Every dish prepared at Mye begins with the highest quality ingredients, bringing you the most delicious and authentic Japanese cuisine that's sure to satisfy all palettes.
"The highlight of the meal was the wonderful sashimi platter. The fish was fresh, flavourful and a wonderfully prepared. Would go back for more in an instant. Service was mediocre. We waited long enough at the end of the meal we decided not to order dessert. Would definitely go back again for the food."

"Fabulous sashimi and sushi. Japanese food is authentic. Best within 30 km. Creative chef. If you sit at the chef's counter, ask him to recommend items. Toro tuna sashimi excellent. Flounder, too. Uni (flying fish egg) and unagi (grilled eel) always reliable. Special last time was soft crab - super! Black cod great. Ask if they have ankimo (monkfish liver). Try a mix of things. Crunchy, soft. Cold, hot. Mild and spicy. Cold and mild first. Maki items (seaweed rolled around rice and fish or vegetable) popular with kids. But this is not a maki joint: try something new for yourself! Good selection of sake - - ask for advice. There are a variety of quiet places to sit, as well as more open areas. good for both intimate and family occasions."

"Mmmm....so mouth-watering delicious! So many flavour and textures experienced within one entree of Yaki niku. Freshly cooked, crisp seasonal vegetables presented with a mayo-like dip. EXTRA, EXTRA, On the house salad was presented after dinner order was taken. A nice surprise! Mother's Day was a hit thanks to Mye. Mom ordered the Shokado Bento Box full of goodies. She thoroughly enjoyed the sashimi and tempura. Our scrumptious dinner was topped off with a beautiful white (mom) and red roses for younger ladies. How nice! Service was spot on. Staff was prompt and courteous. PLUS not as expensive as I expected for this special occasion. Parking lot is a tad cramped. The 90 km drive from Ajax was worth it!"

"The only thing holding Mye from 5 stars is the level of service and somewhat noisey atmosphere (we prefer more intimate environments). Our server was a little standoffish and failed to explain the specials and unique features on the menu. On the flip side, all our needs were attended to quickly and efficiently, while not feeling rushed. Food quality was excellent!"

"The food was very good. Service was excellent. Without being asked they brought out a special dessert for my husband's birthday which was a nice touch."

"Didn't enjoy the food. The sushi was not that good. Sashimi was very tender and lovely. Service was frequent but too aggressive at times. Serving platters were cheap. For what they are charging, they could do a much better job. Not at all impressed."

"Mye was fantastic. We had two appetizers -the spicy tuna roll and the filo scallop and shrimp dish and both were incredible. For our entrees, we had the steak and seafood dinner and the shokado and both were excellent."

"Food was great and you could taste fresh fish unlike other sushi places. Ambiance was peaceful and quiet even though the restaurant was crowded. Servers were efficient but not very welcoming initially. however, as time went by they warmed up to us and then became really friendly."

"Enjoyed a dinner for 4 on Saturday April 20th. food was very good, however slow in arriving. We enjoyed the ambiance. the menu is overpriced , but perhaps that is just Oakville downtown."

"I come to Mye as much as I can afford it. For appetizer, I had uni sashimi which is one of my all time favourite item. It was sweet, fresh and decadent. Sashimi dinner as main course was also reliably delicious. Recently added dessert menu was not bad. I had the apple ring. The dough was a little soft, i wasnt sure if that was intentional but it was flavourful nonetheless. Apple ring was sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and served with Cinnamon ice cream. Cinnamon warmed my heart. All in all, another night of food filled success."
