"This was a recommendation of an innkeeper in the area for our anniversay dinner, and t did nto dissapoint. Location was lovely, and were it not for the rainy weather that night, I would have loved to sit outside and enjoy the gardens. Food was terrific and the service was spot on."

"We are regular patrons of Mary's Restaurant. Linda and Doug are fixtures in the Vermont localvore/restaurant scene. We congratulate them on their 30 year anniversary of fine food and hospitality! We've greatly enjoyed getting to know Linda and Doug; they are wonderfully warm and engaging. We aspire to join them on one of their culinary tours of Tuscany."

"One of my favorite restaurants in Vermont. Been going to Mary's since the early '80s. If I lived closer, I's go more often. This is a truly exceptional restaurant if you like food. And the service is top notch."

"Lovely country setting with several rooms for seating. For Easter dinner the fixed menu was a little pricey however the food was delicious at each of the 5 courses! The wait staff was knowledgable and delightful. It was a wonderful dinner for a special occasion while visiting Vermont on the holiday weekend."

"Each season Mary's introduces their new menu with special dinners that include an appetizer and an entree for an extremely reasonable price. We make it a priority to attend these special nights as the food is always excellent and it is such a great deal for a terrific meal. I would highly recommend them. When we visited on March 13, 2013 they were introducing their new spring menu. They had special entrees that included not one, but two of their entrees. It was really great. The food was excellent and there were many options to choose frome. And there was a beautiful roaring fire in the fireplace. We had a lovely evening and will definitely keep attending these great dinner specials."

"My wife and I went to the Inn for dinner, overnight and full Vermont country breakfast. The menu was the preview of their spring menu. We both got cream of garlic soup - a perennial favorite. My wife enjoyed her entree - a classy pulled pork sandwich. My entree was the Lobster Mac and Cheese, which was to die for, made with three different cheeses. The cheese was very subtle and did not overwhelm the lobster. We were the only guests in the dining room for breakfast. There was fresh snow on the ground outside the inn, which is in a beautiful location. Chef/Owner Doug Mack prepared and served the breakfast for us, which included freshly baked biscuits, fruit and a selection of entrees. My omelet was perfect, made with locally-sourced sausage."

"Our server, Brenda, was top notch...charming and very accommodating. The on-line reservation system was easy to use. I communicated two special requests via the on-line system which were more than accommodated by the Inn, including preparing a special dark chocolate cake for my husband's birthday, complete with candles; it was delicious."

"This is one of those restaurants that lived up to its review and hype. It is a wonderful Vermont inn that is just homey enough to be comfortable, but not so in your face that you know exactly what is up with everyone in the dining room. Food was great, a wonderful mix of local, seasonal, and regionally appropriate dishes. I had the rabbit, and it was fall off the bone savory goodness. I won't be waiting 8 years to go back!"

"Doug Mack, the owner and chef, is great at making wonderful sauces. He a master at blending flavors.He uses fresh locally grown products, some from his own property. He changes things up constantly, offering diner theater, meet the producers, change of season and more. All events are ideas that blend the concept of enjoying food indoors, outdoors, with a play, with the producers of the food,etc. If you are not there for an event, you just want to enjoy great dinning, Mary's at Baldwin Creek is the place to be. Always fresh local produce, meats,cheeses, beers and wines. Always excellently prepared meals, with an eye-pleasing presentation, featuring exciting and unusual tastes, all offered in a great country setting. You can't go wrong."
