Restaurant Reviews for Quattro - Four Seasons Hotel - Houston

Quattro - Four Seasons Hotel - Houston reservations Quattro - Four Seasons Hotel - Houston

1300 Lamar Street
Houston, TX 77010

Quattro – four in Italian – represents the four "faces" of the restaurant: breakfast, lunch, dinner and its lively antipasti bar. The restaurant incorporates various design elements, including creative lighting, vivid colours, an intriguing bar/culinary station and other alluring features, creating an inviting dining environment in downtown Houston. Quattro’s new enoteca-inspired dining concept offers guests a unique twist to their Italian favourites with a "small plates" dinner menu that changes weekly. Perfect for sharing, guests will indulge in the delightful creations prepared by Chef Meredith Manee, such as black and white calamari, garlic tiger shrimp with lemon risotto, truffle fondue with ciabatta and celery heart and grilled lamb tenderloin with citrus pesto. Sommelier Chris DeChillo's extensive wine library - with over 50 wines by the glass - presents perfect pairings. Quattro accommodates 235 diners in the bar, dining room and four of the unique private dining rooms.

Review 4 for Quattro - Four Seasons Hotel - Houston

Overall Rating 3.0 out of 5 (Good)
"Lovely, quiet restaurant. Enjoyed a romantic evening with my husband. Service was excellent. We decided on the enoteca menu, small tastings of a variety of dishes. Food was fair at best. Read a review from months ago that said the menu was seasonal, and changed weekly. The menu we ordered from was the same menu that was reviewed. Seasonal? Weekly? When spending $$$$ per person, I would expect to walk away ejoying the memory of the food. There are plenty of restaurants in the suburbs where we live that could serve the same quality of food, if not better. This is a hotel restaurant, and it lives up to the genre. Food that tastes like every other restaurants food. Not for me!"

Review 7 for Quattro - Four Seasons Hotel - Houston

Overall Rating 3.0 out of 5 (Good)
"More of a gourmet-styled restaurant that had some Italian types of choices. A little pricier than I expected based on the category it was put in. Main dishes were in the $25 to $35 range. Food was nicely presented and exceptionally prepared."

Review 8 for Quattro - Four Seasons Hotel - Houston

Overall Rating 4.0 out of 5 (Very Good)
"First-rate food, First-rate atmosphere, First-rate service. Excellent portion-size. The only area for improvement was in the handling of the wine list. We had to ask for it; the list only featured bottles and half-bottles. When we decided on wine-by-the-glass, we had to ask for another list. Both should have been provided when we took our seats."

Overall Rating 4.0 out of 5 (Very Good)
"Our food was delicious; I had tuna and my husband had salmon. Dessert was fantastic. The service was too good - we felt a little rushed. Also, none of the wait staff was particularly friendly until the dessert order was taken. However, that being said, it was an enjoyable dinner."

Review 14 for Quattro - Four Seasons Hotel - Houston

Overall Rating 4.0 out of 5 (Very Good)
"We had a very nice time. I had called ahead for special seating since it was a surprise for my husband's 60th birthday. We got a great
table by the window. We enjoyed the service we received. After we finished our meal, we were surprised with a lovely dessert tray with "happy birthday" written on the plate with thin dark chocolate!

Review 17 for Quattro - Four Seasons Hotel - Houston

Overall Rating 5.0 out of 5 (Outstanding)
"The Thanksgiving buffet was sumptious, letting everybody get exactly what they wanted - from traditional turkey or pork to wonderful crab claws or shrimp. The antipasti and caviar with blinis, the sushi, omelette station, bananas foster, fabulous tiny pecan pie tarlets, the bread pudding, etc., etc. are surpassed only by the lovely ambiance and great service.
Quattro handled things well for children, as well as for those with limited mobility.
One of my favorite places!
