"The extensive menu has the potential to please diverse palates, tho it's easy to find something to like, and not want to deviate the next time! Point of fact, after apps and entrees, my nephew immediately revisited one of the appetizers, the coconut shrimp!
Our waitress was exceptionally lovely, doing her best despite the very packed understaffed house. Yes, we waited too long for a second round of drinks and 2nd appetizer. If you're in a hurry, it'd be wise to mention it when you are seated.
Also, my "spicy" entree was only moderately so. Turned out, I wanted some of my hub's tandori chicken and mine would have been too hot for him had I increased the heat level. His was delish, as were the Gao fish both niece and nephew ordered."

"The food is outstanding. everything we have tried was simply amazing in flavor and complexity. but that is where my praise will end. We were seated by hostess and told they were on a shortage of menus and she would get us 2 as soon as possible. did that happen? no. after probably 10 minutes and no server at our table, we flagged down another employee to get menus. probably 20 minutes went by before our server finally showed up. Our server was knowledgable about the menu and read our orders back perfectly, and that was the last we ever saw him throughout our meal. We saw him ask our neighboring table how everything was TWICE and acted like we were invisible. We could have dined and dashed we were forgotten so long."

"I purchased a groupon to try this restaurant. I chose wisely! The food was wonderful - I highly recommend the Biryani. The lettuce wraps were yummy, but very messy. The music got a bit loud as the night went on, but the atmosphere was very pleasant and with the openness of the dining room, it was very airy."

"I was very torn on my overall experience rating. The ONLY reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5 was that our server was aloof and pretty slow to respond, and it was quite loud. Overall: Go to Bombay if you are not in a time crunch and want to have a great culinary experience.
I got the Chicken Makhani (medium spicy) and it was FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC. Seriously, the best I've ever had. My husband got the Lamb Madras and it was also fantastic- we recommend getting medium spicy as well (he got it mild and wished he would have upped the spice level on that).
The garlic naan is expensive but totally worth it- soooooo good. I also got the Tamarin-tini and that was really cool - glad I got it.
Great experience, would highly recommend"

"Overall this place is beautiful. Our server seemed to disappear after our food arrived, but there were plenty of other people checking on us.
Iwe liked our food very much. and the place is gorgeous looking. However it is the most expensive Indian food I've ever eaten!
The only reason I will return is because I have another group on to use simply because of the price. It's good food, but I can find it way cheaper and just as good elsewhere."

"We had a wonderful date night experience at Bombay and can't wait to return to try more of their delicious food. Bombay is a unique setting with special touches of decor and mood lighting. Love the chandeliers. Service was attentive, but not overbearing. But, best of all was the food! Such an extensive menu with lots and lots of choices and great spicy options. And all sooo delicious. Our fave dish was the mushroom masala chicken. Portion sizes were ample. I hope Bombay keep the prices affordable and we will come back again - and again."

"I am no expert, but the food seemed authentically Indian. I figured it would be Indian/Cali fusion, but no. The space is truly beautiful, except for two problems: The hostess sat us at the "romantic" table right next to the waterfall--the spot is lovely, but loud from the crashing water; and they installed TVs way up high on each side of the bar--my wife (facing the bar side of the space) was distracted by endless Bollywood."

"It was extremely easy to book my party of 20 with no hassles. The atmosphere at Bombay is extremely unique, fun, and elegant. There were several choices for beverages and entrees. My favorites were the Karma Sutra drink and the Chicken Tikka Masala were a definite favorite with the group! This was only my second time at this restaurant but will definitely be back."

"So loud we had to shout to hear each other. Service was adequate nothing to complain or brag about except the greeter who was a real treat friendly and warm. "Beautiful space for an Indian restaurant but food falls far shorter.
The lamb biryani was clumpy, flavorless and not fragrant. There is a significant lack of skill in the kitchen. There is much better Indian food out there. Breads were dense and heavy not the way good Indian breads are made. For price point this is disappointing.
No validated parking either."

"The service is the only draw back to dining here and if you happen to encounter the manageress, don't expect her to have any listening capabilities. A very inexperienced and immature trainee manager ruined the event."

"Very much enjoyed my first visit to Bombay. The food was excellent, the service was friendly and attentive, and the decor in this place is pretty darn cool. My only mild complaint is that it can get pretty noisy in here so it may not be the best choice for a cozy, romantic meal!"
