"Sorry, I had previously dined at JR's in the past with very positive feedback. However, the dinner this week was not nearly as good for the money that we spent. The food preparation was not as expected . Steaks were smaller than anticipated and the side dishes were less than desirable. All in all, I was very upbeat about dining at your restaurant but now I do not think that I will return."

"Took Mom here for her special day and we could not have been more impressed. Crab and Avacado salad was phenomenal. We got the date special which came with a filet and ribeye and both cuts were cooked perfectly and were amazing. The ONLY negative thing I can say about Jr's is they allow smoking in the bar/lounge area which is a shame because the bar area was very nice and had a great crowd hanging out in there."

"We had a rare kidless weekend and landed at JR's thanks to a mailer we received. We will most definitely be back. The food was EXCELLENT!! My wife had the cut-with-a-spoon filet tenderloin with a bushel size serving of asparagus and I had the melt-in-your-mouth Sea Bass with creamed spinach and artichoke hearts. Obsolutely delicious. Our service was great. We had a waiter-in-training supported by a trainer but any minor errors made were completely overlooked by the friendliness and attentiveness. Both waiters carried our to-go box and wine and ESCORTED us to the bar to finish our wine and enjoy the live music. Very nice touch. When replaying our entire staycation weekend we both agreed that JR's was the highlight. Definitely recommend!!"

"Went my wife and could tell from the moment we reach the front door it was not going to be a good experience. The smell of smoke was so profound that you could smell it outside. This did not get any better as we were sat next to the fireplace that is open to both the bar and dining area and by the time we left our clothes smelled like ashtrays. We had the bacon wrapped lobster and bisque for starters. The first was ok but the bisque was devoid of salt and tasted flat. For our mains we shared a surf and turf. Steak was tender but came out a full level undercooked. Lobster was good. Dessert included coffee that had lipstick on the cup and the waiter forgot to return with a new cup. He removed the charge when I reminded him. Not a good evening"

"Our food was delicious. I was really impressed with the value and the menu options. Our server couldn't have been nicer.
The only drawback was an exceedingly loud guest behind us. However, our server and the manager were more than willing to help us move to avoid the problem.
I would make a return trip even tho it's not conveniently located for me!"

"My wife and I went to JR's for our anniversary dinner. It was our first time and it was a memory that will last a lifetime. It was a diverse crowd that was upscale yet down to earth. We didn't feel out of place at all. We wore business casual attire and fit in perfectly. We could have worn jeans and still felt fine. The menu was extensive and the food quality was exceptional. It was one of the best steaks we have ever eaten. The preparation was impeccable, the presentation professional and the service was second to none. It was an experience that we recommend to anyone and we look forward to returning as often as possible."

"This is my first time to write a negative review even though I dine out daily. The entrees are small, tasteless and way overpriced. Steaks are what you would get at Chili's. The seared Tuna was six thinly sliced, small, tasteless pieces. The calamari is bizarre- presented like a State Fair funnel cake or resembling large sized fried cheese sticks, with a rubbery consistency-- we actually could not tell if we were eating cheese or calamari, but is was so unpleasant we sent it back. A manager came over and expressed some irritation, claiming it was one of his most popular dishes, but grudgingly comped it. The Champagne Brie soup is bland and tastes neither of champagne nor Brie. The Balsamic dressing was presented in syrup form. Beware."

"The service was excellent. The food was AMAZING. They have also added a Romantic dinner combo that is very reasonably priced. We opted to order off the regular menu, but we plan to go back now that they have the lower priced option. It is truly the best steak I have ever eaten. The seafood sampler is a MUST HAVE for an appetizer. We only wish they had a smaller option for 2 people. Thank you for an amazing and wonderful dining experience. We will definitely be back!"

"From parking to entry to service, everything was great. Servers were excellent, management introduced themselves and were attentive throughout. We journeyed to the bar after dinner and enjoyed the combo and the management even checked on us there."

"It was a first date when I went and it was so loud I couldn't hear my date talking. We were not screaming at each other but we both commented on how loud it was. The waiters must be use to it because they didn't seem to increase their volume to speak to us. I was glad we had made plans after dinner so we could get to know each other (which is what dinner was suppose to accomplish)."
