NBA City is a complete dining and entertainment venue offering its guests award winning cuisine, exclusive NBA/WBNA authentic merchandise and an interactive basketball game area for fans of all ages.
"NBA City did a great job of hosting me and three friends for game 3 of the NBA Finals 2013.
Firstly, they were able to seat us earlier than our booking (we finished our rides at Island of Adventure 45 minutes earlier than expected) which was great since we were all soaking wet. After some enquiries, we were given the best view in the restaurant (which was good since I made a specific request for a good view when I booked). Service was FANTASTIC, I think the waiter got about a 20% tip. Food was very good and the atmosphere was excellent (a bit too many Heat band-waggoners for my liking but that's another story haha).
I'd happily recommend NBA City to fans who want to watch a Finals game in the Universal area. Top marks all-round"

"The food was good but the service was terrible. The waitress kept saying they were over whelmed in the kitchen. Waited 30 minutes for our food, our waitress disappeared for 20 minutes at a time. Tried to order dessert but after placing the order and waiting 15 minutes the waitress came back and said it would be another five minutes. I cancelled the dessert order and then asked for the check. 10 minutes later we finally got to leave. Overall not a good experience."

"The service was fantastic! I took my husband to NBA City for dinner, and he was super excited for it! He loved the food. The drinks were very good (I had the hurricane). My food was pretty good....I LOVED the bow tie pasta with garlic sauce and the salmon was pretty good, though could've been a little more tender. Other than that small detail, it was awesome! Our server was fantastic (unfortunately I can't remember his name :()! We had made reservations, but we didn't really need them. Our server even brought out a sundae for my husband's birthday! Great big screen tvs for the games and fun atmosphere! Unfortunately, it was a little pricier for our budget, which is why it's a special occasion place."

"The service was great, our server Brian was super fast friendly, and attentive. NBA city Is a cool concept and the decor is a lot of fun but the food? Blah. It seemed like food youd get at Dennys except more expensive. It has no aesthetic appeal, and it tasted bland. I would totally come back if the food wasn't so crummy."

"Our family was so excited to be in Orlando to watch the Heat game at NBA city. I had made a reservation a few days before our arrival and when we get there they ask us to go up to the top of the stairs and the hostess will sit us. She tried to sit my family of four in a small corner. I tried to explain to her that I had made a reservations and asked if we can sit by the big tv's. she was not politie about it. I let her know there was a table available in the area we had requested and she refused to listen. That is our first and last time going there. That is unfortunate because we tend to travel in large sports groups and we are always looking for new restaurants to go to."

"Shame that such a hyped up website doesn't live up to the experience. No real nostalgia in the place. The store is wicked small and overpriced. Lastly, the food was a dissapointment. With quite a number of other restaurant experiences to choose from, I would stay away from NBA City."

"I am not sure what I was expecting, but it was not it! It was an NBA themed restaurant, meaning, they had NBA TV on the screens and basketball memorabilia on the walls. Some of the servers had NBA shirts on and there were some basketball shooting arcade style games. They had a pretty decent store to buy NBA gear. Now to the food. It was much better than your normal theme restaurant. Great choices and large portions. I would highly recommend it for the food, but if you want that NBA thing, whatever that is, you might be disappointed."

"This theme restaurant was not busy yet we waited for nearly an hour for our food while the wait staff ran around like decapitated chickens. We were seated next to the swinging doors from the kitchen, where we could read the sign on the doors that said "Don't kick me" which they did constantly. Our booth had a flat screen TV on the wall which was difficult to look at from the seats because of the proximity and angle. There was no sound and you could not control the content, which was ESPN (fine, but not related to NBA theme even though basketball was on other channels). The NBA theme was one of the weakest points of the experience -- limited to some cartoon graphics on the walls. No interesting NBA paraphernalia,no NBA video."

"I expected a top notch NBA experience, and what we got was a run down tourist trap. Any basketball features were token fed, and poorly maintained (ripped nets and under inflated balls). Other than a few photo's, and some big screen TV's, there was little to connect the average person to the basketball league. Food was extremely overpriced, we paid over $100 for a family of 4, with no booze. The NBA should look at what they are lending their name to."

"Surprisingly better quality food than we expected. We expected the restaurant to focus on the NBA theme and ignore food taste and quality but not so. All of our meals were good. The ambiance was fun too"
