"Our department hit a great business milestone. As a result we 13 in the department went to The Emerald Rose for lunch and sat outside under the awning. The seared salmon was phenomenal, all the meals came at a reasonable time and together. The waitresses were so caring and personable but not overbearing - perfect! I have been to a lot of restaurants for lunch, dinner and business. THIS was exceptional. I highly recomend it."

"It's easy to overlook the Emerald Road. It's too easy to miss just tucked away in plain sight, right on Boston Road yet facing away from the main street (Rt 3A.) it helps to know the area or have a good GPS. If you just want an Irish Bar, go to the Emerald Rose Pub. Same menu, more pub. The staff, hostess and chef's are warm, friendly and remarkably welcoming. The food is above average and the Emerald Rose is distinguished by an outstanding wine and beer list with more than 16 beers on tap. Appetizers are excellent and portions are generous. Highly recommended for couples, families or folks looking for a fun night out. Read the posters and decorations and prepare for a great time and great food."

"ER has not disappointed me, we eat here several times a year. Had my fave-Pan Seared Salmon with Lobster and hubby had the Prime Rib. Apple Crisp rounded out the meal with wine, a couple of mixed drinks and Nutty Irishman Coffee. All were delicious, as expected and the service starting with the hostess and ending with the server were great. Prices are reasonable too!"

"My wife and I went on Valentine's Day. We were seated promptly and the service was outstanding. Our waitress was very attentive and pleasant, she was quick to respond to whatever we asked. The table we were given was close to the fireplace and provided great ambiance. My wife's meal was very good, however I ordered a $25 steak medium and it was medium well and a little dry. I didn't send it back because the waitress had done such a great job I didn't want it to be a downer for her and I really didn't want to wait for another steak. We have been to the Emerald Rose on numerous occasions and enjoy the restaurant. I'm hoping this was just an oversight on a busy night."

"We made reservations for Valentine's Day at 6:30PM. We were seated at 715, AFTER a couple with reservations at 7. We were seated directly by the kitchen, where every server ran in and out of, and we could not hear each other talk. I also noted 4 empty tables. The waitress was the saving grace of the night. She was prompt, friendly, kind and accommodating (even moving us to a new table). Dear April- you saved the Valentine's Day dinner! Perhaps a less chaotic night would produce a different experience."

"Had another wonderful time at Emerald Rose, Food was prepared perfectly, service was very good, and the seating time from our reservations was right on. They were busy, and did have to advise some without reservations that only bar seating (was available) without a wait was possible."

"Great food, slightly slow service, and loud dining room. But we will return because of the great food. We have been customers there for more than ten years and will continue to return."

"I think the only negatives were the lack of parking and the wait. I took the time to book a table for four on open table to avoid the wait, but when we got there (5 minutes before 7 for our 7pm reservation) the hostess took my name, confirmed the reservation, but then proceeded to ignore us for 15 minutes while seating other people. Granted it was a Friday night and it was busy, but why would I have been told to even go online to do this if I was just going to wait anyways? The waitress we had, I think her name was Jacqueline, was so awesome. She was quick with everything and had a huge smile the whole time. I was amazed at how efficient she was! That girl deserves a raise!"
