"We love visiting Miradoro. The chef does an amazing job incorporating food from around the area. The view is spectacular. The patio can get a little windy, but there were no bugs -- so no complaints."

"This was a special occasion for my wife and myself, the view was unbeatable, the food was very over priced and not very good! We both had the steak , at $44. you would have expected a steak which was not previously frozen, it was cooked correctly however not the greatest cut of beef! The potatoes were between mashed and not mashed, no vegetable at all!
we had an App and 1 desert .. no wine, the bill with tip was $157. ... We will not go back there again."

"The view at Miradoro is outstanding, great location. The food was good, some items better than others. Overall pretty good, but our server was struggling. He had trouble remembering orders. We had to correct him on the create your own menu options. He got my main wrong and I had to wait 10 minutes for my food after my husband had started. Not so good. They didn't even offer a discount on that. He was trying but not up to par with what the restaurant charges and is trying to be."

"Elegant restaurant with a tremendous view down the Valley. One way road in and out is a bit tight. Very quick service and very professional food and Tinhorn Creek wines - with a few others local wineries fare included."

"This visit was for the special Oyster Community Dinner and the oysters were sublime. Fresh oysters on the half shell were provided by Cod Fathers from Kelowna and were the best I have ever tasted. The Oyster Paella was an amazing main dish. The Tinhorn Creek Cabernet Frank was an excellent wine that went very well with the oysters. All in all it was a wonderful dinner."

"Unfortunately I was not impressed with my meal. Notwithstanding the price, the food quality was substandard as were the portions. I prefer small portions but left hungry, which is very unusual. The halibut was small, flavorless, and prepared in a soupy broth that had little taste and made eating it awkward. The creativity, in my opinion, has gone too far, at the expense of flavor and volume. A soft poached egg is an odd addition to this dish and added nothing. Normally I would not provide feedback, but in this case I have high hopes for this beautiful restaurant to flourish. Salads? Where are the salads? My suggestion would be to add more variety and choice to the menu and improve the flavor quality and portion size."

"Wonderful food, excellent service. The next time we're in the region we'll be back.

My octopus carpaccio was fabulous, as was the mushroom risotto. My husband had a lovely squash soup that had a cumin flavored yogurt in it - very tasty! And his chicken was excellent as well.

We had the wine pairings with the meal. All wines were excellent and the pairings worked well with the food."
