There’s no excuse to hit Vegas without going out for a steak. That’s why P.J. Clarke’s New York Chophouse serves up six different cuts – including our hometown’s New York Strip. Add in a classic cocktail and a plate of ice cold oysters shucked fresh from the marble–topped Raw Bar and your Vegas dining experience is complete.
P.J. Clarke’s, a New York institution with more than a century of history behind it, brings its heritage to Las Vegas. Make no mistake the atmosphere here is authentic P.J. Clarke’s, with hardwood paneling, a century–old, hand–carved Phoenix Bar, vintage jukebox, and photos of Vegas legends plastering the walls.
"The meal was okay, not as good as the Original in New York City. Server was very good. Since I was staying at Caesars it did not pay for me to rush over to have dinner at PJ Clarke's, there are a number of restaurants at Caesars plus The Palm that would of been just as good or even better."

"We dined at the P.J.Clarke's Chophouse in Las Vegas to celebrate a special event with family. We had previously dined at the Washington, DC location in Summer of 2012 and we were anticipating the same experience - great service and outstanding food. The restraunt was not busy and there were only a few tables occupied when we arrived for an 8 PM resrvation. Our first server was not attentive, took our beverage ordered, started to remove wine glasses, which we harshed about as we planned to order wine with dinner. We waited more than 10 minutes for beverages at which time we asked for a new server. Our second server was outstanding. The food was not great, dry steaks, crab cake was okay, but served very different from the DC location."

"I guess I assume that when you pay NYC restaurant prices, you should get NYC level of service but unfortunately the service and PJ Clarks in Las Vegas was clumsy and inept. The food was very good, and the bone-in filet one of the best, but at these prices the service should be top notch, or maybe I am just asking too much from Vegas."

"Dined at P.J. Clarke's for first time. The atmosphere was great, crowded, excellent location to eat on patio and people watch. I had read reviews prior to booking and have to agree with most regarding the service - it could improve. Pet peeve of mine is waiters that struggle to open a bottle of wine correctly. Our waiter broke cork, left pieces all in my poured glass and didn't even notice. Waiters attitude just seemed blah, didn't talk up anything on the menu nor seemed to have any energy throughout the evening. I did see energetic waiters at neighboring tables so it could have just likely been we got the rough one. Nice place like this deserves energetic staff who want to be there."

"Only complaint here was the noise. Restaurant/bar music was far too loud. Place had about 20 people in it total and I couldn't hear the person sitting next to me. Food and service made up for it, however. The hostesses seemed distracted as it took quite awhile for someone to surface and seat us initially despite having a reservation meaning they presumably knew we were coming."

"It was amazing. The $99 for two special with two appetizers, an entrée to share (huge portion) and two desserts was such a steal. They also let you order their happy hour oysters for a dollar each away tomorrow the bar!! Service and atmosphere was also great. Can't believe we had such a great meal in Caesars palace for this price."

"3-6pm daily is $1 each oysters on the half shell! They are fabulous, sit at the Oyster Bar, watch them be shucked in front of you and eat away! For non oyster enthusiasts, they have $1.50 sliders also. BUT GO FOR THE OYSTERS! What an amazing deal in Las Vegas. Great service too!"

"Overall the experience at P.J. Clarkes was disappointing. The Porterhouse steak was very good but the salad was uninspiring and the dessert was ok. We ordered the $99 dinner for 2 special and were VERY disappointed with the wine selections - NOT what is advertised online! Our server Carlos was great and had alot of personality. I would not go back as the prices are high for average food."

"It was too loud, felt more like a,sports bar and not fine dining. The dress code suggested was business casual but many diners were wearing shorts and tanks. Our waiter was very soft spoken so we had a hard time hearing him over the loudness from the bar area. The lobster mac & cheese was not very good. The location was hard to find in Ceasars."

"Server couldn't answer basic quesitons about the menu. Food was just ok, defintely nothing special or even memorable, especially for the prices. Large portion of Steak for two was served with some of the meat cut away from the bone; and large bone with most of meat left-on was served on the platter. That was fine. However, we asked for a bag for leftovers. Upon opening bag later,(at home), no bone had been inculded! Thus, through no-fault of our own, half of very expensive meal was left out by the Restaurant. We would not return."

"First the good: We went for the $99 2-person special. It was awesome. The steak was cooked exactly as requested and the twin lobster tails were delicious. Not to mention the cheesecake!! Our waiter was THE BEST!!
Now the bad: Would have preferred the music a little lower. It was so loud we had to really speak loud just so the person across the table could hear us. It really is a nice restaurant and they could make the ambiance much better by not having the music pounding so loud."

"I wouldn't say this restaurant was bad, but not really great either...middle of the road steak and lobster house. The lobster was just "OK" but you could tell it wasn't top quality as the taste and texture were middle of the road also, but we did expect that for only $49..."

"We had the February special - $99 for two which included steak and two lobsters plus a bottle of wine that was listed for $37 on the menu! Service great, sat on the patio and watched the mall goers and food was fantastic. I'll skip the lobster next time and just go with the steak. Fantastic!"

"Went with my wife and another couple for their $99 dinner for 2 special. It was one of the best meals we have ever had! The service was great and the food was fantastic! This has to be the best steak dinner for the price in Las Vegas. We definitely would go again!"

"The good was pricey but tasty. The happy hour specials are really good, especially the oysters. The hostess' are a little unprofessional, but the rest of the staff was good. We hung out at the oyster bar for a while with 2 great schukers who were friendly and efficient. The $99 couple special is an awesome deal."

"My fiance and I went here for our birthdays/Valentine's day (his is on V-day and mine is the day after). The food wasn't over-the-top amazing, but we still enjoyed it. Our waiter made the experience great by giving me a flower for Valentine's Day and both of us a shot glass for our birthdays. We did the Valentine's Day special which was a 5 course meal for $199. I thought it was a bit pricey for the food choices, but overall, it was a good experience!"

"This was our first time to eat at this restaurant. It was okay but the food was mediocre. We are locals. We might go back for happy hour or for a burger but there are way better restaurants for the money."

"The $99 Steak & Lobster dinner for two, bottle of wine, salad and desert was better than most $200+ dinners I've had in L.V. Ask for a table in Johnny V.'s section. Outstanding Waiter!"

"Booked a reservation to have a nice romantic dinner meal after the Celine Dion. First of all had a hard time finding the location. Hostess was more interested in talking with the waiter than attending to us. Even with other customers that came by, seemed very disinterested in getting business in the restaurant. Ordered the 40 oz prime grade porterhouse. I'm a chef and this did not look to be anywhere near 40 oz. It was also chewy with a large sinew throughout the striploin side of the meat. Meat was tasty, desserts needs to have lots of help. Online they had a nice selection of wine with the special. At the restaurant, it was non existent. Will not go there anymore with that service."

"The oysters I had during happy hour for an appetizer were outstanding. My pork chops had good flavor but were overcooked and dry. The waiter did not explain the happy hour drink specials and we were led to believe our drinks were 2 for 1 until our bill came & the drinks we were drinking were not included. My wife enjoyed her filet mignon steak. My friend said his skirt steak and fries were cold. His wife had the risotto that were good but were overpriced and were nothing special. I would not recommend this place unles you want great oysters. The service was ok but the server was smug and not friendly. Out of all of the meals we had during our trip in Vegas, it was near the bottom."

"Great food. Everything was done exactly how we ordered it. We took advantage of the $99 special. You get a choice of soup or salad (2), share an entree - we ordered the twin lobster tails and Delmonico steak - and choice of cheesecake or bread pudding. The lobster tails were large and juicy and the steak huge and very flavorful. On top of that you get a bottle of wine! Definitely a bargain!"
