"My second visit to Aioli was as good as I remember the first to be. The menu is diverse, and each of the plates my friends and I shared was outstanding. The Gambas a la Parilla is one of my faves. This restaurant is great for vegans, vegetarians, and meat-eaters alike. The service is outstanding. It's hard to not have a good evening here!"

"Our dining experience was fabulous and began with the OWNER welcoming us! All wait staff was extraordinarily observant and attentive with our special Residents and the food was excellent. Our waiter took care of our special needs with regards to checks and payments flawlessly, which is VERY unusual when we take our weekly outings. We will definitley return and I have been raving about Aioli all weekend to my friends!"

"they did not tell us the cost of the cork fee ahead of time. We had some trouble with an over anxious waiter! The issue was did we drink 3 bottles as he said we did altho he never brought the bottles to show us he just got a bit impatient and huffy that we would challenge him. we actually brought 3 and drank 2! their could have been better ways to handle the situation. That was not the only issue we ere concerned about!
Our last few moments with this person messed up a great dinner"

"I have been here before and fell in love with this place. So much that I decided to introduce it to all my friends and love ones on my birthday. THIS PLACE IS NOT GOOD FOR BIG GROUPS. The owner was stressing out and was really rude and just yelling at everyone and cursing under his breath. I still don't know what he was upset about. He spilled one of our water onto the chair and didn't even try to stop it or clean it up causing one of my guest to sit in a damp spot. They didn't want to take the time to take individual orders so they took over and did a set menu. By that time i was so stressed out about my party having a good time that i just said whatever! Even though the food is the best, i don't think i will ever go back."

"Overall, our dining experience was solid. The mushroom appetizers were great and the Parillada de Mariscos very good. We were disappointed by the Paella de Valenciana however. While good, the composite flavors were too subtle and the rice was mushy. For this restaurant, the Paella should be the signature dish and consistently outstanding. It was not!
Also put off a bit by the corkage fee of $20.00. We brought a fine Spanish wine and although a few Sacramento restaurants may now be charging $20, I was displeased that Aioli didn't hold the line a bit lower ($15.00).
We will try Aioli's again but if we continue to be disappointed, adiios instead of hasta luego."

"Great food and so many choices. Everything looked wonderful and we couldn't decide. Ordered 3 appetizers and split it. Entrees were fabulous, Paella for 2, Rabbit and Rib Eye Steak. Desserts were fabulous, again couldn't choose because everything sounded so good. We each got a different dessert and shared. Service was fantastic and all in all a great evening was had by all."

"This was our third visit to Aioli. The first two visits, everything was outstanding. I was disappointed this visit. The man at the hostess station was a little on the rude and the paella we ordered was crusted on the bottom of the pan. I will definitely go back because my first two experiences were outstanding and I want to give them another chance."

"The staff insisted that we wait a couple minutes for a special table. I was thrilled that they went out of their way to prepare a nice, romantic table for two at the bay window overlooking L Street. If you desire a well-crafted and savory paella, this is your place. Our choice this evening was the Paella Valenciana, a medley of jumbo shrip, muscles, chicken, and lovely, flavoral rice. Be prepared to wait about a half hour for your paella to be prepared. The restaurant does give you this admonition when you order, so be sure to order an appetizer or charcuterie plate to fill the gap. We enjoyed a variety of Spanish ham and cheese. Throw in a good red wine, and your meal is in good company."

"First time dining here and was not suprised to hear they have been in business over 20 years. Truly exceptional Spanish cuisine with lovely atmosphere, and very good, but a bit slow service (which was not a problem for us, once we got our wine).
Had several different tapas to start and then paella Valenciana. Amazing pulpo dish with potato and lovely seasoning, a stuffed calamari that was wonderful and the arugula salad with beets and oranges was also superb. Pallea include lots of shrimp, mussels, chicken and even ribs (which added a great flavor). It could have used a bit more saffron, but other than that it was very good.
Server was knowledgable and friendly, although we had to wait for a while to see her. Great value!"

"First time for myself and 3 family members from SF. Taking a chance visiting a place with no prior experience under my belt, but friends had shared their mostly positive experiences during lunch hours, and well, I couldn't resist. Was very pleased with my decision!We shared 4 delightful tapas and a Paella Valenciana over some lovely Sangria. Each plate was beautifully presented and tasted just as good as it looked. Prawns, mussels, lamb kebab and my personal favorite the tartar de pescado fresco! Oh man I was in Heaven...needless to say, we were so stoked, that we each ordered a different dessert, and while I wasn't thrilled with my choice of chocolate mousse w/berries, the others were very happy with their selections."

"The dining experience what a life full! We received a warm welcome at the door. Our table in the back patio was romantically set with candlelight among the garden like atmosphere. There was a perfect balance between the water fountain and the live Spanish guitar in the background. The service was outstanding.The food was fantastic. I am definitely going back again and again."

"Food was outstanding, would definitely go back for the tapas. The tuna tartar was excellent, so was the salmon with white wine and capers. We had reservation at 8 and the kitchen was out of bread, so no bruschetta, the waiter was slow and did not look like he wanted to be there, sorry. But the food was worth it!"

"I was impressed that they found us the table that we wanted and our own server was excellent. but it was a Saturday night and they became busy so that water we asked for did not come until we managed to catch our own server. Unfortunately they had music on while we ate and it makes conversation difficult.
The wine was good and the food delicious and imaginative. I shall go again."

"I love the tapas at this restaurant, plus all of the interesting wines by the glass. We started with a torrontes and appetizer, then enjoyed the tempranillo with dinner. The musician who plays the guitar is just delightful."

"Nice place, good lighting, good food - however - too MANY SEATS in there. Way to packed. I made reservations and requested a window seat. Instead my date and I got the worst seat in the place. Right in the center - my back facing the guitar player, waiters and expeditors surrounding us constantly brushing my shoulder because they are trying to get by. There shouldn't be a seat there! This took away from our night - it seemed rushed -"

"The appetizers were amazing, the wine was terrific and the setting was good. The waiter was a bit touchy/pushy for my personality, but others really liked it. My biggest complaint was the over-cooking of our main dishes. It happens, and I've been here before without it being as bad, but I haven't been blown away by the main entree. The tapas are superb however."

"Every time I come here I am always pleased that I did. I have eaten dinner here several times and it is always delicious. I would reccomend (for two) ordering maybe 3 tapas and one entree, unless you are a big eater in which case get 2 entrees. The tapas portions are, of course, small because they are meant to share, but the entree portions are huge. A couple of my top tapas choices would be the "gambas a la parilla" and the " pan Catalan con higos" they never disappoint."

"We have gone here for several years. Very disappointed in the food and wine this time. The waitress tried to pawn off a wine she said had some
