Built as a Modern Farm House in the big city, Elizabeth's Neighborhood Table starts every dish with the freshest, most local and natural whole ingredients we can find. By working directly with farms and co-ops and sourcing organic, biodynamic and un-adultered natural ingredients whenever possible, we have crafted a menu which brings you back to your grandmothers table. Back to when everything was local natural and organic!
"Menu said corn beef hash and eggs. It was not hash, more like corn beef chunks. Service was poor: did not bring cutlery. Waffles did not come with the compote. Omelet not cooked through."

"We enjoyed the food at Elizabeth's and the decor was great. However, the wine list was limited so we didn't order a bottle. The service was pleasant but not good. The waitress was slow to take a drink order and did not know the menu well. She didn't volunteer the specials and then said them so fast we had to ask for several items to be repeated. I would go again and hope that better service would improve the overall experience."

"Just a lovely neighborhood place. Only concerns are that some tables are a bit close to each other and it would be helpful to vary some items on the menu. If you dine there often, the menu can be very repetitive. However, the price and atmosphere is just right for a casual neighborhood meal."

"A lovely neighborhood place. Easy going; food is pleasantly unpretentious. Ambience is very pleasant. If you want a spectacular dining experience, this isn't quite it. But if you want really lovely atmosphere, well-prepared, straightforward food, and particularly if it's within walking distance, this is a perfect place."

"We love Elizabeth's and usually eat at the bar, which has always been rock solid, with solicitous service. Our experience in the dining room was not nearly as pleasant, in everything from lackluster service to lukewarm food. I truly hope this is an exception, because it was somewhat late on a Sunday evening, because ordinarily, we love this place."

"Hadn't been here before even though this is our neighborhood. It was a very relaxing and pleasant meal. The atmosphere is unlike a Manhattan restaurant. It feels like you are in a nice country setting and the pace is very relaxed. The menu is not overwhelming, but very basic. Attention is paid to good quality, sustainable ingredients for standard fare. This is exactly what we needed with the friends that we met, who wanted nothing ethnic or spicy. Glad we finally went. Will certainly go back for brunch. Wish they had weekday breakfast, since this neighborhood could certainly use more options for that."

"Such a cute place. Foods we ordered were good, nothing too amazing but they were fresh and had a very true home-made feel. If it wasn't so far away I would love to be a regular, but I live in Hoboken and it is quite a trip for me. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience."

"Elizabeth's has made it through the learning curve for the most part but still must improve table service, which is spotty, to fulfill its potential. The same obtains for its front of house. On the upside is the generally very good, fresh food made with local ingredients. The restaurant certainly fills a strong neighborhood need and niche, and it is gratifying to see it busy. As warm weather is almost here the demands will grow on the staff and kitchen as Elizabeth's has a great outdoor dining deck. Ownership must strive to make improvements to meet the certain exponential demand and get to the next great level. I sincerely hope they succeed!"

"From the outside the restaurant is simply charming, but the decor on the inside does not do it justice. The food is good, but the service, though well meaning is lacking. Still, I would go back again for a brunch or lunch."

"Like stepping into Disneyworld right there on the Upper West Side. White picket fence surrounds sidewalk tables at 93rd and Columbus. The lingering winter winds forced us inside to a too-bright dining room scattered with neighborhood diners, mostly en couple. The menu appeals to me because its simple, fresh and mostly-organic. But it is not adventurous or innovative or even 'special.' The food was very appealing to me when served: fresh, clean and yummy. But this is not a place to impress your friends. Its seems to be a reliable joint for locals with an odd ambiance that feels distinctly themed like Disneyworld. For a post-performance dinner after Symphony Space, its one of the better choices within a 4-block radius."

"Great down home cooking!Fried chicken is amazing and also the Cod and Chips! Very cool atmosphere not your typical NYC restaurant. Service is always great and wines are very reasonable."

"Elizabeth's seems to be suffering from a personality split. The physical environment and dress of the staff all spell high end coffee shop or diner. But the menu is very limited and mostly much too expensive. Some menu items seem to fit the presentation better than others: Cobb salad, burgers, fries, etc. But then there are "fancy" entrees in the mid-$20 range. The food is mostly fresh and thoughtful although some of it was heavy and greasy. We had several mistakes from the kitchen. They would benefit from lower prices or a more cohesive experience. I suggest they copy BARKING DOG on East 94th..."

"We chose Elizabeth's Neighborhood Table because it was close to our location and was noted as "kid-friendly." It fit the bill on both counts. The food, however, was pretty underwhelming. My daughter's hot dog was burned, which is a first (how hard is it to cook a hot dog?!), and my steak was undercooked (much too red for "medium rare"). The rest of our party found the food to be good, but it was definitely not note-worthy. It also took well over 30 minutes to get our food, which seemed like a lot considering 2 of the 4 of us were kids and not ordering complicated food. I would not go back."

"We have had several meals here and have always been very pleased, but not wowed, by the food. But the restaurant staff is so pleasant and the environment so "country", that I just love dining here. If I have a complaint about the food, it is that it tends to be a little dull, as if the philosophy of the kitchen is to play it very safe. That is the only shortcoming. I have always been very happy dining at Elizabeth's."

"This place is heaven. Originally from Vermont, I like a good country breakfast, and with the highest quality organic ingredients, rustic menu choices and a bit of contemporary american flare, this restaurant had me texting friends and family afterwards to recommend it."

"Had a very pleasant experience at Elizabeths. To start, the service was excellent. The food was good, my boyfriend had the fish and chips and said it was excellent. I ordered the muscles. They were just okay, they came out of the kitchen, not as hot as i would have liked, and there was a couple of spoonfuls of a gelatinous mustard sauce on top. it was not mixed in throughout the dish, which i thought was odd. they were tasty, but not fabulous! Had a very nice glass of organic Pinot Noir as well. We will definitely go back but i will try some other dish."

"A hidden gem. Showed up a bit early for brunch reservation for 7 and were happily accomodated after a short wait. Service very quick and attentive even during the busy Sunday brunch crowd. Looking forward to going back."

"We were a group of seven and we showed up early for our reservation - no problem, staff was flexible. The food was excellent and we had a great meal. The one problem was that though the restaurant was only about 20% filled, it took almost 45 minutes to get bread served and our order taken."
