Buca di Beppo serves authentic Italian cuisine in an eclectic, vintage setting. Our dishes are served family-style, meant to be shared by everyone at the table. Two sizes are available: BUCA SMALL feeds up to two and BUCA LARGE feeds up to four. At Buca, guests delight in our lively atmosphere, enjoy the classic tunes of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin and admire our décor, including family photos and candid shots of Italian-American icons, such as Sophia Loren and Joe DiMaggio. "I had no idea how popular Buca di Beppo was on Mother's Day until after dining there. In fact, I chose it because it was one of the rare places I could get an early table. It was very crowded, and considering that it is a huge restaurant and every seat was taken, Buca did as good a job as could be expected. The noise level was incredibly loud. Our service was a little slow, but that is understandable. In fact, I think most of the servers did heroic jobs winding their way through a maze of rooms carrying heavy dishes. We have been to Buca about 3 times previously (when it was half empty) and have been able to buy individual meals. This time we could only buy the family-style dishes. The food was ok, as usual."

"We have a five-year-old and two sixteen-month-olds. The wait-staff at Buca di Beppo went above and beyond to pay attention to all the kids and make sure that they, and therefore we, had a good time.

"Had a wonderful time with my family for dinner on Mother's Day. Made reservations, and wer were seated within 5 minutes of arriving. So much food to choose from and of course portions were very generous. Our waiter was excellent and his timing was spot on regarding giving us plenty of time to enjoy appetizers and then our entree's and finally dessert. While there is so much going on in the restaurant we truly felt like we had the place to ourselves. Already considering making this an annual event for Mother's Day and certainly stopping by throughout the year. Would highly recommend this to all my friends."

"Took a group of 6. Service was great at first and then fell apart. Problems in the kitch perhaps. We were at our table for over an hour before getting our main course. We ordered two dishes to share among the group, Once they arrived, one had been sitting for awhile and was not that great. The other was hot and fresh."

"had reservation for two at 7:15. arrived at 7:10, checked in with hostess and had a seat. looked into the bar area saw empty tables set and waiting. we did not get called to be seated until 7:45 ! After speaking to the hostess twice, and yes, we were seated at the empty table in the bar area that we spotted at 7:10."

"We had a reservation at 6:15 arrived at 6 it was packed, told it would be 6:30 at 6:30 maybe 6:45, were seated about, had a waiter that had been there two weeks and was terrible. Brought teas no sweetner, had drinks gone befire he remembered sweetner, were brought the bread no plates, were brought the wrong. Will not go there again."

"This Buca was so-so overall. This Friday night it was extremely loud, and would not have been good night to be there on a romantic date, etc. the service was friendly, although poor, as our server only came to the table 4 times the whole meal (including greeting and taking the order). I sat for a while (20-30min) with an empty glass. On the positive, servers were happy, environment was family style, and the food was tasty."

"We were celebrating our children's baptism with grandparents. We had drinks at the bar prior to being dining. Out bartender was excellent. Then we were seated, our server was terrible. She was basically rude and should not be working with the public. The food was pretty good though. We will come back just hope for a different server."

"The decoration were nice. It had a very nice Ambiance. They had a Pope room that had a bust of the Pope in the middle of the table and that was kind of odd. The food was good but not for the price. Our waiter was nice but we felt rushed to order and we had to ask to have our drinks refilled. There were a lot of birthdays while we were there and they sang very loud."

"this was a horrible experiance. the service was bad, it was like the servers were new to their jobs. we somehow had 4 different servers over the night. the food took forever to get, as in 1.5 hours. the drinks also took forever, as in 20 mins. at one point someone in the group asked for a root beer refill and the server said " did you get that here?" oh, i ask because the other side of the resteraunt does not have root beer! really?? how is that possible? at the end, the waitress who took our checks was gone for 20 mins, and came back and said " i dropped the bills and do not know who's card goes with what." after 20 mins. that was not ok. no one asked how our dinner was but they stopped at every other table. awful!!!"

"Went to Buca for an early birthday dinner on a Sunday afternoon. We had reservations for a party of 10 with ages from 13 to 70. We were seated promptly in the wine room and drink orders were taken right away. We ordered several dishes for sharing and all were excellent. These included the apple gorgonzola salad, garlic bread, lasagna, pizza, Italian sausage, chicken parmesan, fettucinne alfredo and chicken cannelloni. The service was outstanding. While the prices are on the high side, we still felt the food quality and service were plenty good enough for a return visit."

"My kids love Buca, but we were a little hesitant when making reservations as we had an issue with customer service during a prior visit. The negative reviews on Open Table made me less inclined to eat here as well, but decided to give it another chance for the kids. We were pleasantly surprised! The service was fantastic, our server was polite and attentive and the food was good. I really don't think the cost is unreasonable considering the size of the portions. While it is not someplace my husband and I would go for a night out, it is great for families or groups."

"This was our first visit to Buca di Beppo and we were surprised to have a tour of the kitchen. Our kids found that exciting. The lasagna and pepperoni pizza were fabulous, unfortunately the service was just "OK." Our booth had a dip in the seat that was so deep, it looked like my son had shrunk at least 4 inches. My husband opened his menu and found dried food on the inside. He tried to wipe it off with his napkin but to no avail, it was caked on. He showed this to the server and said that maybe this menu should be thrown away and all she did was say, "that she would let someone decide what to do with it." She did not offer to get him a new menu. Drink refills were slow. My son had finished his meal before he got a refill."

"we ate at the restraunt saturday night and after being there i have to say i woo mot return. "I was determined to have a great time, celebrating my mother's birthday. Arrived to confusion in the lobby regarding reservations for a couple of other parties. Still, we were seated within 15 min of arrival. Service was great, considering everything is cooked to order, including the bread. The salad was great, as was my prosciutto stuff chicken. But, the rest of the food was served warm, and got cold really fast. The spaghetti sauce was bland; and, my wife said the meat balls only had a little flavor to them. Even desert was underwhelming; the texture of the cake was like cornbread. Still, Mom was happy, so I was happy. Not so sure about an immediate return."

"I've always heard wonderful things about Buca, and was really excited for my first trip there... only to be let down. The waitress seemed to be aggravated that it was my first time and she had to do her "routine sch-peel" about how things are ordered at Buca. The food came out in less than 10 minutes, which should sound like a good thing, but it was luke-warm at best, and tasted like something I'd thrown in the microwave before. It did not have an authentic Italian feel, taste, or experience that I was expecting. The atmosphere seemed to be fun for a large party, the seating and rooms accommodated that, we were a family of 5 and were in and out displeased within an hour... reservations at 6, in my car by 7. Not worth the anticipation."

"It's Buca di Beppo - how much of a review can you really expect. Good Italian, nothing that challenges the pallette, enormous portions - overall just a great place to take the kids and grandkids for a meal. Try the brownie hot fudge sundae - enough for 4 people AT LEAST and tasty too!"

"This was my mom's 77th birthday. I had to call about 5 times to change the reservation as we kept adding people. It was 7pm on a Saturday night..and it was a mad house! When we were seated our table was not for our needs....extremely loud and not at all private. My mom and I were very, very disappointed (she and some of her friends are hard of hearing). I asked the management about alternative tables, and Saturdays are just that way. Understandable, but disappointing. We ordered drinks and were going to make it a quick eat, when the manager came up to me and said she had a different table. I am not sure if they realized it or not, but that very action changed this review from poor to excellent. The new table was perfect."

"I have never had better service when dining with a group. Because portions are family size, "eating interaction" is a must! Now, while this style of eating often generates plenty of take home (because portions are so large, sometimes the needs of one dictate ordering a dish for many), but everyone is eating at the same time. Gone are issues with 1 person out of the group who doesn't have their dinner in front of them when everyone else has been served. We've always enjoyed the quality, as well as the service. For individual birthdays, our family can pick their restaurant...and over and over our family is picking Buca as the place to celebrate. This dining experience marks our fourth at this Buca, and we'll be back!!"
