"Every entree was outstanding. The Mother's Day gift of appetizers was an unexpected plus. All three of those were delicious as well. I will be back and have already told friends via Facebook to come and share your food, friendly service, and great atmosphere."

"We dined at Osteria Pronto late evening. Service was anything but PRONTO. Our waiter delivered a laid-back style in taking orders and bringing food. He did not offer dessert choices, but did offer coffee after dinner. Dishes came out from the kitchen very slowly, but were delicious and hot, Restaurant atmosphere was lively and somewhat noisy."

"Living in Indianapolis, we try to eat here 2-3 times a year. Chef Rino does an excellent job preparing new and innovative dishes. Our dinner here last weekend was excellent. The server made great recommendations on both the food and the wine. Highly recommend"

"My first visit to this restaurant was at lunch. Very convenient to Indiana State employees who work at downtown government center area. Went with group of 5 people and were greeted and seated by very friendly staff. My chicken parmigiana was tender, not dry and the sauce was obviously freshly made and one of the best I've ever had in a restaurant...the spaghetti was cooked perfectly "al dente" to offset the the chicken. Anxious to try dinner menu with more complex dishes. Also, the prices were very reasonable for Italian food and the portions perfect (for me). Kudos to the excellent and wonderful chef who is the backbone of this restaurant."

"We stayed at the JW Marriott and needed to dine close to the hotel. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. It can be a little noisy at times but wasn't overwhelming. Service was great. We enjoyed the fried risotto and sea bass."

"Dining here is truly like dining in Northern Italy --- minus the mountains, of course! The food is some of the best I have ever had. Wonderfully prepared, beautifully presented and most of all delicious. Our server team was attentive to even the smallest detail. The water glasses were never empty. Plates were removed promptly but no one felt rushed. A joyful dining experience!"

"It was very noisy in there, so much that I could barely hear my husband who sitting across the table from me. Their menu is very short and they can't make any changes or exceptions to it (even for allergies). They sat us in one of those crammed booths where you have people on either side of you and you can't really speak loudly because the other tables will listen to your conversation. It was overpriced. We will not be going there again. Very disappointing."

"We visited Osteria Pronto 3 times while staying for an weekend hotel event. The service and food were surprisingly good for a hotel resturant... especially the Gnochhi!
While we opt'd for a lighter breakfast, they offer what appeared to be a great breakfast buffet at a very affordable price.

"Food was amazing. One of the best restaurants in Indy, hands down. We had the calamari, caneloni di mare, and the pan seared sea bass - all of it was great and creative in terms a blend of different tastes. Chocolate cake and tiramisu for dessert was a perfect way to close the evening. Service was ok. The only bad thing was the valet. The most unprofessional valet we've ever encountered and it is not close. That's not a big problem though becuase there are plenty of garages around."

"Came here to celebrate my wife's birthday. Everyone, from the front desk person to the manager to the servers all had great attitudes. Like they really enjoyed what they were doing. After our salads, we decided to split some gnocchi. Being Italian I try to get that whenever I can. We were able to order a "small plate" so that we could have a taste but not be filled up. The gnocchi was done perfectly - what a treat! I had the Spigola - a seared sea bass with spinach risotto. The sauce they used was fantastic and the fish was seared to perfection. My wife had the filet and scallops special. Steak was done perfectly as were the scallops. They gave her a birthday tiramisu for dessert. What a great evening. Definitely coming back!"

"Every thing about our experience was great, except for the hostess saying we did not have a reservation...then turning us in to Open Table as a no show. I was very specific that we booked through open table, received a confirmation(which I did not have with me)and also received a reminder notice of our reservation. I spelled the last name. We were seated but I did not get a feeling the hostest cared much."

"Ambiance is okay; personally, I'm not a big fan of the kitchen being in full view of the patrons. Service, salads and bread were good. We had heard the lasagna was "to die for," so three of us ordered it. It was made with a very generous amount of cheese and cream; in fact, too much in my opinion. It was very heavy and creamy. Some, no doubt, will like it, but I found myself wishing for some good ole tomato sauce. Husband had the cannolonis (sp?)with lobster, shrimp, etc. He was expecting bite-size pieces of the seafood, but it was minced up and ground together; he did not enjoy."

"The overall experience was like out of a cullinary magazine. From the seating arrangements to the classic look of the drapes in the windows. I have never sat so close to other diners before that weren't at the same table. But surprisingly it was never a bother. The variety of bread was fantastic to start off the night. The thin crunchy breadsticks packed a punch with its surprising flavor (my wife commented first) "How did they get all of that flavor in there?" The Bruschetta was exceptional and tasted just as good as it looked. My entre however lacked the fireworks I was anticipating. The Spahgetti and sauce were wonderful, but the Chicken Parm tasted like the fryer it came from. All in all great experience, ask for Kean (waiter)."

"When the amuse bouche looks like cat food, it's time to cut your losses and go to Subway. Everything we ordered, from the risotto ball appetizer (which the waitress didn't seem surprised to take away unfinished) to the entrees (sea bass was well-seasoned but the risotto was undercooked; pizza had way too much going on, so it was impossible to appreciate any of the ingredients) was mediocre at best. The waitress admitted that she didn't know wine and didn't even suggest dessert, so we'll never know if that could have been the redeeming course. Definitely a bummer of a meal and money we wish we had back."

"I was able to take my special someone out on valentines day. Atmosphere and service was great. Food was on the salty side and risotto was over cooked. As a chef myself I was excited to hear the chef was from Italy and expected good things. Which it was just minor details such as seasoning and proper cooking. Calamari was on the chewy side due to frying a little to long. I will go back and try something else. Perhaps the gnocchi.."

"The food was excellent and the service was top notch. I asked the waiter to pick his favorite dish as my main course, and he truly did pick what tasted the best (rather than the most expensive options). The pricing is pretty decent, but the bill can get a little high when you start adding in more than one bottle of wine. The tables were slightly close together, although it was Valentine's Day and I imagine they were heavily booked. Overall, an outstanding experience and I will definitely be returning again!"

Parking was not convenient. The underground garage was filled with parking for valet slot; very few for individuals' cars. Finding the exit for the restaurant was somewhat confusing."
