"The food is surprisingly good, unique and fresh. The atmosphere is casual and all that work there are super friendly. Our waitress was fantastic, very informative with the menu, attentive, professional, and accommodating. Really glad we tried it. Would definitely go back. The only drawback is the lack of valet parking."

"Rocker Goth vibe with upscale creative food and drink. Service was a bit discombobulated but all staff were really friendly and helpful. Wish everything might have arrived at our table a little hotter but the short rib pizza, mussels w butternut squash & blood sausage and farmer steak all were darn good all the same. The charcuterie platter to start was tasty as well. Gotta love those pickled carrots!"

"Nice atmosphere, nice drinks at the bar, and the food later at dinner was solid. However, service left a bit to be desired. The bartender and the server both gave me the feeling that we were an annoyance - like they didn't want to bother with us. Not the most welcoming vibe. Also, at the end of the night the server brought us the wrong check total, which caused us a headache to correct. She seemed largely disinterested that this had happened. I was very much looking forward to trying this restaurant, but found myself disappointed with the overall experience. I would recommend it with fair warning, as the drinks are worth a visit."

"I always enjoy myself and the delicious cocktails and entrées. I was lucky enough to have tired the Award wining dish from this years Bacon Fest. It was a bacon scramble with a homemade saracha sause and a Malort Julius. The service was excellent, I wouldn't except anything less from them. I can't get enough of this restaurant and I wish I lived closer to visit more often."

"Went on a Friday around 6:45 PM. Looked for street parking - none available, so we parked in the convenient lot across the street for $10. There is an outdoor area, but it was still too cold for that. The inside bar area was very crowded already, but we ordered beers - an extensive beer list, but not one "light" beer for someone in our group. Oh well, she ordered something else based on a recommendation and it was fine. Another in our group ordered a glass of wine, and it was served in a rocks glass - different, but kinda cool. And a generous pour also. Service at the table was great - not rushed, came back in five minutes like we asked. Burgers as good as advertised, and steak special also delicious. Great place."

"This truly is a bar, so it is very noisy with the crowd and music going. Our server was very sweet and smiley. She was very friendly. The food was really really good, especially for a bar. We ordered the arancini, carbonara pizza, and the bolognese pappardalle. There was only 2 of us, and we cleaned the plates. Everything we ordered was so good. Definitely beyond our expectation. I am still thinking about the pappardalle days after, so I will have to go back soon to get that fixed."

"On a cold sleepy Wed night went for dinner. We sat in the back because we wanted to talk. It was great... I was concerned about getting service by being in the back, but our server was very on top of it.

Great Beer list (Need to serve Half Acre). We had the Pizza, Kale salad, and the Burger with the Sauced fries... all was very good.

Can't wait to come back when the weather is nice."

"Noisy with good music that became ok after awhile. Unique and creatively prepared food. Beer mussels excellent, eclectic pizza choices that were fun to share. "I went in with no expectation on the quality of food and the food was outstanding. The Chef making each dish really cared about what they were setting in front of you. I ordered the scallops, which were good, but nothing to write home about. Also, there were only 2 scallops. On a dinner portion?? Not cool. My friend had the beer steamed mussels with blood sausage. "Fun place for interesting cocktails and serious yet very approachable food. I ordered the scallops--delicious but there were only two on the plate. Loved the burgers my daughters had. We ordered well-done and they were perfect."

"Out of 4 sandwiches, 2 burgers needed to be sent back. They were supposed to be well done, were bloody. Once burger needed to be sent back again - was supposed to be no sauce, was covered in sauce. The appetizer ( baked olives) was cold. They have no iced tea - don't know how to make it? The waitress seemed embarrassed, 2 sandwiches were comped but it ruins the experience when your group eats in shifts.We drove in from Western burbs due to the fabulous Trib review - will not be coming back."
