"Took my mother there for her birthday. We had a very nice dinner and the service was excellent and the food was very good. Would very much recommend the place especially if you are going on a weekday night, we practically had the place to ourselves. It was a nice quiet dinner with the family."

"Very good food at a reasonable price .... however, my party of three was placed directly beside a group of 8-10 who were very loud. I had early reservations and the dining area was fairly vacant at the time. We could/should have been seated elsewhere. I felt I was placed in an area of disrespect. It will be surprising if I ever consider driving 30 miles to eat here again."

"Very Busy Restaurant on special occasions...staff always very friendly and efficient. We choose Agave for it's location to home and generally good food. Getting a bit weary of the mashed potatoes and vegetables though. We appreciate ala dente vegetables but Agave's are way to hard...please no more carrots and broccolini that we can not cut or chew. Food this time was hotter than at Valentine's Day and the salad was excellent as well as the desert!"

"We usually choose Agave restaurant for our special occasions like Easter, New Years, Mothers Day, etc., because they usually have a three course meal for $25.00 which includes your choice of delicious salad, your choice of main dish such as prime rib, salmon, steak, and several others, and then you get a yummy desert. We have always enjoyed their special menus and the service is usually pretty fast."

"Excellent taste, great presentation, front of restaurant has great ambiance, back does not. Brittany was a great server. Timing between courses very very good.
Hostesses at door. A bit overwhelmed, not too gracious or welcoming. Very young and seemingly untrained. They had to rush away to set tables for two parties, even though we had a reservation. Polish this item off, and you'll have an overall excellent restaurant."

"Calamari appetizer was cold, tough and over-breaded. It was served with poor tartar sauce and thousand island dressing. The prime rib sandwiches were OK, but served with an odd au jus . . . It had been thickened to the consistency of honey and did not taste good; standard au jus would have been much better. Service was good and it's a pretty place. Three of us enjoyed the experience, except for the food."

"This time I was very disappointed in the food. The appearance was creatve, but for the price I paid, for tender tips, the amount was very small, and there was a piece of old italian bread buried under the tips to make it look like there was a generous amount, also the vegetables were good, but 1 small carrot, 1 little piece of broccoli, and 2 meager slices of peppers. for 2 people our total bill came to over $50.00 and my husband drank 1 beer and I had water!I will p[robably NOT go back there again.
However, the service was excellent, the waitress was conscientious, and took very good care of us , She even brought out a birthday cake for a member of our party who was having a birthday."

"salad was excellent - very chilled and dressing better than expected. The calamari had a very strange coating - wondered if it wasn't mixed properly as had a gritty texture. Calamari itself was excellent and very tender - I ended up removing the coating as it wasn't good. Fried ice cream was good but not nearly as good as the fried ice cream on the menu from previous visits/previous chef. Overall good but not enough to want to drive the 20 miles to eat there again. The service was excellent. I was there with three other people and all commented on how good the salads and soup were - other items didn't get as much positive comments."

"Lovely restaurant, friendly staff, very clean, quiet but cheerful, presentation of food beautiful but not as well cooked as I would have liked. My prime rib was very tough, the veggies pretty to look at but not very good to eat. Mashed white and sweet potatoes delicious. The calamari was very nice, a little chewy although the coating was delicious and beautifully crispy. The fried ice cream was a dreamy dessert but ice cream was quite melted inside. My Piña Colada Marguarita was delicious. Service was perfect and My friends and I had a wonderful time. I definitely will come back but will try your fresh fish next time."

"The staff was marvelous. We attended the restaurant on a Wednesday evening. It was not too crowed. Prices were very reasonable. Food was good but not amazing. I had the prime rib and my wife had the house salad. She thought the salad was good. I my self thought the prime rib was good. I would compare it to texas road house quality and with that being said I was expecting a bit more for this place. This is why I dont think it was amazing and rather just good."

"I am happy to tell you about our meal. When it arrived at our table the vegetables were cold including the garlic mashed potatoes. One of our friends fish was burned on the bottom so much that he couldn't eat that portion of the fish. We went to the Agave expecting a great dinner and was really dissapointed. Our server told the kitchen about the gentleman's fish and he was given dessert and four spoons. We happened to run into David in the Sportsbar of the casino (he was just passing through) and expressed our dissatisfaction......
We were not offered the wine list and one in our party would probably have ordered wine.....

"The food presentation was excellent & the food was prepared exactly as we ordered it. The quality of the food that we ordered was five star. Don't know who your head Chief is, but He or She should be commended. Best food We have had in a long time.
Our waitress provided us excellent service. She made us feel welcome like we were special guests. A great dining experience."

"NO SMOKE! Unlike Desert Diamond's sister upscale Steakhouse Restaurant at the Casino on Old Nogales Hwy south of Valencia. The Steakhouse you must walk through the VERY SMOKEY Casino. The Agave Restaurant has separate exterior entrance from the Casino. Very pleasant if you really enjoy tasting your food and not tasting smoke."

"We tried to book for a party of 15 but this was not availble to us so we booked a table of 11 plus a table 4, this did not go down well with friends having to sit on a different table so they canceled out (the table of 4 ), to my amazement there was room for a table of 20 if we needed it at the north end of restrauant were they seated us can you explain this situation. collin & linda werner ps booked online"

"When seated we told our waitress tht we were celebrating our 60th anniversary. She said "Congratulations". We thought that we might get a small complimentary gesture such as a small cake or cupcake etc. So, we were a little disappointed."

"We've enjoyed the Agave for 8 years. Food is always good. Service this time was not so good--although usally at least acceptable. We waited for a long time for our waitress--finally had to complain at the front desk, and it still took another 10 minutes. When she came we asked about the delay--("Well, I had to handle the checks at the big table over there") Told her we expected service too, but that fell on deaf ears. Food was good as always (although my prime rib was more steak than prime rib--and not medium as I ordered) Overall, not as good an experience as we usually have. Prices have gone up, but it seems the expected service level has gone down."

"We had to ask for rolls and water. We felt the menu was too full of rich items. We prefer no sauces or unusual flavors. We used to LOVE Agave. First you did away with the wonderful rolls (one of which was chocolate flavored) and this trip we asked for flourless chocolate cake and learned you don't have that any longer. Bring those back along with some of the items from the old menu and we would come back on a regular basis. Thank you."

"I looked forward to going to Agave for the past two years, since my husband and I bought a home here. I had been there once three years ago with my stepson and his wife and really liked it so recommended it to my husband. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were very pleased with everything--the decor, the friendly hostess, and the perky waitress. We enjoyed our cocktail and soup. Then the exquisitely presented entree arrived. My husband's Louisiana styled pasta was excellent, especially the sausage, though a little too oily. My lamb tenderloin, on the other hand was inedible. It was done medium rare as I requested but had not one whit of flavor (blindfolded I wouldn't have known what kind of meat I was eating; it was also sinewy."

"This has been a regular haunt for about 8 years. New chef and new menu are generally a disappointment. It took an hour to resolve a mistake made by the Casino staff on a "reward" reducing the bill by $15. No one seemed to be in charge. This place used to be filled to capacity every evening. In the last year, it seems to be less than a quarter filled. They have lost their touch. Service was good and three of the four meals quite good. The fish and chips crust was spongy rather than crispy."
