Besito (which means Little Kiss, in English) serves authentic Mexican food and serves their famous tableside guacamole and Besito Patron Margarita. Besito serves Lunch and Dinner every day of the week. "The food was excellent & our waiter was friendly, helpful & professional.
As with most restaurants these days, the customers were very loud, but
this is not unusual in our dining experience. It seems that most people are
unaware of those around them are trying to enjoy dinner and their own
conversation. There's not much a restaurant can do to reduce the noise
level when it's their own clientele responsible.

"I went with my husband on a Thursday night for a date night. We had a great seat in a corner booth. Nice ambience and romantic setting. There was music playing softly in the background. The food here is consistent and always tasty. Our server was attentive and very helpful explaining the menu items."

"We are Besito fans and highly recommend. The margaritas are excellent. Staff is attentive and make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk into the restaurant. Tableside guacamole is delicious as well as everything on the menu. We highly recommend Besito. If you are looking to unwind, party, kick back, or just have a nice night out, this is the place for you. Not your regular Mexican food. Absolutely, deliciousl."

"We had been meaning to go to this restaurant for some time, but somehow we never did go. It always seemed to be packed whenever we walked by.
Now we know why.
The food is excellent, the service is exceptional and the ambiance terrific.
It is not cheap, but you get your money's worth.
We had the signature Margarita's to start, the guacamole and ceviche. The guacamole is prepared at the table, so you know it is fresh.
I had the fish boudin, a kind of pie, and my wife had pork and pineapple tacos. We finished with tres leches and coffee.
It was a memorable meal"

"I've been coming to Besito for about 4 years now. Every single time you go there whether it's a quiet winter night or busy Cinco de Mayo the service and food is phenomenal! This particular night was very special. I invited several friends for a gathering. I knew that Besito would be a great choice that would impress my friends. Our waitress was wonderful. She was very descriptive about the menu and specials and patient with the new guests. The food is always so fresh and flavorful. The only complaint I have is that it's becoming so popular you have to make your reservations early in the week!"

"Besito yet again did not disappoint. The food, service, and excellent bar selections are some of the perks of dining here. "I recently reserved a table at Besito Huntington on opentable.com for Cinco de Mayo. I was all excited as it was restaurant week. After our appetizers were delivered I asked the waitress, it was restaurant week, right? She told us, NO! I would of not ordered appetizers and entrees! She told us it was posted on their website that they weren't participating on Sunday. The manager came over and explained to me they weren't participating due to being a holiday. I explained to him I booked using opentable.com and there was nothing noted on their website. He said, Sorry! Are you kidding me? I thought the manager would of been more apologetic and understood the big mistake on their part and my part. I will not be back!"

"It was our first time at Besito and everything was delicious...from the house margaritas to the guacomole, salmon and mahi entrees, and perfect berry dessert. We also loved that we weren't rushed at all. Our server, Kaitlin, allowed us time to talk and digest between courses. We had a wonderful evening and will definitely be back again!"

"My wife and I have been there so many times and every single time it's fantastic. This is by far our favorite place to eat on long island. Drinks are outrageous and the food is superb! Our waiter Joseph was very knowledgeable about the menu and tequila and his service was terrific. We also love how the managers come to your table multiple times and ask if you are ok. "One of my favorite restaurants around, but disappointed that you keep cutting the churros shorter and shorter! I was there 2 weeks ago and they were half size. Last night they were 1/3 size. I hope they aren't headed towards churro tots! Maybe it was just for restaurant week. Food is fantastic, as always. Still bummed that my formerly favorite dish was changed from barramundi to mahi mahi- the barramundi was sooooo much better than the mahi mahi! I really wish you would switch it back. I don't order it anymore, but everything I order is always super yummy!"

"Besito definitely has two repeat customers! After an excellent dining experience as part of the Long Island Restaurant Week, the fiance and I can't wait to return and bring friends along with us! Our server was amazing, very knowledgeable and attentive without crowding, the Besito Margarita was divine and the food was heavenly! I absolutely recommend the queso fundido and enchiladas suizas - the fiance had fun with his mixtos create your own taco type dish. Desserts were tasty, but at that point I was a bit stuffed from the previous courses. Overall - Everything was delicious!"

"This was our 3rd time at this restaurant and it has become one of our top 5 favorite places to dine. Our first time was OK as we really couldn't understand everything the waiter was saying so we kind of winged it but the last two times we had Joe as our waiter who was a pleasure to have as our server. He was extremely passionate about the food and made everything sound so delicious and you wanted to try everything on the menu. He did tell us he was leaving in a few weeks and no longer will be working there so I do hope we find another waiter with the same passion as he had so that we will continue to have more positive experiences there."

"Have eaten here before and were always pleased with food and service. We arrived for our 4PM reservation (through Open Table) which they claimed they didn't have. Had to show them my confirmation email. Grandma had joined us (so went from 4 ppl to 5 ppl), and they would not accommodate us. The restaurant was full of empty tables. Manager didn't seem to know what he was doing (nor did he care to). We went to restaurant next door. Still empty tables when we left 2 hours later. Not good management or customer service. We have been here before, but will not return."

"Very disappointing. The noise level was such that it was almost impossible to have a conversation. Not only was it noisy due to being crowded but the music was way too loud even after we asked if it could be lowered. The food was way overpriced for what it was. I had one of the specials which was extremely disappointing. The chips and dips were the best part of the meal. To pay well over $200 (not including a tip and no dessert) for Mexican food for 4 people is outrageous. They will never see me again and I would discourage anyone from dining there."

"Since opening, this has become our go-to restaurant. As the size of Churro they give you at the end has declined from 1 whole Churro per person to a 1/3 of a Churro per person now, we have never walked out disappointed. The tequila menu is fantastic and there are some great options and values (if you are familiar w/ typical bottle costs). The Guac is always amazing to the last bite. Fish is always fresh and tasty. Vegetable dishes & sides also always done properly. As we have started to eat more healthy (less meat and dairy) - we have been able to continue enjoying Besito. Always a recommendation."

"We've been to Besito in both Roslyn and Huntington several times and have always recommended it. This visit was less than what we expected - the food arrived cold to our table, coffee was never refilled, and we were handed the check without getting a chance to see the dessert menu. We found these problems surprising since we've never been disappointed before."

"Food was moderate portions but very filling. A crazy drink menu and being in management in retail customer service is always something I look for and it was great. Great wait staff, managers were on the floor but not annoying asking you how you food was every 3 secs. First time there and definitely won't be my last. If going ask for Chris. Made great suggestions, knew the bar list and menu perfectly. Made you feel valuable and important. Honestly not 1 complaint."

"I have been to Besito a number of times and it was always a pleasant experience. Not this time !!! Took over 35 minutes to get a drink (just a shot of gin over ice). Sat at table for quite a while before our food order was taken. We arrived at 6:30 and had to leave for a 8:00 show at the Paramount. Did not get food or drink until after 7:15.
Food (stuffed chili rellano) were just okay and not very warm.
What happen ? I never complain but I was not happy at all and, in fact, embarrassed as it was my suggestion to my friends that we go to Besito."

"Finally tried besito all the reviews I had read about it were good, and it was. Of course we had the guacamole I had the carnitas all the food was very good. What struck me the most though was that all the employees seemed to be happy to be there they were all smiling and friendly, I really liked that. At the end of the meal we were given some churros I ate one there and took one home, even later it was
crispy and not greasy i really enjoyed that and they give you a little worry doll as well. They were small touches that made a great meal even more enjoyable. So great food and drink, fun atmosphere, happy friendly employees and good prices, what's not to like!!!!"
