Buca di Beppo - Strongsville
Buca di Beppo serves authentic Italian cuisine in an eclectic, vintage setting. Our dishes are served family-style, meant to be shared by everyone at the table. Two sizes are available: BUCA SMALL feeds up to two and BUCA LARGE feeds up to four. At Buca, guests delight in our lively atmosphere, enjoy the classic tunes of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin and admire our décor, including family photos and candid shots of Italian-American icons, such as Sophia Loren and Joe DiMaggio. "Went to Buca on Mother's Day and even though we had a 5:30 reservation, we did not get seated until 6:15 because of they way they booked the tables. Also, the first time our pasta came out it was cold and our waitress forgot to put in our order for salad. However, the waitress brought us a new, warm pasta and it and the rest of the food tasted good. We had a great time and the food was good, but would definitely not recommend going there for a holiday dinner."

"Scheduled a Saturday evening Mother's Day Celebration as this is my wife's favorite place to dine. Typically we go to the Columbus location while at the wrestling state championships but we wanted to take the in-laws this time for the celebration. We (they) were not disappointed as the dining experience was great. We had possibly the best server we have ever had in KD!"

"Loved the stuffed chicken breast and penne vodka cream sauce. Service was good but the table we had was so cold I couldn't enjoy my meal, I had to keep my coat on the whole time and decided not to have dessert for that reason."

"I booked a reservation for 11 people to celebrate the graduation of my daughter from college. I made this reservation a month in advance because it was Mother's Day and to ensure my elderly parents and in-laws would not have to stand for an extended period of time. Although our reservations were at 7 pm, we were not seated until after 8 pm."

"We had reservations for two at 6:45 on Mother's Day. When we arrived at 6:40 I was immediately told they were very sorry but, because of the large parties, we would not be seated for another 45 minutes. At 7:50 I asked again and was told we were next. Keep in mind it was my wife and me only. We did get seated and the waiter, Ben was very prompt with drinks and taking our order. When the bread came out it was not only not warm, it was actually cold like it was just removed from the refrigerator. The food came out promptly in 10 minutes, unfortunately, the salad we ordered had not arrived! They apologized and offered the salad at no charge. I doubt if we go back for a long time and especially not for a special occasion. Very poor management."

"Buca has very good Italian food. It's a great place for a group of people because they serve family style. The numerous little rooms they have with tables are very cozy and make you feel at home. However, the chairs at the table were very close together and made it a bit uncomfortable. The noise level in the rooms gets very loud as well, where you can't really talk to someone sitting diagonally across from you without yelling. Overall a good experience though."

"Since we had multiple generations in our group we needed a place that was nice but not quiet. Bucca's was the perfect answer. The children had fun, had kid-friendly food, and the adults enjoyed their entrees. We didn't have to worry that the children were making too much noise. Everyone in the restaurant was having fun and enjoying themselves."

"Buca has never disappointed. I chose this restaurant to celebrate Mother's Day. At this visit, we especially enjoyed the Caesar salad (the small serving was sufficient for three of us). It was perfectly dressed and the lettuce was crisp and delicious. We also ordered Chicken Carbonara, which is one of our favorite dishes (and our waiter chimed in this is one of his favorites also) and one meatball that was enough for the three of us to share. Our waiter was very attentive despite the how busy the restaurant was. We had a great evening! Thank you so much for helping to make this Mother's Day celebration special for me!"

"I have only gone to Bucca three times now. The food is incredible! The desserts are always fantastic and the service was great. Th only thing I didn't like was that my father said it was my birthday and I didn't get a birthday wish or anything. Other than that I was very satisfied and happy to go back there !"

"I was very disappointed. We celebrate a lot of special occasions at Buca. I made online reservations and said we were celebrating a birthday. Our server never asked if it was a special occasion. We thought our Mom would some kind of special treatment or a free desert of some kind In the past we have always received a free desert. At end of meal we were never even asked if we wanted desert. Server just gave us our check so we asked and server said you no longer give a free desert but they could sing to her if we wanted. We said no that was ok.. Also we never received dinner plates that night we ate off small plates and our server never even noticed. Our server was not very attentive at all."

"I always enjoy my visits to Buca. It's just like inviting my friends over to dinner at my house, except I don't have to cook. The food was wonderful this last trip. We ordered the Quattro al Forno (cheese manicotti, chicken cannelloni, cheese ravioli and stuffed shells) Each of the four of us had our fill. Each of the pieces of our entry had a little surprise for us. It wasn't the same old stuffed shells or cheese ravioli. I'd definitely order it again."

"I know that it was busy on Easter Sunday, however, we had to ask several times for a fork as the one place setting didn't have one. During main meal there wasn't enough dinner plates for our party. My niece's pizza was brought out 20 minutes before the main course for the rest of the table. We were only brought bread once and usually when I dine there, we are brought bread at least twice."

"My mother and I came on Christmas Day before going to a movie (then came back after the movie for dessert). It was awesome! This time it was my mom, brother and his wife and the food was mediocre at best. I was very disappointed. Not worth the money or the gas to drive from Akron. Slim to no sauce on the spaghetti marinara, and what was on it was like water. Mini meatballs had no taste. Garlic bread awesome, as was the broccoli Romano, but they weren't enough to make it worth the money we spent."

"took our older kids 22,18 & 16 out for a family meal. glad we made a reservation as there was already people waiting @5:30. service was outstanding, food was a little slow to come out of the kitchen, but our waiter kept us posted and it was worth the wait! chicken parmesian was delicious as well as spaghetti with giant 1/2 # meatballs. took home leftovers that were lunch the next day. defntly go, well worth the money!"

"Our waiter was excellent. The hostess - not so much! Part of the ambiance of this restaurant is the "tour" of the different rooms when being seated. The hostess that seated us barely spoke as she led us to our table. It was disappointing. Especially since we had been there before, but our friends had not and we had told them about that fun aspect of the restaurant. Our waiter, however, couldn't have been nicer and done more for us. The food was delicious."

"The food, as usual, was excellent. Our group of six enjoyed Tomato Capreze Salad, the Baked Rigatoni, which had a nice mild sausage baked into the dish, the Chicken Limone and the Stuffed Chicken. Every dish was cooked to perfection, and amply fed our hungry group. I would recommend Buca Di Beppo to anyone looking for someplace different to try, and would enjoy something other than just pasta. The menu is served "family style", which allows for a wonderful sharing opportunity."

"The food was very, very good. The service could have been better. There was only myself and my boyfriend and one other couple in the bar section and our waiter was gone for most of our meal. He never came back to check on us except when it was time to ask if we wanted desert and bring the check. Not very personable. Other than that the experience was good and I would go back."

"I make a reservation, and they aren't even busy, it was very upsetting to arrive 5 or 10 minutes early and when asked if I want to be seated or wait for the rest of my party. I choose to wait in the bar area since the heaters at the entrance were intolerable after coming in from the cold. I couldn't take the heat so I sat in the bar and watched the door for the rest of my party. after a 25 minute wait, I decided to look around. I found my children all sitting at a table in the back. I went to tell the hostess to cancel my reservation because my children and their spouses were already seated not knowing I had made a reservation. I told the hostess how dissappointed I was that I missed them. Her job is not to let that happen!"

"I just love your place period. I could go once a week if I could afford it. Don't get me wrong, it is a value, we always have take home food for the next day. And it's so darn delish!I only wish you offered some type of fish soup or something with clams mussels etc in the broth. I know you did offer it a few years ago, I really enjoyed."

"I've gone to Bucca many a time and each time is as good as the last. From dinning with just my husband, friends and even a large family group that is celebrating my grandmothers 80th birthday. It was a lovely night out with my husband and my best friend along side her boyfriend. The food was good, the service wonderful. I would recommend it to everyone."

"I took my girlfriend here for our valentines day date and it was amazing! They gave us the special kitchen table for just the two of us! It was so nice, the food came fast, was presented beautifully, and the service was spot on. Definitely will be coming back here. Lovely place!"

"The food was good, the service on the other hand was completely lacking. Our waitresses name was Devon, and she was horrible. It seemed to be a bother for her to do her job. We had a gift card for $50.00,she ran it for only 25.00 and when we brought it to her attention she said" Well your lucky, I still have it". We were there an additional 20 mins trying to straighten out the matter. I have eaten at other locations and was much happier with the service. I will not be returning to this location."
