"While the ambiance is a not as cozy as I would hope, the wine list and food are well worth the trip. Our biggest issue was finding parking. The fig and apple flat bread was wonderful."

"We've been to Nosh several times and like it for a drink and snack stop. The food list is short, and but lots of wine and drinks to choose. This night, the service was inattentive for our table of six. We had to ask multiple times to place our order. And some items were forgotten, then came 30 minutes late. The food was only okay. I was disappointed as I know they can do better."

"Crab stuffed pasta was horrible!!! DO NOT ORDER THIS DISH! Everything else was passable, but not good for the price. For the money spent, the quality needs to be much better. Our waitress was extremely inattentive once we ordered wine; she completely ignored us and it took us at least 30 minutes to order our food even though the restaurant wasn't crowded. Only 6 tables had people, and there were a couple of people at the bar."

"Pretty good food and cocktail list. We ordered from the 'Date Night' menu, then added an extra appetizer. Service started out well, but, by the end of the night, we couldn't find our server and had to get the bartender to help us. Nice place, not bad food. Would give it another try, mostly because I really liked their cocktails."

"First time trying Nosh and was happy with all of the basics...food selection was good and well prepared, good wine selection and the overall ambience was nice.
I'm generally pretty easy going, but on this particular night our server was more interested in refining her look for the evening than serving her tables (she changed shoes and hairstyle during the long stretches when we would be waiting for food, water, etc.) and never bothered to apologize for the lapses.
Will go back at some point, but hope that I get a better server next time."

"Extensive wine list. Knowledgeable server who was well equipped to make suggestions. Small plates were plentiful and tasty. Ambiance was very very nice. Great place for couples or larger groups."

"My wife and I really enjoyed our experience at Nosh, before a concert at The Holland. Nosh was alive with a full crowd, verging on the point of a waiting line. Our meal was wonderful and our beers were cold and refreshing. We'll be back!"

"Our Easter brunch was simply delicious, the portion sizes weren't overwhelming and they had an excellent variety of unique items on the menu. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, Dominic was our waiter and he did a great job serving our table. Will definitely go again soon!"

"Group of 4 went to Nosh on a Friday night. We ordered 2 bottles of wine. The Sauvignon Blanc was served at room temp and the Zinfandel was served above room temp. The ice bucket to chill the Sauvignon Blanc did not contain enough ice to chill the wine. The waitress was not attentive to our table at all, even though the place was half full. She took a long time to serve us and a long time to take our orders. She brought out food in strange orders (brought out entrees before soup was served). Nothing special to report in regard to the 4 different entrees ordered. The French onion soup was absolutely terrible; no seasoning and it was served cold. Overall, all 4 patrons agreed it was a poor experience and we will not be going back"

"It was not very busy this Tuesday evening. The bartender told us to sit where ever we liked & brought us menus. It was my wife's birthday. He later bought her a birthday shot. They have our favorite cocktail on the menu, Moscow Mules, and serve them in a proper copper mug. They have a very nice and varied menu. One section called Noshing and another for entrees. We started with the Nosh Board, a variety of meats, cheeses and other goodies served with crisp, warm bread. It was huge, more than enough for 2, and delicious. Part way through we realized this would fill us up even though there were many things on the menu we wanted to try. The Ambiance is charming but the music could have been softer for my taste. We will be back many times."

"We'd been to Nosh for lunch a few times. It's basically a bar that has upscale lunch items. We'd not been there for dinner and wanted to see what they did for a evening menu. We should have known better ... at night it's still a bar first. The dinner menu was still light dishes. They did have a steak on the menu, but they'd run out.
Great place to sit and drink ... upscale dishes for a drinking establishment ... great for lunch ... not a place for great evening dining."

"Solid wine bar with extensive list, but light on the by-the-glass options. Our server made an excellent recommendation and our lunch (flatbread, soup, and fries) was very good. Nosh is just far enough away from Old Market to escape the ruckus. A few too many TVs."

"Our waitress was very nice, but upon arriving we told her we were catching a 7:30 concert. (That was at 6:15) We ordered a bottle of wine, an appetizer, salad and flatbread. The wine came fairly quickly. At 6:45 we asked about our meal. She came back and said 3 minutes for our salad and appetizer. They arrived at 6:55. (We cancelled our flatbread when we realized it has not even been ordered.) The mushroom risotto appetizer was nice. We both ordered the apple, walnut and gorgonzola salad. My husbands was fine. I had one small piece of walnut, 3 apple slices and about a teaspoon of cheese. We won't go back. I do have to say the waitress did say everyone ordered at the same time...we saw a lot of Creighton fans leave 1/2 hour bef"

"We go to Nosh every couple of months and always have a good experience. This review is for Valentine's Day. They had some special items on the menu, and service remained excellent despite a good crowd. I also think their prices are very reasonable."

"Disappointed in that we brought friends who had never been to Nosh before and we had been singing its praises. Embarrassed that they only offered a limited menu on a concert night and the service was not good. Not well staffed in the kitchen or with the wait staff on an evening they knew would be very busy. We went plenty early to allow enough time, and if I had known there would only be a bar menu offered, I certainly would have chosen a different restaurant as I made reservations over a month in advance. I would encourage Nosh to communicate on open table, their website and email when there is important information that the public should know!"

"As always...using Open Table...a table by the window...check!!! ...Our server Whitney was perfect...she told us were in time for happy hour prices and recommended the flatbread at a special price...she was right...perfect!!!...excellent wine lists with prices for everyone...duck tacos and corn chowder...wonderful!!!...specials with early and late happy hours, date night specials on Sunday, all age groups...while maybe the brunch might be for kids...only one child there on Saturday night...really is not a place for kids...which is fine with me!!!...overall we have never been disappointed with nosh and of course we will be back...thank you very much!!!"

"Our reservation was made a few days in advance and when we arrived, we were seated at a small and uncomfortable loveseat with an equally small and low table. It was as if we were seated in the bar just to have drinks. We expressed our distaste for the "table" since we made reservations for dinner. The hostess mentioned that she could seat us at another two-topper, but as she went to check, she promptly sat another couple there instead, and then told us there was nothing she could do. We were not willing to give them our business after such disregard for our experience. When reservations are made, it should be made at a regular table, not in the bar."
