Our restaurant is warm and inviting with exposed beams and a mission-style décor, as well as a bar, several gas-burning fireplaces and two semi-private rooms for small functions of eight to 10 guests.
Our eclectic menu features innovative American Regional fare, a delightful selection of appetizers, an array of daily specials, a carefully selected wine list and Sunday brunch. We believe in using the freshest ingredients possible, while supporting local suppliers. Our crab cakes especially, have gotten rave reviews – moist, tender, abundantly flavorful, packed with jumbo crabmeat and no fillers – and never breaded or fried!
Our event facility can host meetings, birthdays, christenings, anniversaries, luncheons and weddings. It offers an elegant pre-function room for hosting the cocktail hour and a ballroom that can accommodate up to 250 guests with a veranda overlooking the private lake.
"Service was friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and we will definitely come back to try other choices. Wish it were closer to my home but then I would be there every week. Love the place!"

"This past Mother's Day, I wanted to take my gf out for a nice romantic dinner. Jackpot! For a romantic night out, this was perfect. The lighting was kinda dim, but that only accented the candles (and the mood) even more. The food was great. The service was good, everyone was friendly. The waitress checked on us regularly but not so much that would ruin the mood- smart. The dessert (creme bulee) was done quite well. We were so full, it took us 20 minutes to leave lol! I look forward to our next visit :)"

"We made reservations for lunch, with a party of 10, for a special celebration. After seating us, we waited 20 minutes to give our order and then another 20 for bread. This wouldn't be the worst thing-if the food was good, but it wasn't. After waiting an hour and fifteen minutes, our order arrived. Our party ordered a variety of dishes, from salads to hot turkey sandwiches to chicken pot pie to flounder. Everyone of us uses the word 'processed' to describe how it tasted...except for the one person who ordered a BLT sandwich, he said his was good. Service was ridiculous. Lunch was over 3 hours WITHOUT coffee, desserts-we didn't dare order in fear that we would be another hour. Completely disappointing and a let down, we wont be going back."

"The four of us were thrilled with our meals. The bartender knows how to make just about anything. Appetizers like panko crusted goat cheese is a must. The fried calamari is excellent, as is the coconut shrimp. Crab cakes are all lump crab meat, no filler. Beef tips were tender and served at the temperature requested. Desserts were also incredible. Our server, Kathy was terrific, and didn't miss a beat."

"The food was not good at all. I had soup and calamari friti as an entree. It was so over cooked that it was like eating potato chips. My wifes meal also very poorly done. Our first visit here was very good but coming back this time makes this our last visit here."

"Great experience! Food was great - our waitress was very friendly and helpful, and the prices were good. I'd highly recommend it! I went out to dinner with my mother, but the ambiance at Copperfield would be great for a date or romantic night out as well."

"Three of us dined here on a Tuesday night. It was quiet and cozy. The Steak salad was amazing. Chicken parmesan was terrific. My baked potato was overcooked, and the Filet Mignon wasn't cooked to the correct temperature, twice, but our server Janell made up for the chef's mistake and was an attentive and thoughtful server. Desserts were awesome, one was free due to the Filet mishap. This continues to be one of the closest and delicious places to eat in our area. The beer selection has room for improvement. Everyone makes mistakes, it's how they are handled that sets one apart. They handled the undercooked Filet issue perfectly. Chocolate Chip Wontons are to die for!!"

"We dined with our friend from NY, and he was very happy with the food. He had the beef tips and they were outstanding. We opted for a lighter meal, so we had the appetizer sampler. I couldn't eat the samosas because they were much to hot (spicy) for my liking, but my husband loved them. The panko crusted goat cheese was amazing. The hummus was disappointingly bland. Not enough garlic or tahini. The caesar salad was terrific and the dressing to die for! Dessert was awesome. Both cheesecakes were incredible and my oatmeal caramel bar was delicious. The bar needs ice cream though to cut the sweetness. Peach sangria put a smile on my face! Copperfield Inn is only 15 minutes from our house - YAY!"

"WOW! So close to home and so awesome! Panko crusted goat cheese appetizer was amazing. Hot crispy and soft inside, tomato jam was heavenly. Peach Sangria was incredibly refreshing and light, yet after two I was a little buzzed, Yay! Chicken Portchini, porcini mushrooms, roasted red peppers with a Port wine reduction sauce - Fab-u-lous! I wish you could hear me singing it! Chicken crepes, OMG, delectable and flavorful and the best ever meal! Dessert was also to die for - we had 4! Lemon bar, caramel oatmeal indulgences, vanilla ice cream, and chocolate chip won tons with requested caramel sauce! I'm so full I could cry. Food coma and what a way to go! Janelle was out server and was truly wonderful. YES! We'll be back!!!"

"This was our 3rd visit. The first visit I was not very happy with the meal, then again they had just opened. When we went back a year later for my mom's birthday the food was great, service was great too. This past time we went back for our 25th wedding anv. and we had a very nice night."

"My wife, son, and I had dinner there on Valentine's Day. It was our first time to The Copperfield Inn. The food, the service, and the ambiance was wonderful. It was a great experience and we will definitely return.

"Although it took a while for the food to come out, the bread was quite tasty. Recommend getting an appetizer to help get through to the delicious entree. Portions are a good size, we had leftovers. We love that there is a decent childrens menu complete with dessert included."
