lobster. However, I had the same lobster bisque and not one bite of lobster was found in the bowl, but the soup itself was delicious. Consistency seemed to be absent. Our server was very sweet, smiling and very friendly, however, her service left a lot to be desired. Had to ask three times for a lemon, hubby's drink took three requests and finally got it after the meals arrived, which took thirty minutes from ordering to arrival. The best service came from the man bringing water and bread to the table. He was on top of things"

"Only complaint-service could have been faster/more attentive, did not appear to be extremely busy, would have had more wine, and an additional side of salad dressing if server was more attentive.
Haven't been in a long time, but the food was greatly improved from a year or two ago."

"Food was good, although a bit bland for my tastes and slightly overpriced, I would still recommend it to friends. The wait staff was amazing and saw to our every need. The restaurant was kind of deserted on a Friday night, not sure if that was bad or good, but the wife and I enjoyed ourselves. I am certain we will be back to try another dish."

"My friend and I were impressed with the uniqueness of the Cafe. The service was outstanding and the food was absolutely great. I had been once before and she had never been. Truly a great experience for the OKC area. Prices were reasonable with a wonderful atmosphere. Thanks you for a good time. We will come again."

"A friend of mine and I had brunch at the Cafe on Sunday. We are older ladies and appreciate dining where things are happening but we can still have a conversation and hear one another without shouting. We loved the surroundings, the wait staff were so nice and the food was wonderful. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!"

"We had the night's special which was crab stuffed flounder and it was very good. Love the rolls they always serve too. I had the roasted vegetable bisque and my wife had the caesar and it was just the right amount of food for both of us. Great place to eat before seeing a show at the Civic Center."

"The food came in a timely manner and was straight from the oven. Everything tasted wonderful. The waitress was not attentive. She did not come back to our table after our food came, so we couldn't get additional items like ketchup or butter. Overall it was a nice lunch."

"The seafood mac and cheese is awesome. Just wish the service were faster. Attended a Broadway show and was almost late for the performance due to slow food service and response from the waiter."

"Joe and many other staff were very attentive to a gentlemen at a table just across from us. When he exited the restaurant he left by the back hall. A museum employee? While we waited for Joe to take our order, he had a good 10 minute conversation with this man. Our reservation was at 11:30, 20 minutes later he began taking our order only to discover that we had the wrong menus. He quickly got our Brunch menus and after a hurried selection we placed our order. My omelet was tastey, but not hot. My husband's eggs were cold. The English muffins would not melt the butter. The potatoes were actually delicious, but not hot. The table was at the very end of the line next to th bar-crowded with traffic behind me. Promised muffins never ca"

"I've always been here for lunch, so my review is in that context. It's a great place for a business lunch: professional, unobtrusive service; quality food; and a bright, elegant room that feels upscale without being stuffy. I'll be back many times, I'm sure."

"We had an 8::00 reservation on Saturday night and there were only two other seated tables, which would of been great if we weren't there for clean up hour. They were beating chairs with towels, sweeping, restocking glasses and silver and then out came the dust busters. Really, wait till the guest leave. I would of understood if we had came in thirty minutes before closing, we didn't . I had the Mac and cheese and my husband had the strip, both were very tasty. Everything we tried was very well prepared."
