"As a vegetarian, I was initially impressed by the vegan and vegetarian selections. My excitement ended after I took my first bite. I ordered a potato pancake with marinated chickpeas and was disappointed. The dish had no flavor or texture and appeared to have been microwaved. I enjoy spicy food, but my entree was overwhelmingly spicy to the point all other flavors were masked. The naan was cold. The server was inattentive as we constantly had to ask for water glasses to be refilled. My fiancé ordered a glass of wine based on its price, but when the bill came discovered it was another price. He told the server, who could have handled the situation with more tact. I have had much better and better priced Indian food in the DC area."

"Food quality seems to have gone down. We went there after a year or so. The makai saag came out with no salt, while the eggplant was almost cold. The server was good and she tried really hard. I am Indian and I know hot sauce is not the way to make Indian food spicy. When we asked her to make the eggplant spicy she was lost -- said the hot sauce would change the taste! What happened to adding a little ore red chilly powder to the food? I would rate the food mediocre at best."

"I have eaten here a lot, and will always come back because the food is consistently good, and probably the best Indian food in the city! The service was professional and helpful."

"We've now been to Indique Heights three time when the food is just "meh." The default is spicy, whereas the flavors seem to be missing. It's a very pleasant place to dine and very convenient to us, but I was underwhelmed."

"We were at a Monday night movie screening at the local library when we went in for quiet afters. Indique was a pleasant surprise with its beautiful spaciousness and decor of tempered elegance. Dinner was well served by a friendly staff and catered to our specifics- their signature chicken in coconut sauce was really delicious as was the richly flavored dal makhani. The papri chat appetizer was so authentically Indian it fondly revived memories of my college days in Delhi. The location here can't be beat- just an escalator ride up coming in from the metro. A superb dining experience for us - and well recommended."

"I had heard good things about this place, so when my friend and I were looking for lunch, we thought we'd try it out. We didn't realize that it was only buffet brunch (no menu items) on Saturday (and maybe Sunday too?) before 3pm, but it forced us out of our box to try new things, which was great. We had a little of everything: dal, mushroom curry, spinach and chickpeas, paneer makhani, etc. My favorites by far were the paneer and the mushroom curry. I haven't eaten so much good, flavorful food in years. It was fantastic!"

"This is a shadow of the Indique restaurant in Cleveland Park. The food is pretty average, pretty generic Indian foo. They don't try very hard, and the dishes and the rather dismissive service reflect that. I'm only rating this fair because they aim so low."

"I want to love the restaurant but the service holds it back. We had to ask for napkins, silverware, the drinks we ordered, and so on, at every stage of dinner. Most problematic was being served a set of chutneys that had clearly been eaten by another table first, down to the chewed carrot on the serving dish! The chutneys were replaced at our request (minus a chewed carrot) but the incident was indicative of service that was not up to par to the restaurant."

"My friends and I have been to Indique Heights on numerous occasions. We love the food, the Tamarind margaritas, and always look forward to going back. When we get together it is almost always our first choice of restaurants."

"This was a great lunchtime spot. The buffet was good (though I would like to see chicken curry as a lunch item. I feel like that is a standard Indian restaurant dish, and was surprised it wasn't there). But the complimentary appetizer, as well as the naan were great additions to a tasty and filling meal. It was enjoyable, and not too crowded either."

"Food was as always amazing! I love this place - chick pea chole, Naan, and Jumbo Prawn tandoori, and chicken ticka masala are perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. Two things I would improve: (1) they never bring the right number of plates with rice, always leaving off 1 of my children - odd and a little lacking in hospitality. (2) Service lagged after the meal was served. No one came back to refresh drinks until we signaled, etc."

"We enjoyed Indique Heights in the past, but there was a loud and obnoxious group next to us which took away from the experience this visit. Our order also took a long time to come out. But the food was good and the staff was friendly and we will go back."

"Good indian food in a pleasant atmosphere. Reasonable prices, good cold beer and hot dishes. Friendly personnel, but service was slow and erratic. Our waiter had too many tables to handle efficiently and we had to wait too long to order and then receive our food.
Finally, there was a cold draft next to the window where we were seated. Wife had to wear her coat while dining.
Overall, our experience was pleasant and food was good..."

"This is a nice, atmospheric place to chat and to eat. The service was excellent and non-intrusive. Maybe it was our choice of food (salmon and vegetables too bland, eggplant in peanut sauce too hot), but the food wasn't as good as other Indian restaurants I've tried. The place is so nice that I plan to return and hope for better food choices."

"There are very few good Indian restaurants in our area (Annapolis), so going to Indique Heights was a treat. The couple we were with were vegetarian and loved the baby eggplant and vegi biryani dishes. The vegetable samosa was better than most I've had - you could actually see the ingredients instead of them being blended together. We were a little disappointed with the saag paneer (specially requested, not a regular menu item), as it lacked spice, was rather bland. All else was great until we got dessert to go... The rice pudding trio was liquid (not pudding at all), but the flavor was good. The cheese flan looked and tasted like rubber. I guess we'll stick with ice cream next time around!"

"Fantastic dinner - service was top notch. Only issue was that the restaurant was freezing! When we arrived they wanted to seat us at a table by the window. We asked for a more central table and they couldn't have been nicer about it. Even two hours later though, as we were leaving it was still quite chilly in the restaurant. Love this place but I don't think I'll be coming back in the wintertime. I much prefer the outdoor patio in the summer. Overall though, I would definitely recommend to a friend. Best Indian food I've had in a long time and the beer was tasty too."

"Strange experience. Had a reservation but were at our 3rd table (1st in the bar!)before we finally settled in, and it was in the 1st of several dining rooms -- incredibly cold as the crowd thinned. (Free serving of wonderful Bhel Puri street snack as an apology.) "Street Snacks" are a highlight (Papri Chaat, crisps with chick peas and chutneys, already mixed together despite the menu description; Aloo Tikki, potato pancakes stuffed w/ peas), as was willingness of kitchen to make a small portion of the amazing Hyerabadi Baingan whole baby eggplant dish an appetizer. Would have liked the salmon cooked a bit less. Lamb Roganjosh (curry) very good. Mango ice cream had been in the freezer too long."
