Urban, an American Grill, is located in the Westin at the Domain and serves a comforting menu highlighting local ingredients. Inspired by the flavors and spirits of Texas, our cuisine changes with the seasons but always includes favorites like Chef Bryce's signature meatloaf, loaded mac and cheese, and our delicious Urban Burger. Other inspired dishes include our Espresso Rubbed Pork Chop with butternut squash risotto and crispy brussel sprouts, Pan Seared Red Fish with fingerling potato crawfish hash and sauce Creole, and the always popular Bar Steak with bourbon shallot butter and house made salt & pepper fries. "I took my family here for my graduation and I have a few nephews that are very rambunctious. They put us in a private room that was huge and beautiful so we had a great night and didn't have to be too worried about the kids running around and bothering other people.
The food, wine and deserts were delicious and the waitstaff was outstanding."

"I've always declined going to a Mother's Day Brunch because I anticipated huge crowds, a noisy environment and lousy food. I was surprised. We had reservations, were seated quickly. The restaurant was busy, but not overly crowded. Lines at the buffet were not terribly long. I enjoyed my special brunch."

"It was definitely American comfort food. The atmosphere was relaxing and modern. Would be a good place to go with a large group because the space is open. Steak was okay but the grill cheese was awesome :)"

"The food was great, the ambiance was very nice, including the back outdoor patio - but, they encouraged us to sit out there and then promptly ignored us. We had to pile our plates on the next table and ask for every refill on a drink once they did come out, usually to serve a newly seated group.
Then to top it off, they added the tip! So no recourse - they did not mention this when I called to confirm my reservation and asked the price. It may be awhile before I go back but I may give them another shot...the muffins were awesome."

"I took my Mother to eat here for their Mother's Day Brunch! What a selection~ Grilled Salmon, Cocktail Shrimp AND Crab Legs, Fresh Waffles and Berries, Chef Stations Galore, Desserts to Die For! It was an amazing experience, we ate on the patio under the umbrellas, the couches were so comfortable and the breeze was divine! The service was impeccable and the prices were reasonable! I cannot wait to go back here soon!"

"Amazing selection on the brunch buffet. So many items that even diners with multiple food allergies will have a fabulous meal without feeling restricted. Staff was very attentive and the space is beautiful. The food was delicious - you have to try this place!!"

"Picked this for a family luncheon, with folks arriving from out of town. Easy to find and parking was great. Enjoyed wonderful service as we lunched and visited for two hours. Food was excellent -- from the calamari (fresh and very delicately fried) to the fish tacos, pizza, and meatloaf entrees. Everyone loved the open and fresh ambiance of the restaurant. It's part of the Westin hotel, so a stroll through the lobby was an added bonus. Then everyone walked to the shopping area of the Domain. Definitely recommend Urban for pleasant, upscale dining."

"I heard the lunch and dinners here are good but the brunch...no so much. One person's eggs were watery inside. My pancake was not very tasty. It was wonderful they put our large party in the private room without our asking, but I just wasn't impressed with the quality of the breakfast food. I will go back....just not for brunch."

Let's just say that this restaurant should not be a secret--it should be put on the Texas map with a HUGE star so everyone will know about it! Impeccable service, food cooked & seasoned to perfection, & great ambiance. I cannot wait to return to Austin & dine here again. "Shame on us for not asking about a prix fixe menu when we made the reservation (or for noticing if the information was available on Open Table) - we haven't gone out on Valentine's Day in the US very often. The options were interesting and showcased the chef's creativity more than they did the food. I had a crusted steak that had more of a cocoa taste than an enhanced beef flavor. While the crust had a distinctive flavor - and I appreciated the wine pairing, it didn't serve to flavor the steak and I would have much, much, much preferred having something where the steak was enhanced rather than overwhelmed. In short, the cocoa and chile flavorings seemed to be more the point than the fact that I was eating a nice piece of beef"
