"From the view to the service and at last the food it was an amazing experience. Our server was fun, friendly on on top of everything. The rose' was nice and chilled and our meals (Steak and seafood and the Lobster salad) perfectly prepared. I would be definitely going back!"

"We always enjoy dining in the Primrose Dining room. Our waiter was great and the food was very good too. The problem was the table behind us. There were two families with 4 children, who ran wild for two hours. What is wrong with people? These children should have been in bed hours before. Better yet, they should have been at MacDonalds. The next time we are seated next to a large family with several children, we will request to be moved to a quieter end of the restaurant."

"Excellent food, excellent value. Really enjoyed our meals at the Primrose. Sunday brunch (buffet) was terrific value and so is their 3-course dining special. I hope to return soon!"

"If you are ever in Banff, you HAVE to go to the primrose, the is amazing. A traditional menu with a true RimRock touch that will stay in your memory for the longest time.

"My son and I enjoyed both the Prime Rib Buffet on Friday evening, and the Breakfast Buffet on Saturday morning. On Friday night we were treated to a fresh salad prepared before our eyes by one of the chefs. The dressing was fresh and sublime. What a nice treat. Then we enjoyed delicious prime rib with some very hot horse radish, potatoes and crisp vegetables. The dessert buffet was beautifully presented complete with a chocolate fountain. The food was consistently good, and the view is great. Both of our servers were friendly, attentive and polite. I will go back the next time I'm in Banff!"

"Thanks to the other Open Table reviewers we chose this one when we were half way to Banff. Yes, try the mushroom tart appetizer!! And the 2012 award winning lobster pasta dish was incredible.
My friend and I travel once a year and treat ourselves to wonderful food. The Primrose room fit the bill! And, book a table by the window....what a view of the rockies! Highly recommended."

"My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at the Primrose, located in the Rimrock Hotel. We actually went twice during out 5 day stay. We ate at the Wednesday night Pasta Buffet, which was very popular with the locals as well as the hotel guests. We also had a wonderful dinner on our last night. The rib eye was superb, cooked to perfection, and melted in your mouth.
My wife had the braised lamb shank. It was to die for! She was kind enough to offer me a forkful of the dish. It was delicious!"

"The service and food were excellent. Upon arriving we were informed that we had booked our reservation during Earth hour and there would be not lights, just candle light for our dining experience. This turned out to be exceptional and the staff handled the atmosphere with great abilities. The staff was fun and extremely professional. A great fine dining experience"

"Great experinece however the night we were at the restaurant we experienced some bugs in our food (salad). The staff immediately removed the plate and offered us something else and to their credit made up for the issue by offering us a complimentary appetizer and drink. So all was not lost..."

"Love going to the Primrose. Have had some memorable meals. Love the ambience when there are the only the 2 of us.
