"This was a business lunch for six of us so not always an easy feat. We had a nice inside table, most people were outside on the patio where it was gorgeous, so we had most of the interior to ourselves. Our waiter was very patient with us since we were talking and conducting business. Lunch was light and great and overall the restaurant was perfect for our needs."

"It had been along time since we had been to Delicias, a former favorite for special treats. We were disappointed to find the restaurant more typical than terrific. The calamari was served and looked like Howard Johnson's fried clams , over- breaded and overcooked. The ceasar salad was boring. Our entrees were really good and dessert was delicious. (We do miss the baby cakes) It was a nice dinner with wonderful service in a beautiful setting, but just not the Delicias it once was.
We used to go for a special night and knew it would be the best we'd had from start to finish."

"First time tried it for lunch and overall very pleasant experience. Good range of items on the menu. Two of us had fish taco which was very tasty and light. Beautiful weather for sitting on the patio - only downside was a delivery truck parked outside the restaurant distracted from the lovely view"

"For a long time this used to be a RSF hot-spot, but after changing management and menus several times in the past few years, it's very quiet - even on a Friday night. Food was ok, but not great, with fish entrees overcooked. Prices very high for what you get. Not a great value."

"Well worth any visit. Started off with cocktails and several light appetizers (flat bread and calamari), moved to main course of Filet Mignon and the Short Ribs. "Went for Valentines Day. We were seated outside by the street. The heating was ample, but I never realized so many loud cars passed through Rancho Santa Fe at night.
I'll keep this short...
The food was very tasty and well prepared/presented.
The waiter was very hard to get hold of. I soon asked for breadsticks or bread just before my date pointed out that all the other tables seated after us already had a bread basket. We thought our exclusion was odd.
The drinks were good, but surprisingly all double digit in price.

"Food was outstanding. Robert was our waiter. We recommended the whole fish special and scallops appetizer for two of us. Never tried to up sell. Listened to what we wanted and recommended the perfect meal. Some very special about him and his service. Great place to celebrate a special occasion.
