"I was somewhat of a regular last year, but had a disappointing incident with valet (letting me sit there), and the receptionist (left me on hold when I was calling to let them know I would be 10 minutes late. I was still on hold when I walked in). Went on a Sunday when there was no valet and had an enjoyable evening with my family. I'm hoping they have gone with another valet outfit so that I might return to being a regular."

"My husband and I had the most wonderful dinner! It was delightfully quiet, the bone-in ribeye was delicious and mouth watering, done to perfection. Our waitress, Allison was a gem also;quick to suggest and made our dining experience so pleasant. It was my husband's birthday and she surprised us with- unknown to her- a strawberry layered shortcake. While dining we looked out our window with a wonderful view of a handsome old fashioned carriage ride taking place. What a find!"

"As usual, the food was perfect. Mike, our server, was very attentive and got every aspect of our meal right on! He anticipated our every need. My husband puts ice in his wine and when Mike noticed this (without our asking) he came running over with a glass of just ice. WHen I dropped food on my cell phone (ok, I'm not the neatest) he came running over with a napkin "for my phone". I can not say enough about this restaurant. They have never failed us in all the times we've gone. I ordered a salad and an appetizer. When Mike realized I wanted the app as a meal; he changed the salad to a smaller version and re-worked the app as a meal. Love this place!!"

"I went here for my first date with my now girlfriend, it was fantastic and the ambience food and service was great.
I enjoyed a fantastic night with the love of my life. The place was packed yet we were the only people in the room thru our eyes.
We closed the place down taking and looking at each other, they redid all the tables around us as we took each other in. We ft bad for holding them up from cleaning up our table , but everyone was so please t and said "oh your fine".

"My husband and I chose this restaurant to dine in for our 18th wedding anniversary. We casually mentioned this to our waitress when she was seating us and getting our drink order. When she brought out our dessert she had remembered this and wrote Happy 18th Anniversary on our dessert plate. That was so impressive that she took the time and remembered.

"Not sure about ths place on a normal night but Valentines day wasn't great. They clearly crammed extra tables in to cash in (not sure if they exceeded per fire code but had to be close). Space between tables was better measured in inches rather than feet. Service was poorish but how could u expect better given the conditions. Will be likely to try another spot when headed to Funky Town for a steak..."

"We were in Fort Worth for business over Valentine's Day and wanted to have a romantic dinner in a downtown restaurant. This place was recommended to us and we were fortunate to get a reservation. The service was outstanding, from the moment we entered the place. We sat at the bar until our table was ready (which was fine, since we were a little early). The first drink I ordered, once we were seated, was a Grey Goose Cape Codder, and unfortuantely, they had garnished it with a cherry instead of a slice of lime. However, the server quickly rectified that situation with a smile. The Beef Wellington appetizer was absolutely wonderful, as were the steak and the fish entrees and the creme brulees we ordered for dessert."

"Their food is good, as a filet enthusiast, theirs is not on the top of my list. Pricing is comparable with del Friscos / Ruth's Chris etc. The meat is tender and they cooked it well, just not my style or my favorite. Came here on Valentines day because it was the only option. "My girlfriend and I visited mercury chophouse (our first time) for valentines day 2013. The food was decent but the service was severely lacking. Our waiter(s) neglected to introduce themselves, talk about the restaurant, offer any suggestions/specials or check on us during our meal. We frequent plenty of nice restaurants in the area i.e. del friscos, reata, Texas De Brazil and Ruth chris. This place paled in comparison in all categories. I would not reccomend Mercury Chophouse."

"It had been a year since we dined at the Chop House, something has changed. First we ordered an appetizer and my wife order a salad. They brought her salad but no appetizer when I inquired the waiter came back and told us they were out of that appietizer, so I order a salad. Then the steak dish I order which cost $50 was served fajita style. It was very poor quality and over cooked. This was a $12 dish at any Mexican Resturant. When I told the waiter I wasn't satisfied he just smiled and said he was sorry. With all the other high end restaurants in downtown Fort Worth I would skip the Chop House."

"A great place in downtown Fort Worth: hard to notice on the corner but have dined here several times over the years. Think it is best place in area. The bar is set up well and can hold a larger group at the tables but also the dining room tables are positioned privately around the restaurant. The onion rings are outstanding. For those that like a hot tuna appetizer this is the place. All the appetizers are excellent. It is a steak place but the seafood and chicken dishes are plentiful. Wines available are pretty good for the size of the place and each night I have been there the bartender has been a plus - can't say enough nice things about him the last time the wife and I dined there. Appears to be a lot of locals."

"Staple Restaurant for Fort Worth Deal makers and investors at lunch, very nice for special occasions and romantic dinner as well. Nice selection of salads and reasonably priced lunch entree's for those with limited expense accounts. Good wine list.
