"The restaurant is situated behind an Italian restaurant underneath an apartment building. We chose to sit outside as there is a canal there which we found quaint.
Our server was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. She knew EVERYTHING about every aspect of their menu. And their menu IS extensive. The support service was excellent as well. They removed plates/glasses as soon as they were empty.
The chicken satay appetizer was great and well presented. We came for the sushi though. The sushi rolls were average in presentation and were okay in taste. We expected phenomenal taste as everything else was fantastic. Maybe next time we'll try thte Thai menu before making a final decision on the place."

"I organized a surprise birthday dinner and was pleased with the overall experience. They were pleasant about making accommodations for the surprise, and a complimentary dessert was sent. Everyone enjoyed their food, which was fine enough. There were several things that made the evening a little "off", however: 1) An appetizer given to the wrong person at our table, and as a result there was a mix-up on the split bills. 2) Two people ordered the same exact dish and asked to have the leftovers boxed up. The waiter didn't bother to distinguish between the two, so we weren't sure whose leftovers were whose. 3) Piano at the adjacent restaurant outside was so loud it made conversation difficult! Not our fave place but overall pretty good."

"We had a wonderful dining experience in every regard except for one crucial problem. We were a large table arriving at 5pm and departing at 9pm. The waiter actually told us two incredibly rude things: a) he "would like our table so he could get more patrons seated in his section" (to make more tips); and b) again later requesting/commanding us to leave before we even had a chance to have coffee or dessert because he "hoped to clear space for more patrons". Since many of us at the table had spent many years doing waitressing, we were sensitive to his desire to have more patrons and make more tips, but it was unheard of to any of us, and felt rude to all of us, that a waiter would state this, then request/command our departure. Shocking."

Everything that Asia Bay Sushi have on the menu is delicious. The atmosphere is perfect away from everything, you can actually enjoy a fresh conversation with friends, family or your love. "Very nice location on the river on Las Olas. The Asian/Sushi food mix was very flavorful. We waited a good half hour for our reservation but were offered a drink as compensation, which was much appreciated. Once at the table, though, the wait between courses was long, and it was hard to get out waitresses attention. On the other hand, it was late on a Saturday night. Noise factor indoors only. Outside was quiet but very windy that night."

"Every single dish was disappointing. There was virtually no tuna in the tuna roll, no shrimp in the shrimp dumplings and no heat whatsoever in a pad Thai orderly moderately spicy. Teriyaki salmon was overlooked and dry. Never going back."

"I am a frequent diner at Asia Bay. It is one of my favorite restaurants in Fort Lauderdale. We were there on a Wednesday night and it was very quiet. However there was a wonderful pianist playing on the patio next door so it was very enjoyable. As usual our food was very good. I always have the Tom Yum soup and it didn't disappoint! Normally the service is stellar and you can't beat the patio seating."

"It's strange sometimes to read the other visitors' comments... It seems we were dining in different restaurants. Does the comment depend on contemporary mood so much?...
My dinner was oredictably nice: Tom Yam soup (8$) was not as spicy as it should be but nice and adopted for native americans' strange taste. Seafood set with green curry (24$) was super and huge (as native americans love the most), californian chardonnay (42$) was from oak barrel as I like and very refreshing!
And the service was just EXCELENT because there was an army of waiters ready to please all your needs.
The terrasse was nice and ambiently breezy. The live piano music coming from neibour bar was completing the pleasant sense of relaxation I've felt beeing here..."
