Buca di Beppo serves authentic Italian cuisine in an eclectic, vintage setting. Our dishes are served family-style, meant to be shared by everyone at the table. Two sizes are available: BUCA SMALL feeds up to two and BUCA LARGE feeds up to four. At Buca, guests delight in our lively atmosphere, enjoy the classic tunes of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin and admire our décor, including family photos and candid shots of Italian-American icons, such as Sophia Loren and Joe DiMaggio. "We recently dined here with a group of 6 after a graduation and it was perfect for this type of get together. It was loud enough where we didn't have to worry about disturbing anyone by ourselves being loud but it wasn't so loud we couldn't hear one another. We loved the family style dinner b/c we ordered 3 or 4 entrees and got to try a little of everything. Would have rated 5 stars but thought it was a little pricey. Our total bill with tip was a little over $200 (which included a couple bottles of wine). We will definitely go back but not too often b/c of the price. Overall experience though was nice."

"We had a pleasant Mother's Day lunch here with 9 family members. Meal did take a LONG time to finish; the table behind us was seated after us and finished long before we did. We ordered quite a bit, including large salads, so maybe that was the issue. Food was generally very good family style fare, although not serving eggplant and chicken parmigiana with any pasta should be a crime. Everything is a la carte, including the normal side of spaghetti you get with these dishes. Considering the prices I think they could include that. Noise levels were high as is to be expected at this type of eatery. Parking was the only big issue - they need to negotiate space from Atlantic Seafood next door whose valet parking area was practically empty."

"We passed on our top choice to drive up to Alpharetta and try something new for Mother's Day. The food was very good as was the service, but a mix up in the reservations caused us to have to move after being seated and food service began. We were comped a dessert. However, from the start, service wasn't very smooth - as if we were being fit in with more important things the staff had to do... all three or four of them. Still, it was adequate for what we came for and the food was good. The Prosciutto Stuffed Chicken, Chicken Carbonara, and a carafe of the house Pinot Grigio is well recommended. I would return but only if I am in the area. We have a better option closer to home."

"Actually I was quite disappointed and I've been eating here for 14 years
1. Must have new computer system. Could not "bill" for my usual "bowl of bruschetta tomatoes". Charged me $11.99 for bowl of tomatoes that they added small bits of mozerella so they could bill it as capreze. I usually pay $4.00. Very inflexible computer system.
2. Could not get computer system to take off $10.00 coupon.
3. Brought another couple with us after I had raved about the restaurant and service.
4. I still miss John, our friendly bartender that had been there for years and years. Must be new management that is clearly not customer focused. Running on "rules".
5. Will still come back for the exceptional food."

"This was Easter Sunday but early afternoon. They were seating most of the people all in one or two areas. Leaving a large part of the restruant empty. This made it crowded and noisy for a resturant that was only 25% to 30% full. We ordered and received our salad but had to wait for over 5 minutes for plates for serve our salad on. Then we had to ask for bread which took another 5 minutes. Then we received our drinks, iced tea, and did not get straws for anough 5 minutes. All of this was totally caused by bunching up a lot of tables in one or two areas. We had four talbes in our area all seated almost at the same time. But only had one waiter. He was serving two tables of 4 and two tables of six. Thus he could not give any table good service"

We ate in the kitchen which was a hoot! and also, meant the chef brought us extra cheesy bread with fabulous marinara sauce for dipping. Our guests were from out of town and they just loved it! "When we pay $22 for a plate of Italian food, it is only natural to expect that the kitchen will know how to prepare the food properly. It was embarrousing and frustrating to need to send back our Chix Saltibaca because it was hard, dried out and stringy. I should not need to micro-manage your "CHEF" and tell him how to do his job."

"Our waitress was horrible, and that possibly ruined the whole evening. She couldn't get the cork out of our wine, and had to go to the bar. Then explained that cork was soooo dry, which was disturbing. We had 6 people at a long table, and she brought out 1 bread basket and 1 plate of oil for dipping and set them at opposite ends of the table.
We had calamari as an appetizer which came in this massive martini glass, it was so tall one of us had to get out of the booth and stand up to serve the rest of us. We weren't done with it when the waitress just walked by and took it. Didn't ask if we were done, or if wanted to save all that was left, she just took it! When we asked for spoons for dessert, she brought 1! For 6 of us!"

"We like Buca for special occasions as the pricing is a little high for our budget. We lucked out and got into the Pope room for our birthday celebration. That was a lot of fun. The food is terrific, we like the family-style that Buca uses. Our wait staff ignored us quite a bit that night but we were assertive and managed to get what we needed by flagging random servers down for help and getting up and walking into the kitchen to find somebody to help. We mitigate the high prices for pasta by looking for coupons on the internet. You can usually find one for at least $10 off. I recommend Buca di Beppo for special occasions. It is very nice and a fun place to eat."

The staff worked very hard to make sure we were sat in a quiet area as requested the food was very good and the serevice was spot on. Always have a reservation before going here on the weekend,this was my first time using this service- I was impressed everything was handled when I arrived. This made the experience even better.

"A large group of children were seated in the adjorning room from us (parents seated elsewhere), they were shouting and totally out of control. With all the noise, it was impossible to enjoy any conversation at our table and we weren't even in the same room with these children."
